What has been the most rewarding extracurricular activity in which you've participated? Why did you like the activity? What did you learn? How do you think participation in this activity will impact your future?
I've participated in over a dozen extracurricular groups but out of all of them, cross country is the most rewarding. I like this sport because pure talent doesn't cut it. The runner has to always be training to keep their physical fitness up. I've learned leadership skills along with developing a better work ethic which will help me in careers later in life.
I think that FBLA is the most rewarding extracurricular that I am involved in. If you take it serious you can learn a lot about being a leader and time management. You also can learn some people skills that will help you in the future no matter what you do.
I believe that basketball has been the most rewarding activity I have been apart of. Any sport teaches you how to be apart of a team and how to work together. We have had lots of ups and downs during the season and it teaches you how to keep your head up. It's the best feeling to win!
The most rewarding extracurricular activity for me would easily be basketball. I love the sport because of the competition and excitement it involves, especially during playoff games. The thing I have learned most from basketball is how to work with others and also be a leader on the team. I believe this will help me in whatever career I decide to do in my life later on.
I think the most rewarding extracurricular activity I have been in has probably been softball. It teaches me to be patient, hard work, and also being part of a team. It will help me be a leader in the future and to also cooperate with others.
I don't think that I have been in an extracurricular activity that has been rewarding. If I had to choose, I guess dance would be it. I have learned to work with people, and to compermise. Also, I have learned leadership skills.
It's a tough choice for me! I have it easily brought down to both cross country and FBLA. If I absolutely had to choose, I'd go with FBLA simply because 1...I dont know how cross country would have affected me in my junior year and this year and 2...I believe FBLA will help me more in the future going into sports management. Three years as and officer (Reporter, VP, and President), two years at state, and large involvement within the Colfax FBLA will be great experience going forward and also looks very good on applications! To tell the truth though, I reaaaaaaally miss cross country. I loved EVERYTHING about it EXCEPT the running. I really wish I had the chance to have run for the last two years!
I'd have to say that my most rewarding extracurricular activitiy would have to be between basketball and volleyball. Basketball has taught me to never give up because anything can happen. However, volleyball has has really taught me to step up and be a leader and to step out of my comfort zone.
My most rewarding extracurricular activity would be FFA. I got to go to several leadership activities and many fun trips. I went to Indiana last year and that was a lot of fun. I got to meet people from all over.
My most rewarding extracurricular activity would be between volleyball and FCCLA. In volleyball I have learned how to learn from others, how to be a leader, and how to learn from mistakes. Although, FCCLA has taught me how to work with others in stressful situations and organization skills along with leadership skills.
My most rewarding extracurricular activity would be track. My freshman year, my sister made sure that I would join track and it turned out to be the most memorable moment ever. Our 4x800 not only made it to state that year, but we made it on the podium for getting 4th overall! With this happening all during my freshman year, it helped me all of the rest of my career to make it there again!
It is hard to choose so i will say both forensics and dance. Dance has taught me perseverance and leadership and it has been really fun. Our trips to state were really exciting. Forensics is great because after you do all the hard work and practice for months, you get to spend a really fun day in Madison and then when you perform at state you feel awesome!
My most rewarding extracurricular activity is definitely Destination Imagination. It's helped me to stick with my childhood creativity, learn to work well with others, but most of all it taught me the importance of organizing my time. Not that there was ever a year that we didn't procrastinate.
My most rewarding extracurricular activity would be track. Last year i got the privilege to go to state and run three different races. The experience was great and will never be forgotten. This will help me in my future because it has persuaded me to continue my track career beyond high school and has given me the necessary drive to be able to compete in a higher intensity level that would be present in a college atmosphere.
my most rewarding extracurricular activity is FCCLA. Last year i was elected president, that has brought many new experiences. I have learned how to organize, become a better leader, connect with people and the community and above all gain knowledge on topics i would have never even thought about before. FCCLA has brought upon some of my favorite moments in high school. It is a great way to have fun and learn at the same time!
Basketball and cross country are the two most rewarding activities for me. I couldn't choose between them because both of them have taught me to be a leader and to work hard. Cross country taught me to never give up and if you reach down, you will find that you still have some left to give. It is all a mental game. Both of them have taught me about teammwork and to not let others down.
I think that the most rewarding extracurricular activite for me would have to be cross country. It taught me to not give up when something is hard because it will get easier with practice. It will help me get jobs because I won't give up if it looks like hard work right away.
I think that my most rewarding extracurricular activity would have to be football. I love to play the game and it is just really fun for me. While being in football I have learned alot of leadership skills and I have also learned that a good work ethic is needed to stick with the sport throughout the summer as well. I think that this will help me in the future because, it has made me think about playing in college.
My most rewarding extracurricular activity would be the musical. I loved being able to participate and meet new people that I other wise wouldn't have tried talking to. Being in the musical made me speak my mind (more than I do already) and helped me realize that there is truly something speacial about everybody and that even if you think that you can't do something, it never hurts to try
Well I suppose it depends. If it had to be a school extra curricular activity though, it would be the musical. It showed me how people can form makeshift families and bonds that can last a long time and that you're stronger than you think.
