So...obviously the stoic question didn't go over well yesterday. Only three responses?! I guess I need to try another topic.
Today I would like you to describe, using sensory details (sight, sound, taste, smell, hearing), a perfect vacation. Where would you go? Who would you take with you? What would you do?

I have three vacation spots I'd like to visit.
ReplyDeleteChoice #1 Denmark- I haven't visited Peter's family in awhile. Denmark has a real mild climate and has a real layed back culture. We'd go duck hunting and hang out in Copenhagen.
I'm sure my parents would like to tag along too ;)
Choice #2 Arizona-I've always wanted to go see the Brewers Spring Training in Phoniex. A noisy crowd, the crack of the baseball bat, and the vender's voice would make the perfect setting. The weather would be beautiful compared to the cold, wet weather of Wisconsin in March. I'd take my dad with.
Choice #3 Colorado-Some time I'd love to go to Colorado skiing and snowboarding with my friends. The air would smell fresh like evergreen. The mountain range would be beautiful. It would be a real peaceful vacation.
Oh Oh oh!! Id go to australia. I like that its warm and i love how the sun feels on your skin. Theres so many cute fuzzy animals. THe vegimite tastes horrible though. It kind of reminds me of chalk. I don't like it. I would want to see the outback and all the beautiful sites.
ReplyDeleteIdk this is a hard one to describe if you've never been there before.
o yea my dad would come with me.
ReplyDeleteI think I would like to go to Hawaii, I just want to go somewhere and sit there and not have to worry about homework, papers, presentations, projects, or scholarships. I would just sit on the beach and relax!(and maybe go shopping) I don't want to go somewhere I have to do a bunch of tours, and I wouldn't want to go to any big cities. I agree with Heather though, Australia would be pretty cool too. :)... I think I would like to bring all my friends and what not, but at the same time it would be nice to just be by yourself for,"like," one day of the trip. :)

Hm, I would probably, like Heather, go to Austrailia. I would love to see the kangaroos in the wild, and see cute little koala bears. I would also like to go to a warm place for a change, because Wisconsin is as cold as ice and I am always freezing here. I would want to go see the beautiful sites, and also see what the food there tastes like. Um, I would want to see how the people down under really live. I would definately take my friends, and maybe some of my family to enjoy the vacation with me.
ReplyDeleteI would like to go somewhere like the Bahamas or something. Someplace where it's hot and sunny and you can drink smoothies all day (YUM!) and lay in the soft sand. Then to cool off you could wade in the sparkling clear water and look for shells, go snorkeling, or even learn to surf (All things that I've always wanted to do!) Yea. That would be really fun. I would probably bring either a bunch of my friends, or my mom, dad, Brittany and Trevor. More than likely my friends :P That's my dream vacation!
ReplyDeleteThe place I would want to vacation is Alaska. I would start by taking an Alaskan cruise. In my free time I would go and hike on mountain trails. I would go during the summer soltice when it never gets dark. That would be the best vacation ever. As far as who I would take with, this vacation wouldn't happen until I am older, so I would take my wife and kids. The sightseeing would speak for itself, with the glaciers, mountains, and tundra forests. You could see Grizzley bears, Wolves, Elk, and all sorts of wild life. The smell of the saltwater ocean would be incredible, along with the sounds of glaciers dropping into it. It would be amazing!
ReplyDeleteIt would be nice to own some of that, so I could go hunting!
For my vacation, I would go out in my woods. For me, I cannot really ask for anything more than that. I am so interested in my surroundings that I am able to be occupied just by being out there. I would see wildlife, trees swaying in the wind, clouds rolling by, and the sun rising and setting. I would be able to hear the birds chirping, squirrels rustling around, and the wind rushing through the branches on the trees overhead. I would taste dirt. I would smell..............TREES!
ReplyDeleteI would love to go out west within the next ten years. I would take my boyfriend and we would go hiking and snowmobiling out in the mountains. We would come in from a long day of adventure to a log cabin with a fireplace. We would sip on hot chocolate and eat veggies and meat, probably mule deer or elk. We would be able to smell the fresh air and all of the trees, and sometimes be able to smell the wood smoke from the cabin's fireplace. We would be able to feel freedom and the wind up high in the mountains. We would also hear the wind blowing past us and through the trees. The best part of the trip is that we would not see anybody else. Out in the mountains and trees, and not having to worry about other people would be great. That is my dream vacation, just to go out west.
ReplyDeleteI don't have an exact locations of where I want to go. I would go somewhere warm, where I could feel the sun heating my skin. There would be an ocean with clear, blue, warm water. I'd lay on the beach and soak in the sun. I'd eat lots of sweet juicy fruits, like mangos. I'd also probably go to a spa and get massages, facials, and manicures. I would probably take my mom and four sisters. We could have a fun girls vacation!! If I did't take my sisters and mom, I would take my best friends.
ReplyDeleteI would go to Spain with Riley. It's one of my favorite places to go. I would site see, site see, and more site seeing. I would just relax and go on the beach and go dancing. I would also shop shop and more shoping. :)

My perfect vacation would be to a beach. The sand would be the perfect white kind and the it would stretch on for miles and miles. It would never be cloudy, but there would be a gentle breeze so it wasn't too hot. I don't know what it would smell like since I can't smell, but I assume it would be nice. :) I would take my best friends with me and leave the parents at home. We would stay up late and sleep in. It would be peaceful.
