June 7-13

I hope that everyone's summer is going well. If you get a chance to blog, I would love to hear how everyone is doing. Track girls: what a way to end the season! I can't wait to hear all about it. Those of you working your summer away: how's it going? Me: I'm golfing as much as possible. No big surprise there! I just finished reading: House on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet, The Count of Monte Cristo, Pride and Prejudice (again, for book group), Daisy Miller (again), I Am The Messenger, and Poe's Children. I'm not sure what I'm going to pick up next. I have a list a mile long from which to choose. How about you guys? Anyone reading anything good...or anything at all for that matter?

I hope to hear from you soon. I miss my seniors :*-)

P.S. Nathan, I have your Teen Study Bible (you left it here). How should I get that back to you?

I miss you!! And nobody has been blogging :( I think we're all busy... I have been anyway.
Track state was a BLAST! Our team score was 6th out of over 50 scoring teams. The 4x800 meter relay (Kortney, Brittany, Abby, Me) finished 4th. I got 6th in the 400 dash and broke a minute (59.91!) and our 4x400 relay (Ryleigh, Kortney, Jade, Me) got 4th as well. In total we broke 5 school records!! It was the perfect way to end the year, and everyone ran really well.
I also started working today at Cardinal. I weed whacked and pulled weeds and trimmed trees and I am pooped now. And it's only Monday!! :)
Well I hope more people start posting as we all get into the summer groove.
Oh, and I have not even touched a book since school got out, just to let you know :) I give you props and hopefully (once my mom stops freakin out about my graduation party) I may be able to find myself a bit of free time to do something besides cleaning my house.

  2. Amanda; I'm so proud of all you girls, and you should be proud of yourselves, too. What an amazing finish to a great high school track career!
