I hope that everyone had a pleasant weekend. Did you enjoy the snow? Personally, this is all the snow that we need to get. It can stay for Christmas, and then be gone and the temps rise up to the 70s. However, I know that that won't happen. Hmmm...maybe I should move somewhere warmer...

My weekend was good. I went to a tea party for the girl scouts on Friday night. I don't really like tea, so I just went to see my cousins. I also found out that my cousin has to have surgery sometime this week because she has a tear in her sinus and spinal fluid is leaking out of her nose. ):

On Sunday, I took my cousin's daughters to see Tangled. It was sooooooooooo good! I love that movie. I can't wait for it to come out on dvd so I can get it. (:
Today, I feel sick, but I can't stay home because my dad is a jerk. ):
Haha, agreed Mrs. Myers. I love the snow and the winter but after January, it needs to go! The worst months are february, march, and april!
ReplyDeleteMy weekend was good! We got 2nd at our dance competition! Behind Prescott! We are all very excited! I am really really really excited for dance practice tonight because we are starting to learn the jazz routine! Also this week I will hopefully have everything submitted for one of my colleges :)...maybe haha
So this weekend was relaxing. Saturday I had a game at home against Hayward. We won by one point! Afterwards, a few of us went to Little Italys for pizza. Then Ty, Moriah and I went to the girls stout game. After that Ty went home and Carly came over and we made delicious ranch pretzels. On Sunday I went to church, came home and watched the Packer game, took a nape, decorated the house with Christmas stuff, then Corey and made best friend pillows, which tested our ironing skills! :)
ReplyDeleteOn Tuesday we have a game at Elkmound. I am super excited for it becuase Coach Starkey, my college coach, is coming up from NC to come watch!!! Afterwards I belive we are going to chill at the bowling alley!

I disagree, I love the snow! :) Anywho, my weekend was good. On Saturday I got up and worked, then had a basketball game against Hayward(We won!), then afterwards I got my nose pierced ( I LOVE it! ), and then Justin and I watched Iron Will. That is an amazing movie!
ReplyDeleteOn Sunday my mom and I went shopping. It was a lot of fun. :) On our way home we stopped at my Grandma's house and talked to her for awhile. It was nice seeing her because I haven't seen her in a long time. On Friday, I am visiting Viterbo and St. Mary's and my grandma is coming with us. It will be a lot of fun! :)
Snow! I had an awesome weekend! As erinn said we got 2nd at our competition, we were only beat by Prescott, which means we did excellent! And this week we start to learn jazz! I also cut my hair off, which is good because I have only ever had long hair, and it had to change at some point. Also, Santa visited me last night! It was shoe day, so my little brother and I left our shoes out and in the morning there were presents!. I got an chocolate advent calender, some tights and some more chocolate. Yippe! I love christmas season!
ReplyDeleteThis weekend I watched the girls beat Heyward and then Hannah came over afterwards. Before the game I had to plow our driveway...I was not thrilled. this week i have two games, one is tomorrow against Amery and the other is Saturday agianst Regis!! Then Friday I have a college visit in Ripon where i'll be meeting the football team and what not. So this week should be fun.
ReplyDeleteOn Saturday, I worked till noon and then I was going to go to the basketball game. But I fell asleep after I got home from work and woke up too late. So then I had to go to the dump for my dad. Then I came home and watched some college football for the night. I worked on my car a little bit, but realized I needed more parts than I thought I did. So I get to more of that this Saturday. On Sunday, I went to church and then to Andrea's. It was her brothers birthday so they had some family over. So we all just kinda hung out all day. Her other brother was being dumb with his car and got stuck in the yard cause of all snow so I got to help pull him out. We watched some of the Packer game and had a big dinner. Thats about all I did this weekend.
ReplyDeleteOn Saturday I went to and worked at the Quarter Auction. I was the person who drew the numbers. On Sunday I got up at like 5 and headed to Hudson to go bowling. The bowling alley there was super easy to to find, but if you ask Amanda, she will tell you that she got lost trying to find it. The lanes there sucked badly. When it picked up our pins, they dropped. We had to moves lanes even. Dalton broke the machine. After the bowling in the a.m., I went home to change then headed back to Colfax for league. For the rest of the evening I did nothing, except celebrate that Favre may be out of commission for a while.
ReplyDeleteI had a good weekend. I had a bowling tournament and did pretty good. I also watched Never Cry Wolf, which was a really good movie. I also noticed how much fun monopoly is. There are all sorts of different themes, and they all fit really good with the game. I would create all sorts of cool monopoly boards and themes. It is nice out this winter, but i think we need to get all sorts of snow pretty soon. I cant wait to see how the Christmas lights begin to appear during this time of year, it really makes it feel like Christmas and makes you excited to go shopping for gifts, or just have a hot chocolate and look out the window at the squirrels.
ReplyDeleteits way to cold out. I agree with you mrs. myers it should heat up i can't take this freezing weather muchlonger my goodness. mabye moving to texas would fix my problem. Anyweays i'm at work right now. No one is here so its pretty boring but i get to go bowling after this which makes me very happy. I finished sending out my college applications so thats good for me :D oh someone just came in YES well i'll talk to you tomorrow.

ReplyDeleteMy weekend was actually pretty great. Saturday the dance team had a competition which we placed 2nd out of 12 teams. (And of course Prescott is going to get 1st because they are unbeatable). Sunday I had dance at En Avant, and when I got home found out that I was accepted into UW Madison!!
Monday was a very tiring day for me. I left at six for Madison and then spent the day touring the campus. I liked the campus, but the coach wasn't that great. And I got home late, so that is why I am tired. Then on Sunday a girl from my church gave me a whole bag of clothes! Which made me excited. And the coach from Corpus Christi came and stayed for a few hours. Then I went running and watched the Grinch! I love the Grinch! The End.
ReplyDeleteI’m already wishing for spring. I do not like the chilly, drowsy weather of winter at all. I’m able to put up with it for a while, since Christmas just wouldn’t be the same without snow and everything. After that, however, it just needs to go away. Its times like these that make me wish I lived in Florida, where the temperature around this time of the year is just right. Definitely makes me consider studying abroad somewhere warm for college.
ReplyDeleteI. HATE. Winter. I hate the rushing in and out of my car to avoid the coldness. I hate having to scrape off the ice and snow off my car and be late. I hate having to drive slow on the roads. I hate how dirty my car looks from the weather. I hate how dry the air is. I hate being in my house and using 21240 blankets to stay warm, and complaining about the air not being hot enough.

All winter makes me want to do is sleep. I am not the biggest fan of it. The only positive thing about winter to me is there basketball! Anyway, the weekend was good. I had to work a lot and play basketball. I will just have to catch up on sleep during the school week. I hope all the snow there is leaves after christmas, but until then I do not mind it.
