  1. It's spring!
    The snow is melting and
    mud is all around
Things are ugly for a bit
but soon those will be lost and not found.

    Flowers are going to bloom
    and the bees will buzz
    birds will chirp
    bugs will flutter
    the grass will be green
    and everything will be better.

    haha:)

  2. well...i wrote this earlier in the year but....

The morning yawn sends warmth across my skin
so I open my window to let the earth in.

A final water droplet releases itself from the rooftop
And at that moment, all wintry chill is put to a stop.

The cool, clear water falls from my fingertips
And greets my toes with a tiny cold kiss.

I unwrap my body from the comforts of the night
And wander off into the seasonal secret colored by light.

I open my arms and am twirled to the above
Until I reach pastel meadows of infant daisies and flocks of doves.

Misty winds lift me up and whisper stories through my hair,
Twirling me round among the warm, crisp air.

Wandering petals of lilies linger softly before my eyes,
Blowing grasses sway with a low rolling sigh.

Overlooking the stream, a white wedding of blooms blossom upon a single tree.
Sweet flowers dance in the heartbeat of the noon
And through the clouds peak the first rays of the day,
Overtaking the shadows of the past moon.

    Silhouettes soar above,
Through all space and through a united sky,
I watch them soar and let out a familiar free cry.

    A vibrant sunset says goodbye,
    Setting only in the sky
    But never in my mind.

    As the air cools,
The fog thickens and the wind subdues,
The lightly colored tones turn into deepened hues.

I relax my senses and flow back upon the grassy bed that is pulling me in and resting my head.

    Over the hills,
    Beyond the stream,
Under the stars and in the trees
Rings life's song and I lay there and listen to it sing.

    As I close my eyes,
I inhale a subtle hint of spring.

  3. I am lying in the snow and watch the sky
The sun is shining and everything around me starts to melt away
I am flowing away with the wonderers of spring
A smile breaks out on my face
    I recognize this feeling
    Is the feeling of happiness
It is the feeling of spring.

  4. The snow is leaving, the sky is blue
Birds are chirping in the morning dew

    People laughing, squirrels playing
A few colds are still staying

The world is warm, and very bright
the flower colors are out of sight

The days grow longer, and filled with fun
Just to sit out in the sun

It is so relaxing, it makes me want to sing
In these wonderful days of Spring

  5. The flowers are growing
    as the wind is blowing
    The trees stnad high
    and the birds sit by
The larks are singing in the morning
    while people are groaning.
Spring is here and not to soon
the weather will soon get warm too.
The wonderful time of spring is at break of day
and the wonderful colors are on there way.
The hope for sun is finally here
and the snow leaving is finally near.
The lovely ground is showing all around
while nore people are getting stuck in the ground,
Still spring is here and not to soon
the weather will soon be getting warm too.

  6. Once I was a flake of snow, I was born in the sky and I fell into slumber on the backs of thousands of the same. I slept through the wind and the bitter degrees, packing tighter to peers for warmth. When alas, I awoke to the scent of a breeze that promised me sunshine and mirth. Slowly then, slowly my edges decayed, and I melted into a drop. Now a drop I remain in the sunshine of day, until my bottom gives way to my top. Away I will sink and away I will go and this is the tale I might tell. I first was a flake, I then was a drop, I now make my haven a well. :)

  8. sorry i keep forgetting to blog!

Hoorah! spring is on it's way
    and it sends messengers ahead
in the form of whistling birds,
    ringing bells,
    and sunshine on my bed

    Hoorah! winter fades away
and creeps back from the land
leaving in its path green hills,
    blue skies,
    and waters outlined in sand

Hoorah! Spring is on its way
and it sings promises of sun
    warming frozen lakes and creeks,
    undoing
what winter had so long done

  9. snow melting brings us all
    promises of better days with
    rays of warm sunlight blazing
in the cloudless blue sky, which
    never stops a person from
    getting ready for the day.

  11. Below, it's green.
    Above, it's blue.
    In the trees, it's chirping.
    In the breeze, it's pollen.
    Between my toes, it's mud.
    Spring is a wonderful thing;
I hope it's here to stay.
