Yesterday, everything went wrong. Today, everything is going to go right. Write a story where you have a really good day. Again, a little dialogue would be nice. Be creative!
I woke up this morning on time. I turned on the shower and warm water ran over me. I put my makeup on and it looked great! I was also having a fantastic hair day! :) I found the perfect outfit to wear and I headed out the door with a full tummy. :) In school, I aced all of my tests and didn't have any homework. One of my teachers came up to me with an awesome surprise too!
"Kortney, since you've been doing so well on your school work...you get to graduate early!!"
“Oh come here my precious! The gold encrusted pancakes are ready for you” As you can hear, my day started out as one for the books. A. My Precious is a great name, B. My aunt is really nice, C. I love gold encrusted pancakes! After I ate them I felt rejuvenated and healthy, so it was no surprise that my walk to school was quick and fun! On the way, a van of nice kids came and threw money at me! It was 600 billion dollars! When I got to school I handed a few million out to my friends and other random nice people. School was cancelled for 3 months because of something and we all got to go home! Then as I was walking home another van came by and threw money at me! Another 600 billion dollars! Then when I got home, a physic was waiting for me and she told me that my future will be filled with joy and I will be happy for the rest of my life!
I woke up in the morning and stepped outside. The grass was bright green and it was sunny. Summer! I needed some help fixing my computer, so I called the company. When they picked up on the other line I was surprised to hear fiesta music. I was their 1,000,000th caller and I had won free computers for life! After the good news I went out for a swim. The water was the perfect temperature! After that I went inside to discover my mom had cooked a delicious meal and for dessert there was chocolate lava cakes. Yummmm! What a great day
I woke up to a wonderful smell. I walk down stairs and see a giant banquet laid out before me. I eat as much as I can and head off to school. I skip and jump with joy as I turn the corner and to my surprise find a fifty dollar bill laying on the ground. " I am the luckiest person ever!" i scream. I go to my classes and get A's on all my homework. I go to lunch saying hello to everyone with a smile. " have some extra chicken nuggests" says the lunch lady. I thank her and have a deliciouse lunch with all my friends. The rest of the day goes fantasticly. I put on my coat and watch outside into the light rain, and I begin to sing. Then...I trip. Confused I look at the cause of my fall. Something was sticking out of the ground. I dig it out and find a box. I slowly open it and find it filled with gold. I run down the streets once more singing and dancing and filling like a million dollars.
Mmm, it’s Friday, only one day left in school this week. It’s lovely to go up, take a long, hot shower and then go downstairs and find new made pancakes. What a great mum I have. It’s sunny and warm outside so I don’t have to wear a jacket when I walk to school, it’s almost summer and a lot of classes allow us to go outside and enjoy the nice weather. We are done with almost everything in school so I don’t have any homework. “This is how life always should be”, my friend Erin says, and I have to agree! After school I have track practice but I don’t mind because it’s so much fun. When we’re done we often drive down to the lake just to hang out. This is the best time of the year, nothing can go wrong this days. /Jennifer
I decided to go to bed early tonight. It is 9:30 and I have not been to bed this early all year! I was out like a log as soon as my head hit the pillow! I woke up at 6:30 when my alarm went off (usually I hit snooz until 7:30). I got up and wasn't rushed for once. When I slipped on my jeans, and reached in the pockets I found $20!! Today just felt good. I went to school and forgot we had a test in english, but since I went to school early I was able to go to the study group! I ended up acing the test. When I got home there was a letter in the mail and it had said that I won a scholarship for college and I could use it for anything involving school, even a car!! So I went and bought my Toyota Camry!! :) :) :)
It was going to be a beautiful day in Florida. I woke up with plenty of time to get ready for school. I got there about ten minutes early. My drive to school had been nice. By the time I left for school, it was already 70 degrees out, so I drove to school with the windows down. When I got to school I realizied that it was friday. My whole week had been test after test after test. And since it was friday, that meant that I would be getting all of my tests back that day. So I went to all of my classes and learned that I had aced every single test! After school, since it was a nice day, I went to hang out at the beach.
Last night a giant basset hound climbed through my window. I named him oscar. When I woke up in the morning, it was the middle of summer and I had plans to go tubing with all my friends. So I went tubing and had a grand time. I didn't even get sunburned, I just went straight to the tan. When I got home later that night, I found out that I had won the lottery. So I invested the money so that I would be a billionare someday. Then it started to rain green jello and the entire face of the earth was covered in a four foot layer of it.
This time I woke up perfectly on time, but then realized we had a snow day! No better way to start a day besides not having school. So I went and helped snowblow and stuff and then I went back inside and had a big lunch and some hot chocolate. After I was done with all of that, I took a super awesome nap and then went and hung out with friends for the rest of the day.
One day, there was a girl named Louise. Her mom had woken her up early for school. There was a really bad snow storm happening that day.
"Sweetie, you don't have school today! They just cancelled it," said her mom. "Awesome!! That means I don't have to get ready!" she replied.
Louise went back to bed and woke up around noon. She decided to go play out in the snow for a while. In two hours' time, she built a snow fort, a snowman, and shoveled the sidewalk for her mom and dad.
She had hot cocoa when she got back in the house and watched movies with her mom and little brother until it was time for bed.
I went to bed it being the middle of winter and woke up it being summer. I looked outside, the sun was shining, and the grass was green. It was the best feeling ever. I got up and went for a run outside and later hung out with friends and got an awesome tan! No sunburn. I also won the lottery that day. I was also blessed with extreme knowledge and did not have to go to school anymore and I could go straight to being a Midwife. It was probably the best day of my life, being because it changed my life. ha. The end.
Then Hugo woke up from that terrible nightmare he had about his many unfortunate events.
It turns out that it wasn’t Monday at all. It was Saturday morning, which meant he got to watch cartoons and eat French toast. And, most important, he wouldn’t be embarrassed in front of the entire class by Ms. Pegason today! Hugo sighed with relief and went back to sleep for a few more hours as it was only four in the morning. He dreamed of happy things, like cupcake mountains and chocolate rivers and cotton candy hills and licorice trees. Any child would do anything to have a dream as good as that! When he woke up again, he could hear his mum making breakfast in the kitchen.
“Good morning, sweetie,” she said, once he had wandered into the kitchen. She set a Spiderman plate in front of him and placed a huge pile of French toast on it. Hugo poured himself some Sunny D and cheerfully ate his breakfast. Today was going to be totally awesome and be nothing like that nightmare of his.
Hugo had the television all to himself the entire day. Miles had been sent to his grandparent’s house the night before and his mother had to do some work on the computer. He sat on the comfy, leather sofa the entire day and watched all sorts of cartoons. He didn’t have any homework to do, so there was nothing else he really could do. None of his friends would be out and about until later. But when they did arrive, they had all sorts of fun. It was a perfect day for Hugo.
Well to start off, I won the lottery on a scratch-off I purchased at a gas station. After that, I used the money to get a giant limo and I went to Missouri. I got Sean out of basic training and I FINALLY got to see him, and he was so excited! Then we came back to Wisconsin and I bought a machine for me, and I got another neighboring machine for my aunt and uncle. That night I had a rave in my awesome house. Adam Sandler showed up and he was the entertainment for the night. Since I was so locally famous, Micon Cinema decided to change their name to the 'Breanna Jean' theatre and I could go there anytime I wanted to watch a movie. Oh and did I mention that I bought the entire Oakwood Mall (with all the apparel included)? I pretty much owned the entire state of WI, and it was an amazing day.
