Play "what if?" Write down some ordinary or preposterous questions, such as:
-What if the world were square instead of round?
-What if no human being had the sense of taste? What if only one or two people did?
-What if someone invented a device that would do all the jobs you hate to do?
-What if people walked on their hands instead of their feet?
-What if dandelions were suddenly considered to be like gold, the most valuable substance?
Write a short story or poem in which one of your "what ifs" came true.

After the population of humans died off, the mighty giraffe race stepped forward.
Their leader of the pack, Jaque, ordered to be civilized. Giraffes lived in the human's houses, except there was one problem. They could not fit. So they had to replace all the human's houses with giraffe-friendly houses. These new, improved houses looked normal at first sight. Except if you were to take a look at the roof, there were giant open spaces for the giraffes to poke their head through.
It was a funny sight, to see these giant creatures trying to drive cars. Surprisingly, they were really GOOD drivers.
The males wore ties to work, and females wore cute little bows and skirts.
"Organic Place", a restaurant, replaced Texas Roadhouse and other meat-serving restaurants.
Jaque made a law against carnivorism, and even forced the tigers out of their meat-eating addiction.
The carnivores went through withdrawals, but thankfully, Jaque had counselors ready. Soon, everyone in the world were plant-lovers.
The world was a happy place. :)
What if we could fly?

I woke up. It was early, but i had to get to work, because i had to finish a presentation for my boss. I warmed up some coffee, had some toast and went outside. I said hello to my neighbor Jim, then hopped onto my dragon and flew to work. It was a nice flight, except for some punks on their red tattooed dragon that kept blowing fire at the traffic infront of them. I parked my dragon, and went inside. Sometimes I wish there was a simplar way to get from one place to another.

Well after i won at the stae bowling compitition i was walking home when i relized i was under water. I looked around and everything was the same except that we were under the water. It was the most amazing experience of my life. I could swim everywhere and fell my ears popping and then i grew a tail it was so fun just to be free to swim and not have to breath. Everyone looked the same and no one was differnt. Then i woke up the my sister jumping on me. Well the dream was nice while it lasted!

I always knew that there was something about everyone that was a little bizarre. But everyone else’s weirdness was nothing compared to what I could do. Actually, it was more like what I could NOT do. From the very day I was born, I never slept a single day in my life. I was like freaking Edward Cullen, but better. I totally didn’t sparkle like that fairy vampire. The whole idea of sparkling vampires that never sleep makes me want to gag every time they’re mentioned.
Anyway, there isn’t a whole lot to do if you can never sleep. It is pretty cool at times as there is no worry at all about not having enough time to do something. With being up 24/7, you can do everything you could possibly imagine and more. That’s pretty cool, right? Yeah, I’d say so too. Everything about never being able to sleep is all fine and dandy … until you have absolutely nothing to do.
How I manage to do it, I haven’t got a clue. I suppose I have the internet, television, and my huge library of books to thank for keeping me entertained all these years. I’d probably be crazy without them. They are pretty good distractions from thinking about those fairy vampires or what it would be like to actually sleep for hours…
What if I never had to write
