I'll write about my morning. I've made a delicious concoction of vanilla yogurt, raspberries, and granola for breakfast. I just picked the berries, and they still have dew on them. I will probably listen to "Good Day" by Nappy Roots while I brush my teeth. It is quite literally impossible to not be in an upbeat mood after listening to that song. I highly recommend it.
I'll write about my crazy weekend. I had a cross country met in Fall Creek Saturday morning. I ran well and really enjoyed the race. That is also where we get to run sectionals. My brother is standing next to me and wants me to say he got 4th :) Then after our race, my dad drove us back to school right away so that we could rush into the band lineup for the Colfax parade. Then to top it all off, we had another parade in Glenwood City yesterday.
While I was driving home from Milwaukee yesterday, I thought about something really random and I do not know the answer to the question that pertains. Do motorcycles have cruise control? Maybe I am dumb for not knowing this answer but it really dawned on me when I saw a motorcyclist on the highway. I just really do not know if they do or not and I guess it is weird that that was on my mind just now, so I am just wondering if anyone has the answer to it.
Today is the perfect day for free write. Yesterday we went to San Diego to Sea World and then we went to Pacific Beach. This was the first time I have ever seen an ocean in person. Jess and I then swam in the Pacific Ocean. Salt water is gross! It is very different with the time change and also yesterday the weather was about in the mid 70's and it was hotter in WI. It was funny because we would see so many people wearing pants and stuff because this is freezing to them. We even seen one kid have a winter hat on! I can not believe it is only Monday and we still have the rest of the week here.
I had a very good weekend. The Colfax Marching Band went to the Colfax parade Saturday and on Sunday we went to the Glenwood City parade. I think we did a decent job. Went to Texas Roadhouse on Sunday after the parade and had a birthday supper with my family. I got to ride the horse and hear everyone "yee-haw". It was a good time. I especially enjoyed seeing and hanging out with all my friends after the parade on Saturday. I cannot wait for this weekend that is coming up. :)
My brother's roommate called my house Saturday night and told me he was my cousin River. Then he asked if he could talk to my dad. He said "I am like a kid in a candy store, and I need one more dollar...to talk to your dad. I need to talk to Vaughn." I told him that was a really poor analogy. I heard my dad talking to Wyatt's roommate the next morning on the phone about bacon and "partying at the rat palace". Shortly thereafter, I recieved a text message that said, "Vaughn and I have a connection." I also was informed that Wyatt nearly broke his foot crashing a moped Saturday night. He doesn't even know anyone with a moped. I honestly have no idea what was going on with the two of them that night. I actually don't want to know.
Well it is Monday and today is not a day I want to be in school. I did not want to get up this morning. This weekend I went camping and I had a lot of fun. It was a long weekend though, I was very tired when I got home on Sunday. I do not know what else to say so goodbye. :)
I am so jealous of Alicia and Jess! I wish I was in California instead of Wisconsin. I was gone on friday because I was sick and it is not fun coming back to school. At least I feel better. I had a pretty uneventful weekend and got to sleep alot which was awesome. I....dont know what else to say.
I am going to write about how much I HATE colds! When I get one, like I do now, I just get really tired no matter how much I sleep. Even if I’m in a good mood, I feel and look horrible. It’s so hard to concentrate when you have to blow your nose every 5 minutes. I wish there weren’t such things as colds, because I don't see how they help a person in any way!
I finally bought Madden 12 this weekend!! It is so legit. I played it for around 5 hours yesterday. Greg is going to come over and play it tonight. I'm too tired to write anything else. I need to sleep in study hall.
This weekend went by so fast! Friday night I went to the football game and Saturday I went to our volleyball tournament. On Sunday I did homework all day so it was a long day Sunday, but for the most part this weekend flew by! I'm excited for Tuesday night after our volleyball game because I am going bear hunting up north with my dad. We are running with dogs and I can't wait to experience it, I have never done it before. I am kind of nervous. Also another thing I am doing this week is applying to colleges! It seems like just yesterday i was a "frosh!" I'm excited though to be a "frosh" again next year!
My weekend was okay. I spent most of it outside taking decals off of our semi trailer so we can sell it. It was super hot out, but that made it easier to get the stickers off. We only have half of a side to do now. I am going to go eat some food and then head back outside to try to finish it this evening.
My weekend wasn't very exciting. Although it was busy, because we needed to bail some hay, even though it is September. We had spent Saturday and Sunday getting it in. The sun and chaff was so intense that it was a misery to be on the wagon, even though the physical labor wasn't as difficult as it could have been. Needless to say, it was quick and not very fun.
I'm really excited the play madden 12 with Hayden! It looks so legit! Free writing is hard. I'm really having trouble of thinking things to write about. Bow hunting starts this Saturday though! I'm quite exited for that! Other than that, I don't have too much to write about.
I had a nice relaxing weekend that started off with a cold. Since I was sick, I watched movies and laid in bed. Sunday night I had tons of homework to finish for my CNA class at CVTC. I'm looking forward to this weekend because it is bear hunting. My step dad has a tag, so we have been getting ready with truck loads of bread and sweets.
I'm not really sure what to write about this time. I'm finally starting to get used to school again, but I am definitely not completely in school mode again. Even with these blogs, I forget to do them every day. I try but, sometimes things just slip my mind (sorry Mrs. M) but i do get them done.
Sorry about the late blog... i've been fairly busy in California ;) Anyways... free write.. Well, even though i am having a really fantastic time here, i still have a lot of things on my mind. The first night we got here i felt really homesick. I am not really sure why, though. It got better the next day when we went to San Diego. So that is good. Now that i am over the homesick stage, i can really soak in the beauty of California because it truly is gorgeous. It is actually exactly how i pictured it when we went to Pacific Beach, CA: hot tan guys throwing a frisbee back and forth, guys longboarding on the road to the boardwalk, and hot guys with long hair in wetsuits carrying their surfboards to the ocean. To all the ladies out there, i am sure you can probably tell that i was in heaven.. hahah. I would love to live out here someday maybe after college. Yeah... i think that's all :)
