We are going to play it forward today. I'm assigning the first person who logs on today to write the blog entry. Everyone who logs on after that will write that person's blog. Person number two - at the end of your blog response for today, write tomorrow's blog entry. I'll move it forward and post it as tomorrow's blog.

Today's blog is about fears. What are you afraid of? Do you have any "out of the norm" phobias? I'm afraid of fish, spiders, and my weird one is butterflies. I know it's weird, but I think they're creepy! Alright, blog away!! :)
ReplyDeleteI am afraid of the dark, or used to be. However, I always have the feeling that im being followed when I walk alone in the dark. I do not think I would be like that if scary movies did not effect me earlier in my life. I am also very afraid of frogs. There is something about them that makes me shiver. The jumpyness of them just creeps me out as well as their unpredictability.
ReplyDeleteDang it. I bet everyone logged on and pretended they didn't read the blog.
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm seriously afraid of spiders and bugs. Fireworks make me nervous because my grandpa is blind in one eye due to a firework exploding in his face. Oh, and I used to be obsessively scared of pigs but I'm somewhat over it. I still distance myself from them, though. I also had a stage where I was afraid of crows, but not anymore. Generally speaking, I have a fear of getting raped. I know it's weird, but I always worry about it. Like, if I was walking to my car at night in an empty parking lot...I get so freaked out. I think I watch too many movies. Other than that...I'm pretty much good.
TOMORROW'S BLOG: What's your most favorite YouTube video? Explain, please. (you may have to choose a somewhat appropriate video). One of my favorites is, of course, is the "Julian Smith - Racist Coffee" or "Julian Smith - Malk." The Racist Coffee is a music video about white and black coffee...and my favorite part is when they yell at an old man not to drink the racist coffee. The Malk video is about friends arguing how to pronounce "milk" and they all say it differently. Then they freak out and threaten each other...and the video cuts into one guy putting a cat in an oven. It's hilarious, just watch it.
I am frightened of moths. They totally creep me out. As a kid, if there was a moth in my bedroom, I would close the door and sleep on the couch unless someone would go kill it for me.
ReplyDeleteI HATE MOTHS TOO! I agree with kortney; butterflies are very creepy. I used to be very afraid of the dark when I was younger, but I pretty much got over that. Now I get scared sometimes when i imagine creepy things. Like this one time erinn, korteey, christina, ellie and I were driving at night down this creepy road called "lynch trail" and then they started talking about what if the car broke down and how they had seen a lean-to fort for a homeless man and what if someone came out with a chainsaw and tried to kill us all and we had to run away through the woods at night and if we paniced we would be caught. I started freaking out at them and yelling at them to turn around and they were laughing. I think it's funny now...but I get scared by things like that. It's probably because of my imagination...
ReplyDeleteI think all kind of insects is really grouse and I have a big phobia for it!! They are just so…creepy.
ReplyDeleteSpiders is the worst part of it, they totally freak me out.
And a funny thing; When I was younger we lived in a kind of old house and every night when I got home from practice I had to go down in the basement to put all of my stuff away. I hated it, I was really scared every time. I talked myself into the craziest stuffs, like I told myself that there was a murder hiding behind the towel. To get to the point, I sang to motivate myself to go down there, like the Pippi Longstocking song about who I was the strongest girl in the world, I told myself that that would make all the murders scared and they would go away. And guess what, I never got killed, paranoia can be a funny thing sometimes.

I hate moths too!
ReplyDeleteI am afraid of spiders, snakes, and deep water. I'm fine with deep water in pools, but lake or ocean deep waters scare me to death. :\ I must say, I am afraid of the dark, but I guess that's only if I let my imagination get a hold of me. I have a phobia of people staring at me. It's called Scopophobia. I don't like when people stare at me. I have stage fright, also.
I'm afraid of the dark and of spiders. I freak out when i'm left home alone and have to turn all the lights off also when i see a spider anywhere someone else has to kill it otherwise i throw a fit. Its just crazy
ReplyDeleteI really hate spiders. They just creep me out. I'm also not a fan of snakes either. Sure I don't mind them if they are at a zoo locked in a cage, but if I see one out in the wild I will just freak out. Most insects are not my favorite either. Just a few are ok.
ReplyDeleteI am terrified of snakes, harmless or not. No matter what - whether they are just slithering about freely or just laying there in a zoo cage - I always freak out when I realize that it is there. There is just something about them that creeps me out.
ReplyDeleteI am afraid of spiders and heights. I am afraid of dying from something stupid like a fire, or being bit by a snake or stung by a scorpion. I'd rather die from old age!
ReplyDeleteJenni Gust
I'm afraid of having peanut butter sticking to the roof of my mouth. Weird, right?
ReplyDeleteDrowning
ReplyDeleteBeing lit on fire
Being snapped by mouse traps.
But I'm not afraid of spiders or snakes.
I cry at the sight of spiders! Other than that I'm more afraid of being forgotten. I would rather do something that everybody would remember me for even after I die. I hate the feeling of drowning. I also hate walking through waste height water in the dark. I'm not afraid of the dark but I hate walking in water that I can't see whats at the bottom.
ReplyDeleteI am afraid of deep water, GETTING MY BLOOD DRAWN!snakes, sharks, feeling alone, and being a bad person.
ReplyDeleteI really hate bees. Its just one of those things I've always hated since I was little. I'm not sure, but it probally started one time when I was little and I got three of them stuff in the back of my shirt. That wasn't good. And I also don't like deep water either. Pools aren't a big deal, but I don't like it lakes very much if I don't have a life jacket.
ReplyDeleteI am with Andrew, I really do not like bees. I do not know why, I just don't. I wont freak out if I see one, but I know when they are around! I also do not like spider or snakes. I cannot stand the way they look! I will not touch one of them if I do not have too!
ReplyDeleteTom
I don't know that I have any fears. If I was in a scary situation I would have fear, but other than that I don't have any unreasonable fears.
ReplyDeleteMy next blog: What is the worst movie you've ever seen?
