Well, I am not really one to give advice because I don't want to be blamed for anything. Someone could easily use your own advice against you in this world today. However, if i were to have to give advice to someone, it would probably be to God. I would give advice to him because I know he would listen to what I havbe to say and not use against me later. He woudl probably give me advice in the process of expressing my own.
I don't know who I would write a letter to, but I don't think I would give advice. Instead of giving advice, I would probably give encouragement. Sometimes, people dont' need advice becuase they already know what they did wrong. Sometimes people just need encouragment because advice can kind of sting if it is given in the wrong way. ttfn ~Danielle
I would write a letter of guidance to one of my friends. No matter what their problem involves, I'd just lend them an ear. Sometimes I think people can often solve their own issues by listening to themselves state their own problems. I'd also encourage and uplift them. That would be my two cents to any situation I every come across: an ear, some encouragement, and some uplifting :)
I would write a letter of advice to myself. I would tell myself not to be so afraid to go to Colfax because the people are really nice! I would tell myself to not be so mad at my parents for not letting me go to Menomonie, because now I know that they made the right choice. I would also tell myself to wear my gym uniform so that I wouldn't always get in trouble. I would tell myself to enjoy every moment with my aunt and uncle. Because now those memories are all I have, and I wish I had more of them. Also, I would advise myself to join cross country as a freshman, instead of going out for volleyball. I would definitely tell myself to never run around in my room, so that I wouldn't break my foot! :) I would also tell myself to listen to certain advice from other people that I didn't listen to, but now I know that I should have. Overall, I guess I would advise myself to make the most of every moment, to not sweat the little stuff, to not be so hard on myself, and to not be afraid of new things!
My letter of advice would be to United States. Today in Advanced Physics we were discussing the metric system and our voltage system. We are the only country to not use the metric system and we are just about the only country that has 120volts, when 220 v is better. America needs to catch up with the times and do a little remodeling. My advice is for the U.S. to switch to 220 voltage and to the metric system. (Did anyone know that the metric system is our country’s official system of units, but we don’t use it?)
I would give advice to a bear to learn how to hibernate. I would tell him to find a good, safe place to bed down. Not in a cornfield. If he hibernated in a cornfield he could end up like all of his other cousins who got hit by a combine in the winter while they were sleeping. I would tell him to make sure that he ate a lot too so he would have enough to survive on while he is hibernating.
Well I am not sure who I would give adivce to. I guess I would give advice to whoever happened to need it. The only thing about my advice is that I never really tend to give advice to someone, I just try to help them through their bad times and maybe give them examples of a bad time that I went through that was similar to theirs and tell the person how I got through it. Just like Danielle said I think more people need encouragement than advice. I just like to help people out in any way I can even if it is just listening to what they have to say. Sometimes the only thing people really need is to know that someone is there for them and supports them and cares for them. I know I have a friends who I can talk to and they listen and care about what I have to say and that always makes me feel better knowing that someone truly does care.
I would write to President Obama and I would advise him not to make college so expensive. I mean, seriously? If anyone knows the reason why it has to cost over $40,000 to sit in class, then please tell me. Because in my opinion it is outrageous. We are encouraged to attend college, and studies show that people who have more post high school education have more success in their lives. The problem is, I would tell Obama, is that lots of people don't have over $40,000. But I don't really think he would even read my letter because I think that Obama probably has more important things to do. He is the president, after all.
If I were to write a letter giving advice, it would be to Casey. He should stop calling himself KEVIN. Now, in a few years, Mrs Meyers might seriously think that his name Kevin. Calling somebody by the wrong name is a very bad thing, because people forget the person's real name. What if, one day Casey wakes up and thinks his name is Kevin.

ReplyDeleteDavid; I'm intrigued. What advice would you give God?
