You are going on a picnic with friends. Who are you taking? Where are you going? What are you going to eat? Write a short story (it definitely can be fictional) in which you are going or are on a picnic.
I am going up to my grandparents in sand creek with Kris, Ted, Matthew and Reed and we are going to go play around out in the woods for a few hours. Riding 4-wheeler, shooting spud guns, tipping over dead trees. These are all the fun things I'd like to do. Then when we got hungry, we could start a campfire and roast hotdogs. We would also have a big bowl of nice juicy watermelon, and some cool, refreshing lemonade. This would be an awesome day!
I would go to Yellowstone with Emily, Johnny Depp, Justin Bieber, and my sister, Katie. We would go up in the mountains and play with the snow and walk around the park. We would be eating candy, of course! Also, we would have fruit like canteloupe and watermelon. Thats my favorite fruit. For a drink it would probably be orange Kool-Aid. It yummy!! That would be the best picnic ever especailly since Johnny Depp and Justin Bieber are there. They are hot! :)
I would be going on a picnic with Emily, Shrek, Buzzlightyear, and Donkey. We would eat on the top of a rainbow while watching unicorns run across mountains. Our food would consist of drumsticks, mashed potatoes, salad, and a lot of fruit snacks. We would have milk shakes for our dessert and taste the rainbow. Our day would be complete.
Brett Favre and I would obviously go on a picnic together. We would go to his house in Hattiesburg, Mississippi to eat and we'd eat the breakfast of champions, Wheaties, because Brett Favre is a champion. After that, we would play some catch and ball it up. We'd have the best day ever together.
I would go to a deserted rock beach on Lake Superior with my best friend Emily. We would get caribou coffee on our way and dress in warm clothes. We would bring blankets and, of course, a camera. I would bring some fruit and other snacks to eat while we are on our picnic.
I would go on a picnic with Charles Lindbergh and Major Richard Bond! We could go canoeing in the river nearby and walk through the woods, attempting to beat each other at naming the wildlife that had left trails or other signs of their presence. After that, we could have a camp fire and I could listen to them tell all of their exciting adventures of their lives for hours on end, while we ate roasted marshmallows.
Meghan Leiffort and I would go on a picnic to Door County! On our way there we would take lots of pictures and get Starbucks. When we got there we would lay a blanket down by the lake and listen to the waves crash on to the shore. Fruit would be our main meal, but also some fruit snack and chocolate milk. I'm sure Meghan would bring air heads too because those are her favorite. We would sit there enjoying our snacks and watching the lake. Well that is of course as long as the seagulls don't attack us to eat our sugary treats!
I would go on a picnic with Joe Pesci and Topanga, from Boy Meets World. Since I would be hosting the outing, I would take them to Glastonbury, Vermont. Since there is so much to do in Glastonbury, we would probably never get around to eating anything. At some point though, despite Topanga and Joe Pesci being in the middle of having the time of their lives, I would force them to eat. We would feast on bacon bailey's whipped cream, turkey wrapped in bacon, candied bacon, baconators, and some bacon cream cheese stuffed french toast dumplings.
I'm going on a picnic with Brittany, Alicia, Robert Downey Jr., and a unicorn. We are going to the tippy top of the Eiffel Tower and eating Jimmy Johns. Then we all travel by iron man suits all around the world until it is lunch time again and have a second picnic on an island off of the coast of Hawaii.
To be honest, I hate picnics. I don't like eating outside at all, really. I think it's gross. So the chances of me going on a picnic with ANYONE are not likely at all. However, if it were a life or death situation (...not really sure what the chances of one of those coming up…) and I HAD TO go on a picnic, I would probably force my friend (but not really friend) Colin to go. I don't get to see him much at all. I’ve actually only seen him like five times in person… but one time doesn’t really count… because we didn’t do much talking. And actually, I told him last night that I was going to Africa so I can't talk to him for at least two months. I'm not really going to Africa. I genuinely just wanted an excuse to stop talking to him. Not because he is mean or is rude or anything of that sort because I honestly think he is one of the nicest people I know (not to mention, he is really REALLY attractive). I just think it is in my best judgment to quit talking to him. But anyways, I would bring him. So that I could just talk to him one more time before I left for "Africa". I am also not much of a cook by any means (you can ask Alicia) so if I were the one who had to bring the food to this picnic, I would probably just bring stuff that I can buy already made from somewhere. So... yeah, that's really all I have to say. This would never happen though considering he thinks I already left for Africa.
First I need to pack a lunch. I take a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, some fruit (probably some grapes and an apple), some crackers, and hummus. I'll bring a bottle of water and a separate one of juice and put all of it into a basket with a blanket. I'll then strap it to my bicycle and ride to the nearest park or empty field. because it's really unacceptable to drive to picnics when biking is an option. There, I'd meet a couple of friends to eat and maybe play a game like soccer or frisbee after we'd finished. Since I don't like bringing leftovers from picnics home, I'd probably find a dog or bird to feed any remnants of the meal to.
If I was going on a picnic, I would have Garrick and all of our closest friends come along with us. We would go to this beautiful grassy area near the water where it would be sunny and warm outside. My preference of food we be peanut butter and jelly sandwhiches but there would also be some turkey and cheese sandwhiches for those who are not crazy about pb&j's. We would bring alot of fresh fruit including watermelon, mango, pinapple, grapes, cantelope, and strawberries. We would also have freshly baked cookies, carrots, and lemonade to drink. The day would be perfect. Later we would go swimming in the beautiful blue water and then lay out underneath the stars when it gets dark.
Jessie, Latisha, Kayla, and I decide to go to Niagara falls to enjoy a picnic. We make sandwiches better than Subway's. We make a huge pitcher of lemonade. And of course we make fresh chocolate chips cookies. We are all rather hungry so we quickly grab a blanket and hop in my super jet. In my super jet we enjoy orange soda refreshments as we wait for arrival. An hour later we arrive to the massive water fall! We set our picnic basket and blanket up on a nice patch of grass. Our hair and blanket got soaked but it was the best picnic I ever went on!
I would bring all my close friends, but I would also mainly bring all my friends that I haven't talked to for awhile. I have a lot of friends that I haven't talked to lately because they go to another school or have changed. Having a picnic and inviting them so we could catch up. We could go to a park were we could swing on the swing set and play around on the jungle gym. We would have a desert buffet and air heads for food, because like Shelby said-I love air heads :)
Well for my picnic, Lindsay and I would travel to the hundred acre woods to hang out with chrisopher Robbins and Winnie the pooh and his home dawgs! We would eat crumpits and drink tea while we chatted about the daily news. There would be no peanut butter!! Then we would probably camp out and roast mallows over the fire until our tummies were satisfied.
I would bring all my friends that I hang out with on a regular basis. We would go to a sandy beach and relax in the sun. Bring our beach towels and stick our toes in the water. Hanging out with them on the water on the lake is so fun. I would bring a fruit bowl and some lemonade. The sun would hopefully be shining bright and we could get a tan also.
