You are a designer and are called upon to help a restaurateur design a new restaurant. Why type of restaurant is it going to be? What type of food will be served? What is the decor going to look like? Will it be family-friendly or basically for adults? Design away!
hmm.... i would love to have a little cafe in the middle of the city. It would be painted with different colors on the siding and on the trim. there would be antique looking gingerbreading around the crest of the roof and flower boxes in front of the windows. The windows would be huge glass windows to give it a modern feel. It would be squeezed in between two sky scrapers so the contrast of the quaint colorful cafe and the stark gray buildings would make the cafe look really appealing. The inside would be antique-modern. I wouldn't want it completely old looking, I would want modern furniture and a big glass case where the pastries would be. I would have different songs playing and it would be awesome! I would also have homemade ice cream! There would be huge blown up pictures on the wall of the various places I will have travelled and of different people!
ReplyDeleteI would create a sandwich/smoothie health shop. It would be nice to have it in a big city with little outdoor tables and seating on the roof. It would be decorated Victorian style, and everything would be very antique-ish. But it wouldn't be dark! I hate when places are dark. So it would be old fashioned, but with all the modern apliances and stuff. And the food would be really weird, but really good, and everything would be super healthy. So it would be for adults i suppose. The end.
ReplyDeleteugh. thinking. Umm ok...I would have a smoothie/coffee shop. It would be for whoever wanted to come, except I would hope creepy weirdos wouldn't come because they would freak me out. The colors would be pretty neutral with a few bright ones here and there. The lights will be hanging ones and they'll look sweet! They'll be over high tables with high chairs. uh yeah, that's all. :)
ReplyDeleteIt would be an awesome place on the edge of a cliff over looking the ocean. It would be a nice fancy place with all sorts of different decorations. The food would be chinese, mexican, italian, seafood and burgers and sandwhiches. Meals will be avaliable all day long and whatever food you like will be available. There will be stairs that lead down to the beach below where another part of the resturant will be and will have a tropical theme to it. It will also have a dock where boat rides will take people out to fish or do anything else. It will be a wonderful family place where people will enjoy a wonderful atmousphere and delicious food.
ReplyDeleteI would have an Italian restaurant. The reason being is because I love Italian food. The food there would obviously be the best food in the city. It would be a well known restaurant. It would just look like a Italian restaurant like they do today. It would be fancy. It would also have the best, delicious, fancy, expensive wines. Yes, that’s all. Deliciousness.
ReplyDeleteI would design a Chinese restaurant. NOT a Chinese buffet. It would have traditional Chinese food, but other food would be available. The floor would be bamboo, the chairs would be made from bamboo, basically all the furniture would be made from bamboo. There would be dim lighting. It would be painted in darker colors, such as red, deep purple, black, etc. I think it would be mainly for adults.
ReplyDeleteI would love to have a fancy Italian place. I love Italian food and like making it to. It would be sweet to have a restraunt in a really nice part of a large city. I don't really know what I would want for the decor because I don't really care about that. But it would be totally family friendly, but fancy enough it would be nice for a date and everything. So no screaming kids or anything. I can't stand that when I'm just trying to have a nice dinner.
ReplyDeletei would have an ice cream shop. i would hire Lewis Mau to run my shop. He is a ice cream connoisseur. with lewis running the shop, we would have to sell Dippin Dots. the only problem with selling Dippin Dots would be that lewis would eat them all. so my resturaunt would go out of buisness. the end
ReplyDeleteI would definitely open like a little college coffee shop/restaurant. It would be close to the water and have nice big outdoor area to sit. The inside would be painted in a beige color and there would be a lot of paintings on the walls. Along with the walls there would be small boozes to sit in and in the middle there would be tables; some of them bar tables. We would serve easy meals and l lot of different salads. Also good stuff, such as homemade ice-cream and cookies.
ReplyDeleteOh it would be so nice to open my own little place!

My food would probably be anything to do with Italian food. It would have a wide varity of choices, and of course there would be dessert. People would love it, yup they would. Then I would make millions of dollars.

I'd have an Italian restaurant, which would probably be more so for adults (though kids are welcome). There would be the usual Italian foods there, like pastas, breadsticks, salads, etc. And there'd be a ton of gelato! For the decor, umm ... I'd say it'd be simple, but having that Italian feel to it. Yeah.
ReplyDeleteIt would be a nature-themed restaurant. I think it would be called "iNature." Everything would be organic. There would be vines on the walls, birds in beautiful cages, etc. The walls would be tan (texturized) and it would look like a little cottage from the outside. H2O drinks would have the choice of: Waterfall water, and Raindrop water (of course it's filtered). The chairs would be tree stumps (with a comfortable cushion). Just imagine everything from nature - into one restaurant.
