  1. I am officially a Certified Nursing Assistant!! Taking this exam over the weekend has lift a tremendous amount of "weight" off my shoulders. I didn't do much other than that over the weekend. On Friday I went shopping with a friend and Saturday I jumped on my cousins trampoline. Then Yesterday I worked!! Now I'm off to CVTC to take another big exam and I hope it goes just as well as my CNA one did.

  2. At first i am destracted
The sound of cars driving by
The things I could be doing
But then the words don't lie.
    I start to drift off
Like i have wings and can fly away
    Noises start to fade
This place I do not stay.
     It becomes a picture
Worth more than a thousand words
    And it's louder than
    Any voice I've ever heard.
    it becomes the truth
    Art; being able to see
    It's time to speak
The truth will set you free.

... It's crazy how much this book relates to me. Definitely cried while reading this one. How did you know I'd relate to it so well? Hmm...

  3. I had an amazing weekend! On Saterday I went hiking in Menomonie with my mom. We sat at Wakanda park for awhile and then went and got coffee. Then on Sunday we set up our volleyball net and played for awhile. Overall it was a very relaxing weekend and I really enjoyed the weather!

  4. I had two rehearsals for ECCO and the Beethoven 7 performance on Saturday night. It went really well, and the audience was packed. I have never seen such a crowd at an ECCO concert, and it was exciting to perform in it. Professor Namji Kim performed a Beethoven piano concerto. It was amazing. I also went hiking in a creek with some friends and then ate some delicious curry chicken. Sunday I basically tried to force myself to do my homework, but ended up spending a disproportionate amount of time walking around barefoot in the mud because it was so nice outside.

  5. This weekend felt like summer! On Sunday it felt like I did not have school the next morning. This beautiful and amazing weather has been messing with my head all weekend. After an end to a great season on Thursday, I slept all day Friday then worked and made some money. This money I worked hard to make was soon spent on my fabulous weekend. It was a great weekend but I literally did not accomplish a thing. It feels so so good to be lazy for once! Now with cheerleading ending, I have a lot more time to focus on good times with friends (and possibly some extra time on homework, maybe!) Today is a beautiful Monday and I am in a fantastic mood! Thanks early Summer weather!

  6. I had a very much needed relaxing weekend. It was amazing! Friday I did not go to school because I was not up for it, plus nobody was here anyway. I went to Sam's club with Micki and we got a lot of stuff including this flavored, fizzy, water called Ice. If you have not had it, try it! Saturday I had to babysit at 6am to 8:30am. I actually ended up staying the whole entire day at their house just playing with the kids and hanging out with the parents. We are really close family friends so it was so much fun and not weird at all. We ended up having a bbq later that night so my dad showed up and it was a fun little party. I had to be a DD for all of them though ha ha. I do not mind doing that because I always get paid back with a full tank of gas :). Sunday, I wrote my paper and relaxed the whole day. I took a nap and sat out in the sun listening to music. When Andrew and I went to my mom's last night, we went for a long walk and it was really nice. I even slept with my windows open last night! I love this weather!

  7. I absolutely loved this weekend!!!!! Other than having to write my book review I spent the whole weekend outside. The warm weather really makes me want it to be summer. But I can't believe that third quarter ends next week. It's almost here!!!

  8. Last week was amazing! Going down to state was an awesome experience especially as a senior. I think it was a good bonding experience for our class. We are all very proud of our boys and girls. Other than that I did absolutely nothing all weekend because I am grouded...yippy! The Hunger Games comes out on FRIDAY!!! I cannot explain my excitement for this movie! I am even going to read the book again, which I never do!

I am sooooooo excited for summer and college! I have sent in all my housing and orientations this weekend, and just can't wait to go!!! I babysit for the first time for this family this weekend, and there kids were Amazing! It is probably just because it was the first time, but she said they're generally well behaved. That’s a relief, I hate babysitting naughty kids!

  11. My weekend started out OK, but it ended badly. It was pretty busy for me, but I became very ill by Sunday, which ruined all the rest of the plans I had. Today started out pretty poorly too, but I finally started to feel better shortly after the noon hour. Before I was noticeably sick, I did get a chance to try out my new aerobatic kite, and that was a lot of fun.

  12. I just woke up a couple hours ago, because I went into a short coma. My head was pounding so badly yesterday and today that I couldn't keep my eyes open. I took a bunch of pain killers and wrapped my head in a freezer and it still didn't go away. The only thing that usually fixes it is a self-induced coma. I feel a lot better now, although it isn't completely gone. I'm hoping by morning I will be completely better. Anyway, Sunday morning, before my head broke, I went to ride Gem and I was unable to because she sprung her shoe. A sprung shoe would be the equivalent to a woman walking around with a broken high heel. I didn't get a call, but I'm hoping Nigel got me the hookups this morning and Gem's ready to go tomorrow. I got her some nice little booties for the pasture so she doesn't pull her shoes in the future.

  14. Mrs. M I'm really behind on my blogging so that is basically all that is on my mind. All I think about all day is English and how great it is. It's basically my life! I wonder if Hayden will ever blog again. I am guessing he forgot what blogging is! I miss Hayden...and Clay...and Lane. <3

  15. I am so behind on blogging, so I am using this time to catch up. I've had a very busy week, I guess. Out of last week and this coming week, I will have only 1 day off from work. It's kind of sucky because I barely have any time to do any recreational activities... But oh well. I figure out that my next paycheck should be about $400... So I can live with that :-)
