Over the course of the day today, I want you to observe five things about the NATURAL world and describe them. For example: the sound of the leaves rushing across the grass while I was walking to my car sounded like nails brushing down the sleeve of a cotton shirt.
1. I hear rain tapping on the roof sounding like soft knocks on a door.
ReplyDelete2. I see dreary clouds in the sky floating around like dust in the wind.
3. The trees were rustling like they are angry.
4. Leaves on trees were waving goodbye to the dry spell.
5. Turkeys were running across the road to avoid the bumper of my car and the large drops of rain falling down from above.
The rain hitting the roof is like fingers nails tapping on the table.
ReplyDeleteThe rain, falling slowly as I walked, made a beautiful melody hitting the ground.
The rain created a rhythm in my head, a puddle for me to jump in, and hydration to the flowers.
The wind whipping wildly as I walked outside made the trees branches bend.
Stuck inside, I am, as the world turns, the sun hides, and the rain falls, wishing to be dancing.
1. The rain drops sound like a giant drumming his fingers on my widow.
ReplyDelete2. I feel like the warm breeze is wrapping me up in a sheet that Mother Nature just took out of the drying machine.
3. The clouds are covering the sky in a layer of frothy frosting.
4. The grass tickles my hand, feeling like my cat's whiskers.
5. The sound of the wind ruffling the trees' leaves reminds me of the sound of pebbles falling in a Native American rain maker.
1. The bird singing sounded like a person whistling
ReplyDelete2. The grass is a shade of green that reminds me of a green apple
3. The sound of the wind sounds like a person taking a long deep breath in
4. Dandelion look like extremely small suns spread across the lawn
5. The clouds look like large warm melting marshmallows
1. The rain pounding on the roof this morning sounded like cars rushing by.
ReplyDelete2. The fresh smell of earth rose as the rain hit the ground.
3. Blue birds were busy finding materials to build a nest as the brisk spring breeze blew by.
4. The turkeys were displaying to a hen in the middle of a field.
5. Maple buds fall all over my car as leaves pop out on the trees.
