  1. I spent my snowy weekend working! Crazy people acutally came out to the tree farm during the blizzard. They got to be long days. I only have one day left of work though! I didn't even get to play in the snow this weekend:( I woke up this morning and my feet were freezing! It's very cold in my house. I am most definitely not looking forward to walking from the parking lot, up the stairs, across the bridge, into the Tech building. It's going to be SO cold!

ONE WEEK!!! ONE WEEK!!! ONE WEEK!!! ONE WEEK!!!

  2. Well on saturday I took the ACT in Menomonie, every other ACT place in WI was closed EXCEPT Menomonie! Crazy! I almost got stuck multiple times on the way their and I couldn't find the parking lot once I got to the school! Somehow I managed to get inside where there were only 7 kids in our room testing-it was pretty nice actually. Afterwards, Jess, Mika, and I went to Perkins. We had to ditch my car after eating because of the pileup of snow! Yesterday my mom and I brought shovels to Perkins and dug out my car, and for the rest of the day, I worked on applications.

  3. I did nothing all weekend. On Friday evening we went to Eau Claire to do a little shopping before the big storm hit. On Saturday I woke up to over a foot of snow outside. I went down to our shed to look for a shovel and couldn't find a single snow shovel. My mom tried to get me to do a little Christmas baking but I didn't really do much. I choose to make supper instead. At like 9 in the evening, our neighboor came and dug us out of our driveway and even a little up towards our garage. On Sunday, my bowling thing was cancelled so we stayed home most of the day except to run to town to get a couple of shovels. Sunday evening I sat on our couch and watched the Indiana Jones movie marathon.

  4. Saturday I had to work. The roads were so bad, my mom and dad brought me to work and picked me up. You'd think that the store would have been closed but it wasn't. It was like the only one too! And surprisingly alot of people came in. Then that night I was snowed in, so I watched movies and read. Sunday, I spent about the entire day helping my dad plow our yard and the neighbors' yards. I got good community service hours! And I made $20 at one house! :) When we were all done with that, Jess and I played in the snow. We tried to go snowmobiling but it got stuck..oh well. :) Then I came in and wrapped presents and Justin came over. It was a good weekend. (Now I wish we would have at least one snow day this week!!)

  5. My weekend was spent in my house. I was snowed in for two entire days. All I did was watch movies and tv because my books were in my car, which was stuck under at least two feet of snow. I would really like if we could have at least one snow day this week! I really want to sleep in and play in the snow for an entire day. Drinking hot cocoa would be awesome too. (:

  6. Well I shoveled a lot over the weekend. I almost spent five hours shoveling. We also watched some movies and just stayed warm indoors. I was mad the Packers played so bad, but what are you gonna do? It was an exciting experience seeing all this snow. I hope that snow keeps coming, so we can have the biggest mounds of snow possible. I was going to build a fort, but it was to cold, and I also want it to get a little bit packier so it stays together. I was walking through town, and I could not beleive how deep the snow was. I'm glad I did not try to drive anywhere, because the roads looked really bad and just not safe. I am excited that christmas is almost here. I cant wait to see family and give presents and eat all sorts of good food.

  7. Saturday - My aunt brought me into work at 10:00am. It was a wild ride. Each lane was plowed, but there was a 5' snow bank between the lanes. So I couldn't turn into any businesses due to the snow bank...which meant it was impossible to get to work. Plus, my work's parking lot wasn't plowed, and every entrance was blocked by snow. My manager and her fiance came with their truck, and they tried running over the snow banks to make a path so I could get to work. It didn't work...so I just climbed the snow banks. It was so cold and crazy. Everyone was mad that work just didn't close due to the weather. Who is going to want to get a blizzard from DQ in a blizzard weather?! The other girl I was supposed to work with didn't show up because she couldn't get out of her driveway, so my manager ended up working instead. Also, we figured we would get no customers in this weather...considering it was impossible to even get into our parking lot. Every other business in Bloomer was closed...like Subway, Hardys, and I think Kwik Trip and Holiday. However, after our parking lot was plowed, our store made over $200, which was unexpected. Thankfully, my manager got a phone call from her boss and we were allowed to close at 3:00pm. THANK GOODNESS.

  8. Well I had a bunch of things planned for Saturday, but they all got ruined becuase of the snow. It was pretty awesome waking up to that much snow. My mom said that there hasn't been this much snow for around 15 years! My dad and I woke up on Sunday and shoveled the snow, which was very cold! Later that day my mom and I went Christmas shopping. The only sad thing about the snow was that I didn't get a chance to see Tyler! :/ ohh well he's coming with me to the boy's game vs. Regis! :) It should be fun!

  9. Friday we had a game in Plum City. Saturday I just stayed inside and went running, did my homework, made some cookies, cleaned, and wrote some stuff. Sunday church was cancelled so I went running again then shoveled until Alex came over. Then we shoveled some more and watched a movie. Later on I went to bible study at the Bogan's. I was really hoping for a snow day! Oh well. We still do not have a Christmas tree. I have a feeling we might not get one! Oh, and our heat went out on Saturday night so my house was about fifty degrees most of the day yesterday until my father could fix it. The End.

  10. So on Saturday I had to work. We almost didn't open at all, which wouldn't have been so bad since only like 15 people came in. But I could barely get out of my drive way and I got stuck pretty good on my way home. It took me like ten mins to get unstuck. But then I parked my car where in the driveway and it got burried. So then I just hung out for the rest of the day. On Sunday, I woke up at 9 and started snowblowing. I took care of our deck, sidewalk, and our neighbors. Later my dad and brother did the rest, but managed to break our two snowblowers. One hopefully be an easy fix, but the other one needs a two hundred dollar part so who knows what will happen with that one. After all that, I went down to Andrea's and hung out for the afternoon and helped them dig their driveway out.

Today when I came home I checked the mail and got my ACCEPTANCE LETTER TO MACALESTER. thanks mrs. myers for checking my essays! I was only one of the 69 students accepted for early decision! im soo excited! :D

  12. My weekend started off great! When I got home, my acceptance letter to UW-Superior came in the mail. Pretty thrilled about that (and my mum is happy that I’ll be getting out of the house – such a loving mother, eh? ;D), and that college applications are over with. Now it’s time to get cracking on those scholarships. Other than that bit of excitement, the rest of my weekend was pretty normal. If you don’t count the ‘Blizzard of 2010,’ that is. I, for the most part, slept all weekend and watched Christmas movies … until my dad got out the shovels.

  13. I spent all weekend finishing up college homework. Saturday during the snowstorm my mom and I walked up the huge hill behind our house, which was pretty fun. Sunday I went with my mom to the cities, and on they way home I started to get sick. So now, I'm sick. Which is terrible.

  15. My weekend was awsome to say the least. I do not remember me getting off the couch saturday for anything more than to go eat! It was amazing getting to sleep and watch movies all day. I haven't been able to do that in a long time! I do not like the snow anymore. It is too cold out too. When gets to be like 10 degrees, it is going to feel like a warm front! Anyway christmas is almost here, which means I get to pig out on lots of cookies and junk food!

  16. I spent my weekend inside. When it stopped snowing, I had to go shovel. On Saterday night, I played videogames with Aaron and Lewis. I was so sick of playing videogames by the end of the weekend. At 12 o'clock Saturday night, we decided to build a snow fort in my front yard. it's pretty ridiculous.
