Wednesday
My usual routine in the morning is to hit the snooze button once, and in those nine minutes come up with your blog entry for the day. Today, as Aaron would say...I got nothin'. Therefore, the first person to open this up and look at it, YOU are responsible for today's blog entry. Try to be more creative than "free write." Thanks! See everyone seventh hour. :-)

okaay. so for today's blog I want everyone to write about what your favorite cartoons were when you were little and if you would watch them now would you still like them?
ReplyDeleteMy favorite cartoons from when i was little are:
pokemon, scooby-doo, doug, hey arnold, batman: the animated series, franklin, and little bear.
I still love to watch any of these.
i didn't really like the angry beavers or cat-dog.
OOooo! Good one, Sierra! My favorite cartoons when I was a little girl were the original Bugs Bunny cartoons and Tom & Jerry. I also liked (but none of you would know these) Josie and the Pussy Cats, Fat Albert, Sigmund and the Sea Monster, and H.R. Puffinstuff.
ReplyDeleteOf course, today my favorite "cartoons" are Family Guy and South Park.
I always used to watch Schooby-Doo, Rugrats, Doug, Recess, Bugs Bunny, Tom & Jerry, Pinky and the Brain, Arthur, Hey Arnold, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. There's probably a ton more that I could list, as that was back in the day when I watched TV all the time. Occasionally I come across these cartoons. Some are still good, but I sort of grew out of most of them.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite cartoon when I was little was Arthur. He was the main one I watched. I also watched the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Batman, Darkwing Duck, and many more. I only watched those ones though because my brother ran the TV. But yes, the main one was Arthur.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite cartoons when I was little were Hey Arnold, Arthur,Tom and Jerry, Rocket Kids(or something like that), Bugs Bunny and all of those characters. When I was reeally little I liked to watch Teletubbies, Barney, and Mr. Roger's Neighborhood. I would still probably watch Arthur, Tom and Jerry, and all of the Bugs Bunny cartoons! :)
ReplyDeleteTom and Jerry is my all-time favorite cartoon! I am not sure why i like it so much. Then i'd have to say Courage the Cowardly Dog and Blues Clues!!
ReplyDeletemy favorite cartoons would be any one from Hanna-Barberra. i would go to my grandmas house to watch them. but when i was at my house i would watch blues clues. i was very upset when steve went to "college" ( he left because he was going bald, and wanted to pursue a singing career) after steve left, and his brother came to live with blue, i was very upset, so i stopped watching it.
ReplyDeleteI loved watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I would wake up every Saturday, really early to it along with Sonic the Hedgehog, Kirby and all sorts of other ones.Pokemon is awesome and I really was excited when I was a my grandmas and it was on, since I didnt have all those channels. They were so much fun to watch, and I would still watch them if they were on. Someday I will have to wake up and see what ones they have on these days.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite cartoon was Tom and Jerry. It was terrific. I still watch it if its ever on. I also like Arthur, The Big Comfy Couch, and Scooby Doo. However, my favorite was definitely Tom and Jerry.
ReplyDeleteI loved watching the big blue couch when i was little. It was this show were this clown girl had a huge couch and she pulled toys out of it and sang and danced all over the place. It was a very ammusing show not that anyone now knows what it is but i really liked it. I think it was just more interesting to me then the disney cartoons.
ReplyDeleteI went through a lot of stages. I had different favorite cartoons, depending whether they were my favorite when I was really little, or my favorite when I watched cartoons with my little sister. I'm on the same boat as Teren with the whole Blue's Clues thing. I was ticked off that Steve left. But I heard he committed suicide?
ReplyDeleteWhen I was little: Blue's Clues, Barney, Bugs Bunny, Casper the Friendly Ghost
When I was older but my sister was little: Arthur, The Big Comfy Couch, Teletubbies, Dragon Tales
I would watch these cartoons anyday, if I had time. :(
My favorite cartoons when I was little were:
ReplyDeleteThe Big Comfy Couch, Arthur, South Park, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Dragon Tales, The Jetsons, Rocket Power, The Rugrats, Catdog, Angry Beavers, Scooby Doo, The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Spongebob Squarepants, Kim Possible, etc. (I can't think of all of them.)
My favorite cartoons now:
DORA THE EXPLORER! :D, Family Guy, Futurama, South Park, Robot Chicken (I don't know if you'd consider that a cartoon). That's about it.
I usually watch something on the Discovery Channel that has to do with medical mysteries and stuff like that. And I really like the History Channel.
I loved the Wild Thornberries because of the travelling and everything! I always wanted to go where they went and I loved how educational it was! I also love little bear, rocket power, and PB&J Otter! despite the constant creepy thoughts about telletubbies, i actually think its kind of cute haha..the baby sun is adorable...and i liked arthur....tom and jerry! yeah i would definitely watch the cartoons anytime!
ReplyDeleteWhen I was little I was crazy about the Jungle Book! I had it on video and I watched it so much that my mum had to buy me a new one TWICE haha. I refused to watch anything else.
ReplyDeleteNowadays I’m kind of tiered of the Jungle Book, I can watch it but it’s not as good anymore. I guess it’s a kid thing :)

I didn't watch a lot of tv when I was little, so instead we watched Disney movies. My favorites were The Lion King and Pocahontas. I even had a Pocahontas dress that I would wear for days on end. I still love Disney movies. I don't know why, but I would always choose a Disney classic over anything else.
ReplyDeleteThe main cartoon I watched was Arthur. I watched it all the time when I was little. I don't really know if I would still watch it, but I imagine I have grown out of it. But I watched this all the time before we had cable and all we had to watch was public television, so yeah, not to bad for free tv.
ReplyDeleteI watched Arthur a lot when i was young. As I got a little bit older, anything on Cartoon Network seemed to please me. Now my favorite one is probably Spongebob! I always enjoy a good episode of spongebob!
ReplyDeleteHa whoops I forgot my name on the one above!
