Enthusiasm

"Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm." -Samuel Taylor Coleridge
What are you enthused about recently? What excites you and gets you all fired up? When was the last time you were really enthusiastic about something? Discuss your enthusiasms.

  1. Yelling and screaming gets me all fired up about some things like hunting, fishing, camping, and shooting bow with friends. When I yell and scream, I feel as if I am enthuiastic. Greg, David, and I get ourselves pumped up a lot like about turkey or deer hunting.

  2. When I don't have to work gets me excited. That means that I actually get free time, which is rare for me lately. Going to town also gets me very excited because I seldomly go there. I love going to the mall and eating Kobe's Japanese in the food court. That may be my favorite place to eat. I haven't been to Kobe's since February. It definitely sounds like it is time to go there soon(maybe this weekend).

  3. Hm, believe it or not I am actually enthused about this author project, because I really like my author and I am excited to learn more about him. Um well projects always excite me when I am actually interested in them and want to learn more about what I have to do a project on. Sometimes if I am not interested in the subject of the project it feels like it is a chore to do the project. Um, well I guess the last time I was enthusiastic about something was yesterday when I chose my author for my author project, because I am pretty pumped to do this project.

  4. I get really excited about art projects! In folk art, we have a final project and we can do whatever we want!!! I get excited about being able to create something and also the chance to be creative. Sometimes, teachers (not you Mrs. Myers!) don't allow you to use your creativity, however, I think students receive better grades when they are able to express themselves :D I get easily excited about a lot of things. Whether it's hanging out with friends, camping, hiking, music, and more!! Yay for enthusiasm!!

  5. I get excited about running. However, I think that sometimes I act like I dread it and hate it, just because I get nervous for the races. But I really like it!
I also, like Kayla, get excited for creative projects. I love just sitting down with all sorts of stuff and creating something awesome!
The thought of summer and warm weather also makes me enthused, because, well... I don't know! It just does!
Other random exciting things: mashed potatoes, cats, roller coasters, nail polish, and State Street!

  6. I get really excited about running, especially running relays in track. I love the fact that you're part of a team and you're all running the race together. I was really excited last Tuesday when both of the relays that I'm on won 1st place. It was exciting because we didn't even have the best times going in.
I also get really excited about having no homework until I realize that without homework I really have nothing to do after track practice. (Not that I want you to give us more homework!!)
