I realize that it's only been two days, but are you ready for the weekend? Do you have anything fun planned for your last long weekend for over a month?
Basically, I would like you to free write about anything you would like. If you have any questions about what you've read, the book reviews, etc., now is the time to write about it. If you don't have any questions, you can journal about anything.

Caitlin~ Do the best that you can with posting. I know from personal experience how hard it is to find time to get on the internet while traveling.
ReplyDeleteToday, I'm going to Seattle to see the space needle and the public market. Tomorrow, I think we're going to the coast to see the ocean (something I've wanted to do for a while now.). Sunday, we're going to the mall. (:
ReplyDeleteI have a few questions about the book reviews. Would it be possible if we could choose books that aren't on the reading list? If we find British authors that aren't on the reading list, would it be okay if we checked out one of their books and you approved it?
As for the reading in the book, what page were we supposed to read to? I brought my book, I just kind of forgot which pages we were supposed to read... Oops! (:
I wouldn't really consider three days a long weekend, but I plan to go goose hunting with my bff Matt. i will also catch up on sleep, because getting up for school is not the best part of my day. I am also going to the Minnesota state fair with my family on Sunday .
ReplyDeleteWell, this weekend I'm going to my aunt's. And I will go to work at the world famous DQ!
ReplyDeleteI'm relieved that Mr. Dachel finally approved my work release. I was so nervous he would deny it, for some reason.
Anyone else feel weird that we're seniors? I'm already freaking out because I will be a legal adult in the next month...Ahh.
Well this weekend I plan on going shopping with my mother and Sarah. I think i'm also expected to clean the house and give my dog a bath but other than that i don't really have anything exciting going on. My parents are trying to get me to slow down with the running and traveling since i'm back in school now. Its no fun but i guess it should pay off in the end I hope! As for everything homework wise i don't really have any questions yet but i'm sure a few will come up sometime soon.
ReplyDeleteRight now i'm working on reading at Mists of Avolon but i might not finish that one by the deadline so i'm starting a shorter book now to and hopefully i'll be able to finish that one. Mrs.Olson just asked me today if i would be interested in being a libray helper 5th hour so i might take her up on that offer next week. Other than that nothings really happened. Lets hope that school doesn't get to over welming just yet. :)
Teren!! I am also going to the Minnesota State Fair with my family on Sunday! What a small world. Anyway, this weekend, other then the Minnesota State Fair, I am running in the Buck Shot run in Eau Claire with my dad. I wasn't too thrilled when he told me he had signed me up. Other then that I am just going to relax and catch up on some much needed sleep.

ReplyDeleteBesides getting started on my paper about my summer for Spanish III and my persuasive Modern American History essay, I won’t be doing a whole lot this “long” weekend. Even though those aren’t due until sometime at near the end of next week, I’d rather take advantage of not doing much this weekend and just get them done.
ReplyDeleteIn addition to writing up those papers, I plan on starting Victor Hugo’s Les Misérables this weekend. I bought the book this summer, but I never did get the chance to sit down and read it. I’m looking forward to reading it as the choir did a medley of songs in the musical based off the book a few years ago.
Yeah. That is pretty much what my weekend is going to be. Pretty lame, but I really don’t mind. I need to catch up on sleep as well. My bed misses me!
(Sorry about needing to delete my post and repost again. I accidentally clicked 'Post Comment' when I wanted to preview it.)
Since I am in Youth Options, I haven't been school too much. After the game in Lake Holcombe I plan on staying at a friend's cabin. Sunday I might head to the cities to see my sisters and possibly go to the MN State Fair. Other than that I plan on relaxing before the (somewhat) longer school week.

Tonight I went to my friend's house and we did some amazingly fun things such as feeding kittens and singing lion king songs. Tomorow I plan on running and heading to plum city. Sunday I will run, go to church and catch up on both sleep and homework. Monday I will most likely run again and then I'm heading to Lacrosse to meet up with my cousins. I also plan on reading my book, Population 485 by Michael Perry. For anyone who cares, it's a GOOD book. He is from New Auburn and is an amazing writer.
ReplyDeleteAnyway,
There's a crack in the desert in the caramel sand
that's exactly like the cracks in the palm of a hand
there's a crack down the middle of a crowded city street
from the pounding and pressure of thousands of feet
the cracks on the hand and the cracks from the feet
the cracks in the desert and the cracks in the street
The End.
Well, I just found out tonight that we have our first paper due next friday! After freaking out about that, I enjoyed the football game in Lake Holcombe with my friends. WE WON! I don't think I am ever going to get over getting to say that! :)
ReplyDeleteSaturday I have to work, but once i'm done with that i'm visiting my grandparents and hanging out with a friend. Sunday will be pretty booked becuase my aunt is coming home from Colorado! I'll be seeing her most of that day and then going to a friend's house. Sounds like it should be a great weekend! Oh and I will also be fitting running in the mix. :)
Kortney
Last night I went to the football game in Lake Holcombe with some friends. It was exciting! Like Kortney said, WE WON! :D Today, I had to help my grandpa with some stuff and then I went to Menomonie. I got a new TV! Tomorrow my parents are going up to the cities to visit some relatives, so I'll be home alone. I'll probably catch up on some reading and sleep. Monday, I might go on a very long bike ride with my mom. I'm not sure yet though because last time I did that we ended up riding 44 miles! That was too long.
ReplyDeleteAnd of course in between all of that I'll be hanging out with Erinn :)
Mrs. Myers, I was actually wondering if this would be considered late? I wasn't sure if we had to post it by last night or if we had all weekend.
Christina (and everyone); Friday posts won't be considered late until Sunday night after 6 p.m.
ReplyDeleteI was wondering if you posted anything on the weekends, so I checked yesterday morning and this morning and there weren't any new ones. I'm assuming that the posts will just be during the week...
ReplyDeleteThis weekend I don't have very much planned... but I think I'm going to get a start on my social problem assignment. I also have to work on my college application essay. I am definitely going to catch up on sleep too! By the way, I heard that we won the football game. That's exciting!

Didn't and don't have any big plans for the weekend. Friday we went out for my sister's birthday,Saturday we ran some errands, Sunday nothing, and Monday a little shopping in Eau Claire. Also going to try and catch up on my sleep.
ReplyDeleteMcRae
Woah! so this is late? I figured that because of the long weekend, it would be due tomorrow? I won't be at school tomorrow though I am headed to Chicago.
ReplyDeleteThis past Friday, I went to the football game! We won! That was a very fun game! Saturday and Sunday I took some senior pictures of Jenni, Samm and Christina!
Erinn
Well my family and I went to our cabin after school on friday. Its about a mile away from Lake Superior in the small town of Port Wing. They host a fish boil every year on labor day wweekend. It was quite delicious. I took Ryan Larson with, and we explored the shores and wandered around town. We came back on sunday and went to a The Expendables which was awsome! Then we went to Wal-Mart and wandered the store looking for random items. Monday I checked up on my trail. I was going to work on it, but the bugs were so bad that we had no choice but to leave. It was a really good weekend.
ReplyDeleteBenjamin
Mrs. Myers, I'll be on the road tomorrow, so I'll do tomorrow's blog when I get to school on Wednesday. (: See you then!
ReplyDeleteSo i completely blanked that we had to write on monday, since we didn't have school that day. Anyways I had a fun and relaxing weekend. Erinn finished taking my senior pictures, I went shopping with my mom, and I took excessive naps! It was nice having a long weekend! It should probably become an every weekend type of thing!
