Only two more days and we're into December. The school year seems to be flying by quickly! Well, at least it seems that way to me.
I hope that everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Since it's Monday, you know what that means: free write!

I had a good thanksgiving. My cousins came over and we had a big meal and lots of pie. We played outside in was the snow. My brother was home and he was busy with some paperwork because he is going to France for 4 1/2 months in January. I am very very jealous of him! Anyway...on Friday we got a Christmas tree at the tree farm and we decorated it on Saturday. I love Christmas!
ReplyDeleteThis weekend was great, and I did not want it to end! Wednesday I got ready for Thanksgiving and went to see my baby cousin. Thanksgiving was good, but somewhat boring. Then Friday and Saturday were occupied with my race in Kenosha and Sunday I finally saw Alex. And on the way to Kenosha I wrote this poem. The End.
ReplyDeleteHow wrong is a wrong until it is right? Miles wide and miles tall?
Wrongs cannot be reversed overnight if they can be reversed at all.
A broken heart is always somewhat broken, punctured, cracked or frayed.
Time cannot heal everything, but time can numb the pain.
A broken wrist does not stay broken, but it may always remain weak
And this writing causes pain, so it is easier to speak.
A broken vase is always shattered even the strongest glue
Cannot make it whole again, cannot make it new.
The old are never young again, youth cannot be relived.
And the things they did, the things they learned, are all they have to give.
A broken life is never whole again the glass is but half filled.
Half of life is living still and half of life is killed.
My weekend was awesome! Wednesday was a really nice lazy day. Thanksgiving was fun. I went to both of my grandparents house and I went to Justin's grandma's house. I met the rest of his family and they're great! :) Saturday we had a basketball scrimmage and it went well I think. Sunday we got our Christmas tree and decorated the house. It was a good weekend! Oh! Today is my birthday! :)
ReplyDeleteThat break was great! Wednesday I just lazed around and did absolutely nothing. Thursday i went to my Aunts house for Thanksgiving, my whole family was there. Friday I went shopping with my sister, I was along for the ride, I didn't have money to spend. Saturday I had a basketball scrimmage, I thought it went good! :) Then on Sunday my mom and I drove to the Dells for this All-State volleyball banquet, which was nice. Then after the banquet I met Ty at the Stout boys game. I would love to have a break that long every week! :) Wednesday is the first hint of Christmas!!!

My weekend was pretty exhausting. Wednesday was my birthday, but I didn't get to do much for it because of the weather. Thursday I went to my grandma's. That is always fun! :) Later that day my other grandma and aunt came over. Friday, Saturday, Sunday I worked. Boy, it was exhausting! By Sunday night my feet, my knees, my hips, my legs, everything hurt. I stood on my feet for 30 hours this weekend. And now I think I am getting sick.
ReplyDeleteThe End.
My weekend went pretty well. On Wednesday, I went to the mall and got to see my mom for a few hours. Thursday was Thanksgiving at my cousin's house. Friday I had to work. Saturday I had to work. Yesterday I went to Chaos and Action City. It was a blast!!! (:
ReplyDeleteI don't want the weekend to end!! We have three full weeks of school (unless we get snow days!!) and then we get 12 days off for Christmas break. My weekend started out a little slow but then it started to pick up speed on saturday. I can't remember much of what I did on Wednesday, but Thursday I went to my Aunts for a Thanksgiving meal. She makes everything homemade so it's all delicious. We got home around 10 that evening and got up a little after 2 to go Black Friday shopping. We were shopping till around 11 in the morning. Then we went home, unloaded all of our purchases, then a couple hours later, we went back to Eau Claire to see a movie. On Saturday I slept in and saw another movie. Sunday I worked on college essays.
ReplyDeletewell long weekends are always good.. mine flew by way too quickly. I got some essays done for college but now I am hard at work at my applications again. I spent a lot of time with my sister over break and I can't wait until christmas!
ReplyDeleteThis weekend was pretty great. On Wednesday, I worked all day then on Thursday we had Thanksgiving at our house. It was nice to see everyone again. Then on Friday I worked again. So then I worked again saturday so i got quite a few hours last week. After I got off I went to Menomonie for some car parts. I got home and realized they gave my the wrong part after they specifcally said it would work. oh well. but the real one was out of stock so i get that on wednesday. so after that ordeal I watched the Badger game which was awesome. Then on Sunday I went to church and then hung out with some friends. We all got together and played some music for the afternoon so that was fun. Then I went to youth group and the weekend was over just like that. I wish it would have lasted longer!
ReplyDeleteI guess my weekend was pretty good. Thursday was, of course, Thanksgiving and my sisters and brother had a hard time even making it to our house on Thursday because of the weather. Friday, my mom, aunt, sisters and I did the whole "black friday" shopping routine. Saturday was a relax day where my sisters, my mom and I went out to eat and went to a movie. Sunday was our second Thanksgiving with my moms side of the family. Although it was a fun weekend with my siblings it's nice to have the house to myself again.
ReplyDeleteI had a very good Thanksgiving holiday weekend. We ate lots of good food and had a great time watching football and movies at my aunts house in Madison. They have a very nice house, with lots of neat things like a pool table and a giant television. We also went to La Crosse and had another small get together with family and ate all sorts of yummy things. I also got to go bowling and get my haircut. I am very excited for the Christmas season. The atmosphere is so wonderful and makes you feel so warm and fuzzy when you see the lights and the snow. I do hope we have a snow day soon. I know we just got back, but it is such a good feeling to be home when you could be at school. It is also fun to have a break in the middle of the week. Some people were talking about storms for casted for this evening, and that got me thinking, how awesome it would be to see a snow thunderstorm, or a snow tornado. That would be so amazing! This week feels like a fun one and I think it will go by quite smoothly.

