I got this idea from one of Ben's posts awhile ago: create a game. It can be a game show game, a board game, a video game, whatever, but create a game that people can play.
The game i would create would be like Call of Duty but more life like. I would make it as a virtual reality game and fully customizable. everything about your character is the you want it to be. From his outfit to his tattoos and eye color. The game would be based on the Iraq War and doing daily objectives. the online play would be just like it is for cod now but with better guns and better maps.
I would create a game that is very addictive. You attach yourself to cords, and it puts you in a deep sleep. From that point, your imagination controls the game. Of course, the machine that you're attached to makes noises (like a dinosaur chasing you) so that takes a part of it. Basically this is a game that lets you escape reality.
I have so many ideas for games. I have made several board, carnival and cards games in the past. I have a bad habit of starting another game before I finish another. I also tend to make them extremely complex, but still playable.
I am currently working on a game that involves slowly proceeding through time, starting in the stone age and creating everthing you need to survive. I have added a feature to this game where the players can do whatever they want, to make the possibilites endless so that new ideas and ways of playing are always avaliable.
If I could create any game I liked, I would create a virtual universe, where you can do anything you want, and it feels like reality. You can design anything, destroy anything and make the difficulties of things easy or hard. You could be able to jump a hundred feet, throw fire, turn into a bird, and do anything you can imagine. That would be the coolest thing ever. Maybe someday we will be able to make something like that.
Aaron is right! Virtual reality would be awesome!! It might be really scarry though and you would probably become addicted and forget about yourreal life. Anyway...you could get exercise from it too! You'd have these weapons like swords or guns or whatever, and you'd have to defeat bad guys or aliens or something. There would also be a player vs. player mode and a whole network where you could play live. The whole thing would not be just fighting; you would get to explore places and go on quest (not quests...that sounds nerdy. Something like a quest..whatever) OOO and you could pick what you look like and what armour you have and what weapon you want. This would be an awesome game.
Oh that’s a hard one. Maybe a game that’s all about challenges; that would be fun to play with your friends. There would be a lot of different challenges, such as jumping on one leg for 2 minutes, eating a teaspoon of flour or tell a secret about yourself. If you refuse to do it the other players can punish you (in a nice way). It would be a fun game to play, to see how far people actually are willing to go to win. /Jennifer
I'd create a virtual game. Like Sarah's, it would be a survival game. Like you are stuck in the tundra, savannah, desert, jungle, and so on and you have to make it for "2 months" using only the things around you.
Of course Crotteau would be the first one to post this...
I would create a game like the one from the movie Gamer. The player would control the character. If you wanted to move the character the player woulod have to move. the game would be like Call of Duty. it would also have to have zombies on it.
I would make a game that allows you to get that same adrenaline rush that you would get from sky diving, bungee jumping, and other things like that. You could put on a certain suit and helmet or something like that with goggles, which would make is seem realistic. I think being able to feel like you are jumping out of a plan would be very cool, especially if I do not have to risk killing myself! I think a game like that would be awsome!
I would create a game where you have to survive in the wilderness of Alaska. Kind of like the book Into the Wild. Like Sarah's and Kortney's, it would be a surviver game.
Any game that involved virtual reality would be really cool. You could decide where you would be and what you would have and anything else you could think of.
I think I'd make a board game kind of like monopoly, but if you went to jail, you lost all your money and you'd have to gain it all back by the end of the game. Or a board game that was about medical terminology or something like that. (:
i would create a game that you actually had to be active in..like you were the game!! no hand controllers or anything...just you in a different land and you had like super cool tricks you could do like jump really high to get stuff etc... stranded on an island!!
I like the ideas about the virtual games. But I also like Erinn's idea. It would be pretty awesome to be surrounded by a game where you are being active, like some cool technical game.
I love the WWII airplane games. They are so much fun and I like the history of them. So I would probally make a game like that. I guess beyond that I don't really know what I'd put into it, but the decisions people make in the game will change how the rest of the game goes.
I'd create a virtual game in which you can pick one superpower. You pretty much live your life with that power. There'd be a bunch of bad people roaming about and it's up to you whether you're going to join them or fight against them. And everything you do, whether your intentions were good or bad, has some sort of impact on the world. Umm ... yeah. That's the first thing that popped into my head. But it works!

I would create a game that would be like Into the Wild only virtual. You would be stuck in the wilderness and have to learn to survive. Yep.

ReplyDeleteHmm. any game that was virtual reality. Those games are fun and i think that more of them would be awsome. Anything with action would be fun to do.
