This time of year I get wanderlust. If you could go anywhere right now, where would you go? Is there a particular destination or hot spot that you just have to see?
I would go to to the U.K. I want to go back to England and see the Lakes District. I didn't make it to Scotland and Ireland and I REALLY want to go there - especially Ireland after I saw Oliva K.'s photos from her study abroad.
So, where would you go? Why?

Oh wowww....Lately I have been thinking about how I really want to go to Europe. I've been looking at maps and trying to plan out the most efficient route. so far, I've come up with a few possibilites...The best one...but most money etc...would be to start in Norway(stay with Maria), then hit Sweden, go down through Denmark, to Germany(stay with Fatih's family), then to Paris(stay with cousins's family), (also...maybe go to london in between germany and france), drive through the french countryside into Spain. Then drive down spain to Gibralter and cross into Morocco! From Morocco I would try to catch a flight to Florence or Venice, and then to Rome. From Rome I would get to Malta!!And then from Malta I would fly to Greece and meet with Fatih and then go to Turkey to Bodrum where we would stay on the mediterranean. dang. that would be awesome.
ReplyDeleteUm well my mom is planning a trip to Germany to visit my uncle and aunt. I'm excited for it! I'm not going to get too excited though because my mom likes to plan a lot of things and then they don't seem to happen. BUT if this actually does happen I will be very happy! Our plan is to go to Germany and go to Cologne. Then we want to go to Switzerland and hang glide. We'll go to Paris and London too. We're going to see a bunch of castles and us girls are going to a mud spa (AWESOME!). But yeah that's all I know that we'll be doing for sure if we go. :)
ReplyDeleteIf I could go anywhere right now it would probably be any place warm. I just want to be able to walk around in shorts and a cut-off or no shirt for that matter. Florida, California, or the Bahamas would be my preferred places to go but it wouldn't matter to me if it was 70 and sunny and I had access to a pool. I wish it was summer so I could go to Jellystone:'(
ReplyDeleteThis is depressing because I can't actually go anywhere. But if I could, I would go to Nashville first, then keep traveling south until I hit the ocean. Then I would take a nice cruise on over to Australia where I would remain for eternity.
ReplyDeleteI really need to get away. I would go anywhere at this point. Anywhere that is at least out of Wisconsin. I would like to go somewhere warmer and just relaxing, so I can clear my mind and leave all my troubles behind, at least for a little while. I would really enjoy going to Maine or Florida. There I can just lay on the shores and listen to the birds and the ocean's tides lowly wahing up against the sand. I could go to a city, but that would not be my first choice, mostly because of all the people, I would just get stressed out even more. A relaxing trip sounds perfect at the moment, I hope we all get a chance to get a little break soon.
ReplyDeletei would go to someplace warm. Like Florida. I wouldnt want to go out of thew country because it is too big of hassle. I have already been to Europe, so I dont need to back for a while. I would also like togo to Texas to watch the Superbowl.
ReplyDeleteI would go back to Italy. I mean it wouldn't exactly be warm but for some reason i just really want to go back there. It was by far my favorite place i've ever went to in my life. Everything was so beatiful and it just put you in a awe. I would go back in a heart beat but i don't have the money.

ReplyDeleteI don't even like to talk about travel, because I just want to go somewhere sooo bad. It kills me. uughh
I would also like to visit Japan and Indian. I want to explore the citie, try foods and see all the different customs they have in their cultures.
It would be nice to go to someplace warm....but Florida is too....well it's in America and everyone speaks english and there are alot of tourists. I'd rather go to someplace where there aren't loads of American people.
Right now, anywhere but here would be nice.
ReplyDeleteBackpacking through Europe would be awesome, but right now, this day, I'd like to be somewhere warm. Like Aaron said, the Bahamas would be very nice. I'd also like to visit Northing California and Colorado, those area's. Someday I want to go to India and visit Our Lady of Fatima school my family help make happen and meet the little girl I sponsor. As of right now, put me someplace warm. I just want to be out of cold, icy Wisconsin and around new and different people I don't know.
Hmm…It would be really nice to see my friends in Sweden! But it’s so cold there right now, almost as cold as it’s in Colfax and I really looking forward to the summer! So right now it would be nice to spend a week or two in Thailand, I have never been there, but it’s a dream to go there someday. When you look at pictures of the beaches and the hotels there, it looks like paradise. Right now I just want the sun to shine and all the snow to be gone, it would be truly nice with some warmer weather to. That’s why Thailand is my hot spot right now, sun and a crystal blue sea, a book in my hand, the iPod in my ears and the world left outside.

I'd totally go to England, Italy, or New Zealand. Any of those countries I'd happily go to in a heartbeat. Since it is winter, I'd probably head on over to New Zealand if I could just so I could escape all the cold and winter mush. So ... yeah. =)
ReplyDeleteTraveling anywhere sounds great to me. I've never traveled much, and I feel like there's so much to this world that I don't even know exists.
ReplyDeleteBut right now, I want to go to somewhere tropical. I am sick of winter and dull, lifeless colors. I feel quite depressed at times from it. So I'm not going to be picky about a specific location...as long as it's warm, sunny, and on a beach. :D
I would go to Australia. I would go there and watch the Australian open! I love watching tennis!! Plus it is warm there, and I've always wanted to go there! :) :)

The top two countries on my travel list are Greece and New Zealand. I would probably do outdoorsy things like hiking and swimming. I wouldn't even touch my laptop or phone, and would only bring a camera. I will go to both places sometime, hopefully soon.
ReplyDeleteI totally want to back to Australia. It was super warm and nice and sunny. So right now it would be like the middle of their summer. When we went it was like 80 or 90 out the whole time. I would love to have a little bit warmth again. And going there would also mean I get a break from school because I could really go for one right now. I would also like to go to England just to see what it is like.
ReplyDeleteIf I could go anywhere right now, I would go to Florida. I just like everything it has to offer. It seems so relaxing down there all the time. The weather is warm this time of the year, but not too warm. You can go outside without ten layers of clothes on! I miss being able to walk outside without any shoes on. If I could have it my way, the weather here would be in the 70's all year round. This winter weather is killing me.