My Thanksgiving weekend was pretty good. Wednesday I basically spent the day cruising around with a few friends of mine; Thursday I pigged out; Friday I finished the rest of my college applications; and on Saturday and Sunday I pretty much relaxed. Didn't really do a whole lot. It didn't really hit me at how fast the weekend was flying by until Sunday. I wish that it could have been longer. Even though we literally just got back to school from our longish weekend, I'm ready for another break. But, I suppose, we'll all have to wait a little bit for that to happen. On a lighter note, Christmas is just around the corner!
ReplyDeleteI find holidays to be depressing. Especially the recent and upcoming ones.
ReplyDeleteMy family doesn't do anything for Thanksgiving anymore. But I ate a few pieces of pumpkin pie (my favorite).
Our first basketball performance is this Friday, and the following Saturday is our first competition (Menomonie). I'm nervous/excited.
I'm stressed out by many things. Sometimes I feel that I just stress myself out. I recently started taking sleeping pills to help me sleep at night because I'm paranoid and wake up a million times at night, checking the time, afraid I'm sleeping in or forgot to set my alarm, or worried that someone is trying to get a hold of me via cell phone. I'm a little crazy.
Also, Sean is leaving for basic training January 10th for the army. So soon after Christmas...I'm dreading for the holiday to come.
Another thing I'm stressed out with is school. I wish I could transfer to English 12. I feel like I don't belong in College Prep English. I read the book, but I just don't understand what I'm reading. Then comes a quiz/test...and according to the horrible scores it looks like I'm a careless student who doesn't do their homework. Then there's the book review due this Friday, on top of the many other stressful things going on and I have trouble reading. I really do.
i'm up really early today cuz of baking. I made you something i hope you will eat it. Anyways its been a long week. I was working a lot to get extra money for a phone. It was crazy on Friday. But other than that nothings new. I'm excited for bowling tonight though!
ReplyDeleteI had a good Thanksgiving break. I like the days off from school. For Thanksgiving, I went to Jadra's aunts house. It was a lot of fun. Thanksgiving night i went to Target at 12 to get a tv. It was extremely cold, and the store didnt open til 4. The long wait was worth it, because I got an amazing tv.
ReplyDeleteSchool is going by very fast, but I can't complain. Anyway, my Thanksgiving weekend wasn't too bad. I had to work a lot. Other than work all I got to do was go to basketball practice. I am ready for Christmas break already! School seems to be getting very stressful lately. I need a break from everything so I can just relax. Besides basketball of course, but a day or two off would be nice.
