What chores do you have to do around the house? How do you feel about doing chores? What are the worst chores to do? What chores do you like to do? Discuss!
Personally, I absolutely HATE doing the dishes. I made an agreement with my husband - I'll do all the cooking as long as he'll take care of the dishes.
I really enjoy doing the laundry. The wonderful smell when the clean, warm clothes come out of the dryer is the best. :-)

well...I really don't do too many chores because I am never home. During the summer I will do laundry and stuff...but the dishes go in the dish washer. I clean my bathroom myslef, but that isn't too hard. I am not going to lie, Mom does a lot of stuff duringt he school year when I get so busy, but I always say thank you :)

Um, I don't really have chores that I do around the house. I basically just have to keep my room and bathroom clean. I used to have to vaccum and do the dishes, but I don't really tend to do that anymore. When I used to have to do the dishes and do the vaccuming I hated it. It was so boring and always seemed to take forever. If I had to pick a chore that I liked, it would have to be cooking/baking. Sometimes it isn't fun, but most of the time I don't mind cooking because it isn't that hard to do.
ReplyDeleteI don't really have "chores" that I am required to do, but its not like I have an allowance either. My parents have always just expected my sister and I to help and be part of the family, taking part in all household and outdoor tasks. I kind of like the way we do things. We all help out around the house and that's just the way it is. No allowance. Just everybody helps. I actually prefer earning my own money anyways. I would feel like a complete, dependent, mama's boy if I took money for the few things I do around the house.
ReplyDeleteI think it's kind of ridiculous how some kids get an allowance for ridiulously small tasks like taking out the garbage and puting dishes in the dishwasher.
In conclusion, I do chores, but am not exactly bound to them. I just do what I see needs doing, like dishes, gardening, lawn mowing, vacuuming, etc.
I don't really have specific "chores." I'm expected to keep my room clean and to sort recycling, but that's about it. I usually just end up doing odd jobs whenever my parents ask me. When I was younger, I had chores like vacuuming, doing the dishes, doing laundry, and things like that I had to do every week. Now I just do those things whenever they need to be done, or if I'm asked to do them.
ReplyDeleteya since i work all the time and buy all my own stuff, i really don't have chores, the only thing i have to do is keep my room clean or i got to pay a dollar for every day that its messy. My parents found that i more then likely will do more stuff if they don't assign it to me. Like there will be days where i will do the dishes for fun, because i want to not because i have to!
