This week is homecoming! I'm really excited for the cross country team's run with the football. It's always interesting. During my sophomore year, Amanda and I had to stop and ask a man mowing the ditch to use his cell phone because Coach told us that we should turn left when we needed to go straight and wasn't at the intersection we thought he'd be at.
Today is the start of homecoming week! I am so excited! I love the dress up days and its most exciting since I am a senior. I will miss these fun activities in the future! But this week I shall enjoy every moment and memory I make! This week is just going to fly by! I cannot wait for the pep rallys and to face Glenwood City on Friday!!
I saw on the news the other day some guy who had this duck that just followed him around like a dog. I decided it would be pretty awesome to replace my dog with a duck. My dog would be so mad. I could just keep it on a leash and bring it places with me. Everyone brings their dogs into petco, and I would just bring my duck into petco. I'd also teach it dog tricks like roll over and speak. I can't even tell you how awesome it'd be. Ducks are so great.
Well, I am super pumped about homecoming week! Even though it is my last, I am excited. Dressing up is really fun, today is 70's day and there are a lot of people that are dressed up. It is always nice to see a lot of people participate. I am especially excited for Thursday! SPARKLES/NEON DAY!!!!!!!!! It is going to be awesome! Well I am not sure what else there is to say so good-bye! :)
Umm, well this weekend I did a lot of searching for my senior quote. While looking I realized how much I enjoy finding and reading quotes! I am now addicted to quote Garden! I started writing a bunch down on sticky notes. I put them, about 25, on the back of my door at home. Two of my favorite are "Dream big, act bigger" and "Wherever you go, go with all your heart"
I got my UW Stout acceptance letter this weekend. I noticed that a lot of other people got their letters as well. I am getting excited for college. Even though I am going to stout, ma parents still want me to live on campus my freshman year. This is pretty surprising if you know my parents! Im not eccited for all the homework, but it is still going to be an fun and interesting change.
Oh mondays. I was home sick on friday so I had a long weekend. I went to the doctors yesterday to find out why I have been sick for 4 weeks and found out it was not strep or anything just a common sore throat. I do not feel good again today and do not really want to be here. I am looking forward to going home!
I don't really like free writing. I'd rather have the topic be "write about Brett Favre" or "write about J-Shore." Since those aren't the topics, I can't write about them so that is very disappointing, but I'll get over it eventually.
Well, it is raining today and I love the rain. Especially in the fall time, the grey skies really compliments the leaves that are changing. I might go for a walk later but I have homework to do first. Otherwise I did not have anything too exciting happen to me today so there is not a whole lot to write about.
The only thing that I can think to write about is homecoming. I am not very involved in homecoming, but I think that I can do a fair part for the homecoming scavenger hunt. There are a few things on the list that I could have gotten in right after lunch. Unfortunately, that is all that I can think of for today.
I got my UW-Eau Claire acceptance letter this weekend! I am going to be a blugold next fall! On top of being excepted to Eau Claire i got to go back to volleyball practice. I get to play in tomorrows game and I can't wait. What a great time to come back, homecoming! I am still very busy with all the things senior years is throwing at me, but at least now I am starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I am doing good in my college class so that is a big accomplishment for me! I am going to keep plugging away!
Today I visited St. Norbert College and I loved it! I had so much fun, despite the pouring rain. It was such a beautiful campus I was fell in love right away. I could definately see myself going there! I have a hard decision to make about where to go and I am a little nervous about it. I know in the end I will make the right one, but the process of it all is a little on the stressful side. But my day was awesome touring the college and spending time with my mommy! :)
Well what's on my mind is I got to watch Russel Wilson play this weekend at Camp Randel which was basically amazing since he is amazing! The Badgers completely dominated which was also awesome! Nick Toon had 155 yards recieving..so yeah he is basically a beast. It was nice to go with Lindsay to the game as well! Overall, a great weekend. The Brewers clinch a playoff berth, The Badgers won big, and the Packers beat the Bears! Great weekend!! bye mrs. m
So, this is about 30 minutes late (it's 12:28am) ... I am oh so very sorry! But I would like to say that I am FINALLY caught up with makeup work! Which feels FANTASTIC! I am also having a very good night :) After school, I went to the review night for the test and now I personally am feeling very confident for this English test. After that, Alicia and I went shopping and went to Bdubs together! I had THEEEE best time! Oh, also, I thought i'd let you all know, I told the guy who thought I was going to Africa that my flight got cancelled and I will no longer be going... mainly because I couldn't stand one more day of not texting him. You have got to understand my situation here, though. He is a major hottie, no joke. Not to mention he is a musician (specially, a drummer), mechanic, hottie, snowboarder, singer, a hottie, and also he has got a lot of other.. talents, that I probably shouldn't tell you about. BUT ANYWAYS, MORAL OF THE STORY HERE IS THAT I AM HAVING A GREAT NIGHT! And I am glad to be back from Africa :)
Well, it is Tuesday now and I forgot to freewrite yesterday. So I guess I will freewrite today. Emily put glitter all over my face and it keeps getting up my nose and making me sneeze. I am really hungry right now and I want to go get some more pretzels out of my locker. I'm stressing myself out for that english test. Homecoming week is very exciting and keeps me very unfocused. I'm not sure what else to write about so I am going to stop now.
