Using vivid, descriptive words, describe a weird day that you've had. It could be a weird day at school or at work. What made it so strange? Who was there?
My really weird day happened at work. So there's this crazy lady who lives in Colfax. She came into the store one day and she was talking to herself, reeeally loudly. I remember I was facing the isles and this lady came like barreling down the one I was in and was telling me that the lady is nuts and to stay clear of her. So I went into another isle and when she had left my shift was over so I left. I had avoided allll contact with the woman and this is why it's so strange what she said. Supposedly, later on the pyscho called the cops and said that Cody Cook and I hugged her and shock waved her (whatever the heck that is!) and grabbed her butt. For one, I didn't even see the woman, let alone have any contact with her! Ugh, it was weird and she's psycho.
I had a weird day when everything seemed to be a repeat of a previous day. It was just a regular day of school, but everything was so familiar. It felt like I was just having a strange dream. I was really tired that day, so everything seemed a bit fuzzy and unexciting. It may be that since school is just repeaed everyday, that I felt like that, but I may have just been a little out of it that day.
Last year when we turned the clock for summertime, I wasn’t awarded of it, so I spent the whole day wondering what was going on. I went to work and the clock there was still wrong so I wondered why none of my swimmers were there. I waited for the bus and I got terribly annoyed when it was late. I went to the store and freaked out when it was closed. And during this whole time I didn’t figure out that the clock had changed. Everything was just completely weird when all people around me lived in another time. God we depend on clocks nowadays! /Jennifer
I'd say my weridest day was last year. My sister woke me uup in the middle of the night just to look for monsters in her room. Then that morning the dog woke me up and i took him outside. Then when i let him back in he had a dead rabit for lunch. That was just the werid start to it though. Sarah desided to be my shadow for the day and did everything i did the same way i did it. It was not only werid but super annoying. Yes i no it isn't that werid of a day but for me it just felt werider than it actually was
My most recent weird experience happened last night. I fell asleep on the couch watching The Office and I woke up to go to bed, and it was like past midnight, and I was walking down the hall, and there's this big mirror at the end of the hall, and there was this figure standing at the end of the mirror! As I got closer I saw it was my mom! And I was like, "hey?" and she was just like, "goodnight." But she's never up that late, and it was dark, and I was scared, so I thougt that was pretty weird. Plus she was wearing her purple bath robe and these big glasses and her hair was not very attractive.
I can't really think of one, but there was this one time when me and Erinn were watching Friday Night Lights late at night and I remember feeling extremely tired. As we were watching it, I kept drifting off. Before I knew it I woke up and I was in the basement lying on the couch. I had absolutely no memory of what happened. I didn't know where I was and how I got downstairs. Finally though, I walked upstairs and looked at the clock. It was 3 in the morning and all my memory came back to me. But I was out cold. I didn't even hear Erinn leave my house or shut the TV off or anything. It was weird.
Everyday is a werid day. today was a weird day. We had a tornado drill. We sat in the hall with out hands over our heads. We were prisoners of the weather. then we had to go back to the library and do our home work . no i am blogging...weird,huh?
Hm, I can't think a weird day I've had. But a lot of the time, I have weird things happen to me while i'm driving. For example, today a person was driving in front of me, and they were going really slow at first and then they went over the speed limit, and there driving down the opposite side of the road for the longest time. It was kind of freaky to have someone driving on the opposite side of the road for 1-2 miles.
Probably one of the most recent weird days for me happened during Dorian at Luther College. I wouldn't say that entire day was weird, but what happened in the dorm Ben and I were staying at the first night there was a bit bizarre. After getting back to the building after going to a dance (where there was this weird guy telling us to "Get down, get down!" -- but that's another story) with Erinn, Sierra, and the other Dorians, Ben and I witnessed this random person walk through the room in a gorilla costume. It was quite a WTF?! moment. And then, like, five minutes later there were screams from the floor above us. College kids can be so weird sometimes.
The exasperated actress stormed into the subway. She was hasty in a manner that was difficult for people to read. Bad day on Broadway? Death in the family? With each click of the humming tracks she released her grip on her blanketed thoughts and let them run rampantly for all to hear. After her subway debut, she gallivanted away as if all her problems had been solved.
There was this cranky old lady who came into work on a super busy Saturday. She decided to come to my window so I got to deal with her. She decided that she wanted to get 5 savings bonds. Not a big deal. But she kept spelling the peoples names wrong so I had to redo it about three times each. And then I would print out a paper for her to look at to make sure everything was right and guess what? She told me the wrong state to mail it to. So I got to redo them all again. And this whole time it's just me and one other person working, and her computer locked up so there were probally 15-20 people waiting in line for twenty mins as I tried to get through this one old lady. grrr.
Probably my latest weird day was a week ago when I got my wisdom teeth out. When my mom was brought back into the room as I was trying to wake up, I guess I kept asking if it was done and then saying "no way", about 10 times. I'd hold up my hand in front of my face and pretty much counted 9 fingers, several times. One time I actually only said 5. I had to show my mom how to video with my ipod and while I was holding it, I said, "wow, I have two ipods" and "look there's two Abbie Lee's". Pretty weird to me because all I remember is looking out the window and then they said it was all done.
It's really weird when I wake up to a 90 degree sunny day...and then a few hours later I'm in really cold weather with no palm trees or sunshine. It was weird to think (while I was in Florida) that Wisconsin is going to have SNOW! I was on the beach, laughing really hard at the crappy weather in WI. I didn't want to leave. :(
