My weekend was horrible. I was supposed to work from two to ten on Saturday. But that didn't go as planned. One of the people at work quit, so I had to go in at eleven and work til twelve. Because I'm under eighteen and I can only work eight hours a day, I had to leave work for three hours and come back at three thirty. I ended up leaving work early because my back has been in pain for a few weeks now and I'm pretty sure that I have a kidney infection again. Yay. So if I'm moving around slower than normal, that's why. : /
Then on Sunday, all the stress I've been under finally blew up at work. (Not the best place to blow up... people ask questions.) So I had a horrible day at work in addition to my back pain..
Now I'm going to be positive. My sister's birthday is on Wednesday. Her friend Ashley and I are taking her out to eat at Jade Garden, then we're going to Coldstone Creamery for dessert. (: I don't have to work on Friday or Saturday, thank goodness, because my mom is coming up from Illinois this coming weekend. I'm excited to see her because I miss her a lot.
I'm really tired this morning from last week and the weekend. Being homecoming week and having a two papers to work on really wore me out. I'm hoping to get to bed early tonight, and maybe that will help fight the cold I am getting too. Saturday I had a cross country meet in Duluth. It was fun, I ran well. Sunday was a pretty good day. I slept until 8:30 and then took a nap until 10:30. Until work at 3, I worked on my research paper. I got to bed early last night, but I'm still tired. :(
Well this weekend was good, but very unproductive. On saturday I just hung out all day long after work, then in the evening I went to Menomonie for a show a friend was in. And sunday was another day to just lay around.
I'm ready to be done with this reseach paper. A lot of stress will be gone when I turn in that final draft. That sure will be nice. I just hope the rest of the paper will go as easily as the first half did.
I'm enjoying the cool weather that has been around lately. It's weather like this that I feel like going outside and exploring, because you dont get hot easilt, and you can return home for a nice cup of tea, thats right I drink tea :D it's good stuff! I'm hoping this week goes well. It's all back to normal after a super fun week. One of my favorite things about last week was when I heard about the discovery of a potential planet that may be able to support life. Just think of it. Its so exciting that we finally found a place where its inhabitants may be wondering the same things that we do. Well im really hungry right now. I could really go for a footlong, with every on it. I can't wait for the short week next week. That will be so nice.
I am pretty pumped to start a new project in independent studio art. It is always relaxing to go into the art room before lunch, and have it all to yourself and just work at your own pace. Today I got confused/frustrated at how to make graphs for Social Problems. Whenver I eat chips and salsa(all the time) I like to have milk because the salsa at my house is usually really hot, so milk helps. I have this awesome Incredibles phone at my house. It looks like the one from the movie. You should all come check it out.For real. It's legit.
Well today was a pretty good day...classes were all fairly relaxed and it was nice to just get to chill a little. I wish that I didn't have annnny homework..but that won't happen haha..Right now I am eating a piece of bubblegum but I still have the flavor of a 3 musketeers bar..not bad :) Tonight my mom and I might go and see "The Social Network", I'm pretty pumped about that! I can't wait to see it!
Guess what i'm posting. Well i'm at work right now actually thats why i have internet becuase of the wifi. Well this paper is hard for me but i love my topic. Its so interesting and i'm learning things i didn't even know about. I like it so much i'm actually renting a movie about it from the library. Its from the history channel and it looks amazing. Well i'm learning new music for solo ensamble already its italian and i'm exceited to actually do forensics this year. :D
This weekend was great! I spent the entire Saturday in Duluth, and I spent Sunday moving into my new room and spending time with a friend. Tonight I must work on my Social Problems project. I seem to be freaking out about that. Just slightly. And on the bus ride home on Saturday I started a new poem. I had to write it in my phone because I didn't have any paper or anything. :)
diversity and harmony walking hand in hand in a cold and empty world in a vast and barren land for diversity has become lost and harmony is living cold within the mortal hands that choke it and will not release their hold poor diversity is lonely, the emptiness his only friend maybe if he is alone enough, his emptiness can end but how cruel would that be! harmony could not survive without his other half, how could he stand to be alive? how unfortunate this blindness! how impossible to heal how mournful is this ignorance, how strange but yet how real maybe they do not live alone, inhabiting the empty land maybe they live among the world, but no one cares to understand diversity and harmony! can they become more than a ghost? they may be sick of waiting by the time they're needed most
I can't believe its Monday already. The weekend went by so fast. One minute it was here, the next it was gone. Hopefully this week of school goes by fast cause then its one less week of the school year and then graduation!! Unfortunately I don't have any big plans for the weekend and I have nothing to do right now except read a book or type my research paper.
This week is totally testing my patience … but in a good way. There are so many things that I’m looking forward to, and I just can’t go another minute without thinking about what is to come.
One of the top things that I’m looking forward to this week is getting to see the Watoto kids come in to sing and dance for us on Thursday. Mrs. Christensen has been talking about it a lot lately (or so it seems), and it is just getting me pumped for their arrival. It should be very interesting and entertaining!
Saturday I will be spending the majority of my day in Eau Claire for the UW-Eau Claire Clearwater Choral Festival with some pretty cool people. I was able to sing for the concert last year and I had a boatload of fun, so I’m sure that this year will be even better. I probably should get looking at my music. I haven’t even taken the chance to look at it as I’ve been so busy trying to get my future solo ensemble piece called “Amarilli, Mia Bella” down. It’s in Italian so … yeah.
And I am also waiting for three books (A Clockwork Orange, Fahrenheit 451, and The Woman in Black) to come in the mail. It’s only been four days since I ordered them, but I’ve wanted to read them so bad. Until then, I guess, I’ll just finish The Catcher in the Rye, even though Holden is annoying the heck out of me right now.
Monday's are dreadful days. I woke up this morning and went downstairs to work on my research paper before I left for Tech. Once I started that I got really frustrated. I lost track of time and was going to be late for my Tech classes. I was getting really angry, so I decided to just not go to Tech. I stayed home and wrote a letter to my third grade pen pal. After I was done with that I had to go to high school. Once I got there I started to get in a better mood. Carly and Breanna both gave me a nice hug :) After school I went to Eau Claire for a chiropractic appointment. My back cracked. It felt good. I also got my senior pictures developed. When I got home I fell asleep watching TV and got woken up from a text. Anyway, I'm still in a bad mood and am trying to finish my research paper. I can't wait to lie in my bed and fall asleep. Hopefully tomorrow is a better day!
MONDAY!! well I did not write a blog for monday, but I will pretend that it is Monday. So on Tuesday we have a HUGE volleyball game against Mondovi! We are both undefeated in the conference with a record of 6-0! I am excitedly nervous about the paper being due this week. I am excited becuase it will be over, and I think I actually did a pretty good job with it.
This week is crazy. There isn't a lot due, but I kept forgetting about blogging. I cannot focus, and I don't remember when assignments are due. I'm hoping I didn't forget to do any homework tonight either!
I am also looking for a new car apparently, which sucks. It means I have to stop driving my moms nice car and be back in a cheap junker.

Yeah so my spacebar requires all my thumb's muscles to press it down because the obnoxious CAD students mess everything up on these computers.
ReplyDeleteSo that's annoying.
Tonight, after dance, I'm editing my final research paper. Also I want to make chicken dumpling soup.
OMG. Today (Tuesday) the dance team starts learning our COMPETITIION POM ROUTINE! I can't express my excitement enough.
I hope we have a pop quiz on "The Catcher in the Rye".
