Have I ever picked up a hitch hiker? No. When I went to Cali I took pictures of hitchhikers with there thumbs out though :) I have however seen a student won't say name that doesn't have proper foot attire to walk home out in the country so I have given them rides home. I'm way to scared of being abducted-killed to ever do such a thing. Not that anyone would want to abduct me. Who knows what you would be letting into your vehicle! Common sense, don't pick up strangers!
I've never picked up a hitchhiker. I definitely never would if I was alone or if I was driving children somewhere. I might if I happened to be travelling with a close friend or relative who happened to be a very large, strong man. Even picking up female hitchhikers would be risky. I read, "The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" and really liked it, though. Maybe if I was in that situation, I would be okay with hitchhiking.
I have never picked up a hitchhiker before. I almost gave one food though because I got this really gross sandwich from a fast food place and did not want it. I do not know that I would ever pick up someone off the side of the road unless it was somebody that I sort of knew. Under certain circumstances, maybe I would but they would have to be pretty bad in order for it to happen.
I have never ever picked up a hitchhiker. I never will either I do not think. You never pick up a stranger on the side of the street. I have this fear of picking up a hitchhiker and he or she would probably kill me, take my car, and all of my possessions. Like Abby said, if something like the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy happened, I would most likely pick up a stranger in my flying UFO and save them from the Earth which should be crumbling if I take my space ship out. :)
I have never picked up a hitchhiker, and I never plan to pick one up under any circumstances. I am not willing to judge them based on their appearance and assume that because of the way they look, they are not a dangerous individual. Although I am sure there are many circumstances under which I would not be encountering someone dangerous, it is just not a risk I ever intend to take. I've seen too many movies. Like the seven-minute abs guy from There's Something About Mary.
I haven't picked up a hitchhiker, but I have stopped to see if people needed help before. my mom has picked up people that we know before, but I don't think I would ever want to pick up a random person that I didn't know.
I dont remember if I have ever picked up a hitchhiker but my family might have when I was little. I would totally pick up a hitchhiker. I am generally a pretty trusting person to the point of being stupid. I almost did it the other day driving out of town I saw a couple carrying their belongings. But I was alone so I didnt. If I had someone else in the car who has a little more muscle mass than I do (which, i understand, is not saying a lot) then I totally would.
This blog topic literality made me Laugh Out Load!! I have not, and never plan to, pick up hitchhikers. I see do not seen them very often around here. When I do see though around here, I feel bad for them but they look dangerous and scary. I will never pick up a hitchhiker under ANY circumstance! I have been to Washington DC like 6 times, and there are a lot of hitchhikers and homeless people. Even more then there is Europe, there are homeless people EVERYWERE, expectably in Paris.
I have never picked up a hitchhiker and I never will. Some of them may be legit and nice people but you never know what your going to run into. I would not risk picking someone up off the side of the road when I know the dangers of what may come.
I have never picked up a hitchhiker and never will. I am deathly afraid of being abducted, killed, raped, etc. There are too many crazy people in this world. It is a big risk picking up strangers and I don't intend taking that risk. An incident happened where I could have been taking and it scared me to the point where I have flash backs. I have trouble trusting people, nonetheless a complete stranger who says they are homeless.
I myself have not picked up a hitchhiker, but my parents did once. Although, there was an exception, because the person that they picked up was our babysitter, so it was someone that they were familiar with. I would not pick up a complete stranger, but if it was someone I knew that needed a ride, I would help them out if I could spare the time.
I have never picked up a hitchhiker before and I never will. I know that there are a lot of crazy people in this world and I am not willing to risk my life in that way. There are just too many things that could go wrong. I know I would feel really bad though, I hate not helping people becuase it might put me in a dangerous situation. But, you've got to do what you've got to do and I know I would not be able to defend myself while driving a car.
I have always thought about doing this! I think it would be quite pleasant. In movies, hitchhikers are always nice people who just need a lift. I think it would be quite an experiance to pick up a hitchhiker..as long as they don't have a gun.
I'm going to guess that almost no one has picked up a hitchhiker, including myself. I never would because I know that there are some odd people in this world. Knowing this, if I were to pick up a hitchhiker, I could be putting my life at risk... And why would I ever want to do that?
