Do you like to be scared? What was the scariest event that ever happened to you? For instance: When I was ten, my parents left me home alone with a friend. While Georgia and I were playing, we heard a tapping on the front door. When we went to check it out, no one was there. As we were peeking out the front door, we heard a tapping on the back door. We ran to the back door, and again no one was there. Then we heard tapping on the bedroom windows and saw a shadow running around the corner of the house. We were totally freaked out. We got our cheerleader batons and hid in the closet. It ended up being my uncle, the practical joker, thinking that it was funny to freak out two ten-year-old girls.

I love to be scared! I love scary movies that are actually scary...some are just dumb. But the scariest thing that ever happened to me was probably my whole sleep walking episode. But that was only scary for like seven seconds because I didn't know what was going on. And another time when I was in Kidnergarten I missed the bus to go home, so I set out to walk home. I was really scared! I made it downtown and my dad's friend stopped and brought me home.
ReplyDeleteI like to be scared every once in a while. Its good to have a little excitment in our lives every now and then. For example, when im running down the stairs and my dad pops out from around the corner and roars at me, then I fall in astonishment. I like to watch a scary movie every once in a while to because it is fun and scary. If we did not get scared every once in a while then we would die of fright when something really scary happens. Probably the scariest things that have happened is when I was younger and i had to go outside in the dark and walk the dog all alone. Its really creepy when you hear and see things and you are all alone.
ReplyDeleteI Love Being Scared!!!!!! I absolutely love watching scary movies (although half the time I just hide behind a blanket). I think I just like the thrill/adrenaline rush of being scared! Haunted houses during Halloween are awesome too, I just loved the suspense that something may or may not jump out at you! I'm also the type of person who sikes(?) myself out alot so I get even more freaked. :)
ReplyDeleteI've had a lot of scary things happen to me. When I was 4 or 5 I thought it would be funny to hide from my parents at a store, so I went in the clothes rack. They warned me that if I didn't come out they'd leave but I didn't listen so they went around the corner. When I did come out I couldn't find them and I started bawling my eyes out! I learned my lesson. Another scary thing was when I thought I was the only one home and then someone knocked on our front door at like 2 in the morning. It was casey..ugh. And I got ticked. Another one was when I was woken up in the middle of the night by some loud howl or something underneath my window! I screamed for my dad and he went outside with a gun. :P:) Well alright that's all I'm going to write about.
Well i hate being scared i thin haunted houses and things like that are fun when your with your friends but not alone. The scariest thing to happen to me was when i was little. I was staying up late and my parents desided to let be go to bed when ever. I fell asleep watching tv on the couch. I think i was watching the ring but it was a horror movie. Either way i woke up screaming becaue i was having a bad dream and then i fell back asleep after looking through the intire house for someone who wasn't there. Then my mom came down the stairs and it was still dark she was quite but i hear the stairs creek. It was so creepy. and then she peeked arround the corner and i freaked out. Yep thats my story for the day!
ReplyDeleteI think being scared every now and then is good, like Ben said. I hate watching scary movies along. Watching them with friends is okay though.
ReplyDeleteUhm, I don't really know what the scariest thing that ever happened to me is.. Well, I got into a car accident when I was in third grade (?). Then my most recent car accident. I freaked out. I think real events are scarier than fake stuff.. But that's just my opinion.
I'm in love with scary things. People have always questioned why I'm so weird and comfortable with scary things, and I've come to the conclusion that maybe it's because I was born in the Halloween season, so I connected it with good memories. I'm not really sure though. If someone hears a noise, I'd be the first person to go check it out. If there was a haunted house, I'd drag one of my friends inside it with me. When someone jumps out at me, I get an adreneline rush and I laugh so so so hard. I love being scared. :)
ReplyDeleteI've had a few legit scary encounters, but that's a secret. :D
I don't mind being scared every once in a while. I think scary movies are extremely dumb though.
ReplyDeleteThe scariest thing that has ever happened to me was probably when me and my siblings were home alone and someone knocked on my bedroom window. It turned out to be our cousins though. It actually turned out to be a very funny story. My brother scared them more than they scared us. haha. It was great.
CHRISTINA HOW COULD YOU FORGET?! that snowy november night?!!!....i like being scared sometiimmmees..tina and i had a really freaky thing happen a while ago...that was really really scary..it all started with us creepin..and then it got bad. but anyway..the other scariest thing was when liz and i were little and we were camping out and we think there was a cougar going around our tent.
ReplyDeletehmmm..i feel both ways about being scared. Sometimes I love it like at haunted house when i have head buried in my hands and i keep walking into people because i don't want to look...but secretly it's really exciting. I hate being really scared especially if I'm alone. Sometimes i feel like there is so much stuff to be scared of in real life that watching scary movies adds unnecessary fear to my life. But other time I like them. I like scary movies if they have an interesting plot i can follow. Which is rare...most of them are just slasher films.
ReplyDeleteI love and dislike being scared. It really depends on what is making me scared, really. When it comes to people popping out from behind corners or creeping outside your house, I find that really thrilling for some reason. Probably because you're not expecting whoever is scaring you, and then you find out it's just them. But there are times when I hate being scared. Snakes probably scare me the most because I just cannot stand them. They're just so ... creepy!
ReplyDeleteThe scariest thing that has ever happened to me occured during my freshman year when I attended St. Croix HS up in the Twin Cities. The school and dorms are, like, a little over a mile from stores like Target, Wal-Mart, etc. so it's pretty common for the dorm kids to go there. Anyway, a friend and me missed our van back to the dorms and had to walk back. Some guy followed us the entire time. It was really terrifying, because we didn't know what he'd do if he cought up to us or if he had a weapon on him. But we didn't really think much about that. We just ran, ran, ran until we were back in the dorms.
I don't really like to be scared. But there was one time that I was like really freaked out. I can't remember what it was for or anything, but my parents were somewhere and I was waiting for them to pick me up. I think they had been at church in the evening and then had to help decorate for something and I didn't know they had to decorate so I was freaking out because it took them I think two extra hours until they came and picked me up. I was practically crying because I thought something terrible had happened to them or something or that they completely forgot about me. I can't remember how old I was at the time.
ReplyDeleteI don't like being scared and I don't have any idea why anyone would like being scared. That just doesn't make since to me. Why would a person want to have the crap scared out of them for no reason when they were perfectly happy to start with, but whatever. But my dad likes to scare us all the time with random things. Sometimes if I'm working in the garage, he'll just toss some firecrackers in or wait for me to walk of my room in the dark and scare me. But I don't like it all.
ReplyDeleteI do not mind being scared. It really depends on what kind of mood I am in. Somedays I really enjoy a scary movie or anything like that, and other days I think wow this is stupid. It can get annoying sometimes I think. But I do not mind a good scare I guess. Not what I enjoy the most, but yeah.
