What is your favorite thing to do on a rainy day? If you had today all to yourself, what would you do with it? Would you sleep? Read? Play video games? Discuss how you would spend today if it were all yours.
I really like rainy days. If I had today to spend at home, I would most likely wander around in my house, watching the rain from different windows. I would be tempted to go outside immediately and splash around, but I would force myself to wait till later, so I wouldn't be soaked all day. At lunch I would make myself a bowl of ramen noodles. They really are the best thing to eat on a rainy day. I feel like I would try to read a book, but I would get distracted, it being a lovely day and all. So I might settle for a movie instead, probably a film from Studio Ghibli, or Jurassic Park, especially the one where it's raining and the T.Rex is trying to eat them. The End
I hate rainy days, unless I can stay home. So I would most definitely stay inside all day. I would try to get a lot accomplished, but would probably fail. I'd say I would read a little bit and hopefully get one of my book reviews done. I would definitely cuddle up in blankets and watch movies, most likely Friday Night Lights. I agree with Sierra. Soup is the best thing to eat on a rainy day, so for lunch I would make myself chicken noodle soup or tomato soup with grilled cheese. If I was tired I would take a nap. Yep, it would be a very lazy day inside for me.
It would depend on what time of the year it was. If it was raining in the fall, I would probably go duck hunting. If it was any other time of the year i woulld probably sleep in late. I would get up around noon then i would play video games the rest of the day. It would be a great day. I love not having to do anything on rainy days.
Sometimes rainy days are okay, but I would prefer sun! On my rainy day, I usually laze around in sweat pants and a tee. I cuddle up in a blanket and sit in my mom's big squishy leather chair, while watching movie after movie. Oh and I usually have some kind of food in my hands at all times. Occationally I will make a bracelett while watching movies! :)
If I woke up and it was raining, I'd lay in bed all day and read a good book. Nothing could ever top that. (: Either that or I'd probably go to my friend Azia's house and just hang out with her and our friend Justin all day.
If I had the whole day to spend at home on a rainy day, I would be as cozy as possible and do everyhting I like to do on those awsome days. I would first have some breakfast, then I would watch a movie or a bunch of T.V. episodes on my computer, while working on one of the many drawing projects I usually start on. After a while I would take a small walk in the rain and see whats happening outside and see what birds or other animals are out and about. When I return, I would grab a mug of hot chocolate and some cookies and watch another movie. Finally, I would go to sleep all covered in cozy blankets and listen to the rain on the roof and fall asleep.
Rainy days are my favorite days. I like to sleep and hear the sound of rain on the roof, and nothing feels better than reading on a rainy day. I would probably bake some banana bread or cookies. When I was younger, I used to roast marshmallows over candles and give them to my dog/brother. I always get restless when I'm inside for too long, so I would definitely go for a run in the rain. Running in the rain feels so free and liberating. Then I would take a long hot shower and fall asleep watching something on TV.
Rainy days and I have a love-hate relationship. There are some days when I welcome to rain with open arms, and then there are those other days when I just wish the sun would be out. But if I had the whole day to myself on a rainy day, I would definitely enjoy sleeping in over having to get up early for school. After snoozing for about half the day, one of the first things that I would do is either read a few books or crawl my way into the living room to watch some random movie. And, sure enough, it just would not be right without there being food within reach. To be honest, there really would not be much to do because of the rain. You will not hear me complain about that, though. I certainly am grateful for those days when I can just kick back and relax.

I also tend to clean my room or organize something when I get sick of laying around. I like to put on a rain jacket and boots and go for a nice walk also. Those seem to be some of the best walks. I love sleeping when it is raining and hearing the booming thunder and feeling the misty air coming through my window. It is always so comforting to fall asleep in a warm bed during a rainstorm. Usually I lay in bed for a longer amount of time than usual and enjoy the sleepiness that naturally surrounds my mind. Cloudy days are always my favorite because it makes me think of being a little girl in London with striped socks and a bob haircut. Rainy days convey different emotions. I think rainy days are art days. Rain evokes different emotions.
If I was in a city, I would linger out of my bed and throw on a dress, raincoat, socks and boots and make my way out to a city sidewalk and find a coffee shop with a red door. Inside the coffee shop I would order hot tea and sit by the window. A guy would start to play the guitar in the corner for the small crowd that had gathered. There we would sit, by the window, enjoying the rain as music filled our ears and tea warmed our spirits.
If at were a rainy day, like today, and we didn't have school, I would try to sleep in as late as I could. When I would get up, I might read or listen to music. Maybe go on Facebook and see what's up. Basically it would be a lazy day for me.
Well first of all, I HATE being alone of rainy days. Second, I simply HATE rainy days.
But when I was little, I enjoyed going outside with an umbrella - naked - and running around in the rain. Unfortunately, my family has many pictures of that embarrassing scene. It's a little funny though.
If I was forced to be alone on a rainy day, I would most definitely eat a TON. Then I would sleep to pass time away. Rain just really depresses me, when I'm alone.
But if I were to be with 'someone else', I would snuggle and watch movies and make STOVE TOP popcorn (because I hate microwave popcorn). I guess I would basically do the same thing if I were alone, but I wouldn't feel lonely or depressed.
If it was a rainy day and we didn't have school, it would definitely start with sleeping in till around eleven. I'd then wake up and go make a huge breakfast. I'd probably just hang out at home for the day. Most likely I'd just watch a movie, pop some popcorn, and have a good day at home hanging out with my family. I would have to go to sleep with my windows open. I love sleeping when its raining. It is so relaxing!
Honestly Rain makes me sad normally so i like to sleep. I could sleep till about noon then get up and eat something easy to make like pizza or something then sit my butt in front of my tv and watch some of my favorite shows! After that i'd most likely pick up one of the books i'm reading and read that for about on hour then go back to sleep. I know its not exciting but its what i do.
On rainy days, I love to just relax and listen to music. I always seem to add a nap or two in there. I tend to get kind of lazy as well, but who doesn't? I think school should have a nap time during rainy days too! I'm not much for playng video games though.
