How are your projects coming along? What questions do you have?
For our journal today, write about a time when you forgot something important. For example, I got to school today and realized that I had left my lunch on the counter at home. What did you forget? What did you do about it? What were the consequences, if any?

Usually, I don't forget many things. I write it all down on my sticky notes and they help me remember. If I ever do forget something, Mom is only a phone call away. :)

ReplyDeleteOne time I forgot that I had to work. I was supposed to clean Whitetail Golf Course Wednesday and Thursday morning before they opened and it was Wednesday night before I even realized that I had forgotten about it. I was going up the stairs when I thought about working and all of a sudden it dawned on me and I ran down the stairs to look at the calendar. I went in Wednesday night at 11 or 12 at night so I wouldn't have to get up really early :D I cleaned it super super good because I had forgotten about the previous morning. Bobbie Jo didn't say or call me about it, however I did tell her that I had forgotten and she was ok with it. I will never EVER forget about work again because it was the worst feeling in the world!
Um, well normally I don't forget very many things either. I have a very good memory. One time when I was like 10 I forgot my dad's birthday and I felt really bad. There wasn't a consequence other than me feeling guilty about forgetting his birthday. Since I forgot my dad's birthday a couple days later I bought him his favorite candy bar in the king size and I bought him a gift card to Fleet Farm. Oh and the project is coming along just peachy. I kind of still don't know what I am doing but I am just going along with the flow.
ReplyDeleteI forget a lot of stuff a lot of the time. Like when I left Riley's Ipod at my house and he wasn't too happy with me. Also when I forgot my phone on the table at the mall when we went on a movie date. Then after the movie my check book fell out of my purse and I left it on the floor in the movie theatre. Riley just wanted to get me home so he didn't have to babysit me anymore. Ya that wasn't the best night ever. Haha. Now I can't live it down.

I try to write down everything, because I hate when I forget things. I've never really forgotten to do anything big, but I do forget small things. I once forgot to do my Algebra 2, and I felt really bad about it. My goal is to just remember everything.

ReplyDeleteI remember when i forgot my note at home. It's like you know you have to remember it, but at the same time that makes you forget it. I guess nothing really happened because i called my mom and she just let me go home and get it. SO in the end it all worked out anyways! :)
My project is hard! :( I feel as though i have gotten no where on it! ughhhhh! I'm definetly going to be doing a major researching weekend!
ReplyDeleteI can be either very forgetful or not it really depends on the day. When I forget something though I work on trying to find ways to go without whatever it is I had forgotten!
I almost forgot something important today. I had a physical therapy appointment in Eau Claire this afternoon. I made it all the way into my car and put it in reverse before I realized I forgot to have a note written by their office to excuse me from school. I jumped out of my car and went all the way back inside and waited a long time to get the note. If I wouldn't have remembered to get it I would have had an unexcused tardy. Getting an unexcused tardy would have gotten me a detention. :p

ReplyDeleteI forget very minor things like band lessons and stuff. There have been times when my mom tells me to call her after I drive somewhere (she wants to make sure I'm safe!) but I sometimes forget. That makes me feel really bad because I know for a fact she was worrying about me when I didn't call right away. I apologize like ten times whenever that happens. :(
Last year one day I got to school and realized I didn't have my bag. It was in the fourth quarter and I had gone quite a while without homework, but the night before I brought home my bag for some other reason. I remember thinking in the morning that my bag was at school because I didn't have homework. After not having any of my stuff during first period, I couldn't take it and I called my Dad and he let me go get my bag along with all my school things. going through school without your stuff is impossible. because of my stupid brain lapse, I missed most of study hall and wound up having to take my backpack home that night again. The next day I remembered to bring it to school.
ReplyDeleteOne time before a baseball game I forgot my glove. We were half way to cumberland when I realized I forgot it. I stopped at Nathan's house to get an old one of his. Though it wasn't quite a glove, it still did the trick. Now before every game I go from top to bottom, making sure I haven't forgoten anything.

ReplyDeleteLately, I have forgotten the times that I start work, which is not good. My work calls me and I usually rush in five minutes late for work. They do not get mad. They just laugh it off. I have been slacking off on a lot of things in my life and I am trying to get things back on track because I am having a hard time in my life right now.
I ALWAYS forget about book reviews and book reports. I end up staying up super late finishing my book and typing my paper. I wish that I could remember to read, but I always put it off until I just forget to do it! Also, I always forget to do my laundry. So I usually end up staying up washing it so that I have clothes for school the next day!
