I like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (the original movie) because it is just so cool! I mean, who wouldn't want to eat grass?! And it's fun to see some of the weird and crazy things happen to those eeevil little kids :) I also like the movie Matilda because she is so nice.
I hate Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I love Matilda. I have not read the book, but I love the movie. Her parents are morons and she has these powers to do magical things. I like her teacher.
My favorite Roald Dahl movie is Matilda. When I was little, I would watch that movie over and over. I was terrified of the principal, Mrs. Trenchable. She was so mean and scary when she swung the girl around by her pigtails. I thought it was really funny when the boy had to eat an entire chocolate cake. Oh and the closet with the spikes on the door was really creepy. I loved it when Matilda learned the magic and started to be happier. The teacher, Mrs. Honeysomething was so nice. I though that it was very sweet when she adopted her.
The movie that I did not like at all was James and the Giant Peach. I was so afraid of that movie. I hated it. The rhino in the sky gave me nightmares and the huge talking bugs gave me the willies. I used to hide that movie from my sister so that she couldn't watch it.
My favorite book of Roald Dahl's is Gremlins. It's such a creative and kind of spooky story. He creatd an entire new world with the creature. The rules he invented for them were really cool. There were good elements of good and evil in all the characters, gremlins and humans.
My favorite book of Roald Dahl's is probably Charlie and the Chocolate Factory or Matilda. I really like the new version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory because it is just so creative. I love all kinds of candy, and all the different kinds of characters in the story.
I love Matilda. It has always been one of my favorite movies. I always thought all principals would be like the mean principal on that movie, but thankfully they aren't! I also really like James and the Giant Peach. It is nice to dream about the kind of stuff that James dreams about, even though some of his are very scary. ~Alexa

My favorite character is Charlie because the other kids are kind of annoying. I like this one because it is really entertaining! I really enjoy the movie Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. It really sparks my imagination as to if there were something similar to that. I think that it would be really cool to see an umpaloompa. I have never read the book, but I'm sure it is as good as the movie.
Well, to be completely honest the only Roald Dahl works I've ever seen or read are Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and James and the Giant Peach. With "The Peach" the only thing I really remember is that there was a guy named James and a big peach, because it is just one of those stories that my parents, according to them, read to me when I was young. So, by default, Charlie wins as my favorite Roald Dahl book.
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was my favorite, but a different reason. It wasn't really my favorite becasue it sort of scared me. In the movie and the book, bad things happen to the naughty kids that aren't realistic, but when you in 5th grade anything seems possible. The willies got to me after watching that movie especially when the oompa-loompa's came out singing that repititious, robotic song.
I enjoy the movie/book (even though i just learned its a book Gremlins. I like Gizmo the most he is very cute but becomes freaky when water gets spilled on him. Kenzie has a dog named Harley. However, I find that name to be innapropriate because it looks like a gremlin. So I properly named him Gizmo.
