  1. I am looking forward the volleyball game and bonfire! I like watching all the skits! I am also looking forward to the pep rally and football game because we get to perform our bag routine! It will also be nice when this week is over because then I can stop worrying about all the dang homework and test we have been getting!

I haven't actually thought about it being our last homecoming. Now that you say that though, it is a little depressing and exciting at the same time! But I am not going to feel sad knowing this will be our last homecoming, I am just going to make it the best one! :D

  2. Well I love Homecoming! The other years I have sort of dressed up, but this year i'm going all out(as you might have seen). I love dressing up, and I love the "fear factor" food eating contest during lunch tiem. The homecoming games are always very competitive between the classes, so that is always fun! The skits and the bonfire is always blast as well! So this week is fun, other than the last couple days with the research paper, pop quizes, and the book report!!
I'm ready to stop sressing out, so I can enjoy Homecoming!!

  3. I'm enjoying my last homecoming very much! I have had a lot of fun dressing up. Yesterday was probably my favorite dress-up day because I got to wear my favorite prom dress. :) I'm looking forward to tomorrow night's volleyball game and bonfire. Those should both be really fun. I'm also super pumped for the game! I think our boys have a chance at actually winning! How amazing and memorable would it be if our boys did win against Boyceville?! Very! If you ask me. :) The games on Friday should be fun too, they always are. The rest of the week will be very fun! Especially because now that the papers are kind of out of the way I can enjoy myself. :)

  4. I'm enjoying my last homecoming as a high school student. Although all of the homework, tests, and papers are pretty much due today doesn't help for fun this week, I'm having fun. Last year I went all out and had a lot of fun. But now that I'm back in Colfax and I don't have very many friends yet, I'm not quite sure going all out would be a good idea... Last night I started decorating senior hallway and personally, I think it looks good for only having a couple people help me. I'm looking forward to the homecoming games because I think it's really fun to watch other people having fun. (: I'm not going to the football game on Friday night, nor am I going to the dance afterwards, but I am going to my friend's homecoming, so I'm really looking forward to that. (: (:

    Well, back to comp apps.

  5. I think it will be a cool homecoming. Homecoming is always fun. I'm gong to miss getting dressed up for dressup days, its not every day you get to dress up as Robin Hood or Ironman.I'll also miss watching the football games in the rain. The atmousphere of the school is great during this time and i'm really going to miss it. I am very excited for the bon fire, its one of my favorite things to see during homecoming, as well as the skits, because those can be quite funny. The dance will be good, I hope. Usually not many go to it, but I will be excited if they play all the random music I like to listen to. I just hope this years homecoming turns out to be the best so I have a good memory to keep in mind.

  6. I'm kinda sad that this is our last homecoming. The skits are always good to watch. And the competetions are always good to watch. The unique dress up days are fun too. You get to see all the cool outfits for the certain days. I'm looking forward to the game and hopefully it will be a good one for our team. It's kind of sad that it's our last year for homecoming.

  7. I guess I'm having a good last homecoming, but I won't necessarily miss it. I will miss the dress up days, but I feel like college homecoming will be more fun. My favorite parts of homecoming are things like the bonfire and the volleyball and football game. I guess I'm just really glad we'll get a break over the next couple of days.

  8. Wow, I didn't realize that it was our LAST homecoming...weird! I think homecoming is so fun because of all of the school spirit and unity throughout colfax. I am going to miss homecoming and high school in general. It is so scary to think that we will be on our own far from home in a very short time. Next year, we will realize the date and say 'wow, 365 days ago, i was wearing a bee costume'. I am ready to leave, but at the same time, I'm not. Homecoming rules!

  9. I am very excited for homecoming. I have not felt stressed out or anything, and the dress up days have been fun. My favorite part so far was the maple syrup chugging thing. It was extremely disgusting. I'm excited to watch the volleyball and football teams [good luck! :)] and I'm also really looking forward to our meet on saturday in Duluth. The End.

  10. I like to dress up for homecoming. I also like to dance at halftime! The atmosphere at the football game is always very exciting. I wish I didn't have to worry about my stupid Early Decision college application, because it's ruining my week. I liked being Peter Pan on fairytale day. I don't know what I'm being tomorrow. It is a weird feeling to know that we will never participate in another homecoming. That's it, it's over. It kind of sucks, but I guess it means we are growing up, which actually kind of sucks too. Well, I'm hungry so I'm going to eat.

  11. It’s weird knowing that this is our last high school homecoming. It makes me wonder how the last few years went by so quickly. It seems that it was only just yesterday when we were freshman, and now we’re already seniors. It’s very exciting, but a little sad at the same time. We’re growing up so fast!

There are a couple things that I enjoy about Homecoming. On the top of my list is watching the Fear Factor food-eating contest. I don’t know why, but I find it very entertaining. It just amazes me how the people who volunteer to take part in the event are able to do it. I certainly wouldn’t be able to it. Another thing that I like is when we have all the activities in the afternoon on Friday. It’s really nice to just take an afternoon off from classes to have a little fun.

  12. Well this is our last homecoming, but its going good. It's been a fun week and it's just going to get better. The bonfire will be a blast like always. The skits are always a ton of fun to watch. There is no way to complain about getting out of class for the afternoon either. Expecailly when that makes it so our paper isn't due till Monday. Homecomeing is always a blast and hopefully the game will do well. Sure this is our last homecoming, but it's going to be a lot of fun and something we will always remeber.

  13. The fact that this is going to be the last high school homecoming hasn't really hit me yet. I should have dressed up everyday and not just the one. I'm going to miss homecoming. Even after Friday's game I don't think I'm going to notice that next year I'm not going to be playing in our homecoming game but I'll be sitting in the stands watching it. That completely sucks. I can't believe it, for the longest time I wanted my life to speed up and now all I want it to do is slow down.

  14. Well it's exciting that I'm on royalty court because I never have been before. And I've never been to the Homecoming dance. I'm MOST excited for the dance routine though. It will be h i l a r i o u s. At the beginnign of the year I was sad about everything being my "last", but it already wore off. It doesn't make me feel sad anymore because I feel ready for it.

I hope we win our game Friday!

I also hope our skit turns out very comically :D

  15. It feels very weird to be my last homecoming. It actually kind of is depressing. I know everyone has to move on and grow up, but right now I don't want to. I hope that there are a lot of memories made this year. In sports especially because I do believe it is possible for more than one sport. I do not feel like a senior though. But rather than being down about it, I am going to be excited and celebrate the memories we make.

  16. My last homecoming was great. Except for the fact that we lost. The eating days were really funny. I'm not really depressed. I just want to graduate already. I do wish football wasn't almost over, but practice can end anytime

  17. Well it was amazing.i no its a little late but i feel like writing on this one. I thought this homecomming hit me more than all the others. Mostly becaue i'm not going to have another one here at colfax. I think for that very reason i wanted to have the most fun and i did. The other ones were just great to get out of class this one was really awsome.
