10-17

Hmmm...only ten of you responded to Friday's blog. I think those of you who did not need to get going before 6 p.m. tonight or you'll be out points.

Today is Monday. Free write.

  1. Markers are weird. They seem really insignificant, but there are entire factories and industries on which thousands of people probably depend that make markers. Highlighters, sharpies, crayola, color-change, water-soluble, the list goes on and on. There are so many different kinds! They are all useful. I am struck by how much we use markers and how little we think about them. They do not seem like much, but I think that there is probably more to the story.

  2. I had a really fun weekend. Saturday, I got to visit both of my grandparents and help my grandma do a bunch of stuff around her house. When we went toy other grandparents in sand creek I rode the four wheeler around in the woods and had to pull my brother out twice. Sunday I went to spirit mountain adventure park in Duluth. They have a really cool gravity powered roller coaster that the rider can control the speed of that I went on 4 times. The ride is 8 minutes long. They also have a zip line that goes flying down a huge hill. That was really fun too. I hope I have more amazing weekends like this.

  3. The reason I didn't respond earlier to Friday's blog was because I was gone Friday...but I did respond to it on Sunday.
I have been dreaming a lot when I sleep now. I don't know why it is different. I didn't dream that much up until a few days ago. Now I have literally about ten dreams a night. They are all really random. For example, last night I dreamt that I gave Mr. Glynn an oreo ball and he said it tasted like crap. Mr. Glynn would love oreo balls in real life. Dreams are strange.

  4. Today is Monday. I dread Mondays on Sundays. I feel like Garfield when I say that. I had an amazing weekend with my best friends. We just had a good old time laughing and making jokes. I wish my weekends were longer. I wish they did not go by sooo fast. It's like weekends do not exist. Friday was also my last high school football game. It was extremely cold and sad. But I am very excited to cheerlead for basketball!!

  5. I had a weekend full of nothing. Friday, my family, boyfriend, and I had a family night and we played games and made sundaes. We did this to celebrate my acceptance into UW-Stevens Point. On Saturday, I went to a baptism and then had lunch with my family at my aunts house. On Sunday, my sister and I went to see the new Footloose. It was AMAZING!!! I loved it. Well that was my weekend.

  6. I do not like Mondays. I am tired but I had a pretty good weekend. I am sitting in Computer Apps thinking about all I need to get done. The list is pretty long. I need another weekend to get all my stuff done. I am looking forward to our FBLA trip tomorrow. I need to go home and take a nap after school!

  7. Jess's car smells like crayons. I like it. I miss it. I want to take a road trip. I don't feel good today. I wish it was Christmas time. I'd rather be sleeping right now or at my brothers. I better stop blogging so I can work on my computer apps now.

  8. I'm getting a Tattoo! I've had to wait 3 months now, and I just can not wait! The reason for having to wait is because I wanted to wait till after volleyball. Just last week my mom told me she is getting it done with me! I know it is going to hurt, but I’ll deal with the pain! It is going to be the word Family on the side of my right foot. The dot on the i of family is going to be a dog paw print and at the end of it will be a heart.

  10. This weekend I went to village of terror and all I have to say is, "YIKES." I was so freaked out. I think mainly because the guy that took pictures of volleyball players at our stout sprawl tournament last year got arrested there. Any body could just put a mask on and be in the trail. The could kid nap you and no one would know. The clowns were the scariest part and my friends thought it was funny so they would catch me off guard and scare me too! I'm glad I got a free ticket because otherwise I would have never paid $20 to get the pants scared off me. I'm glad I got a chance to do something fun this weekend!!

  11. It's been a very monotonous Monday... I've actually been in a very bad mood the whole day. Not for anything in particular, it's just one of those days, i guess. If i were given the choice, i would've probably not talked to anyone today besides Alicia. One thing that has been constantly on my mind is going back to California. I can't wait to move out there. Mostly for the weather, but also because i need a place to start new and meet new people and experience new things. I don't know... i just hate this place.

  12. Well, I decided to try to fit in a week of a book that I want to actually read for pleasure and not for school. I started reading Eat, Pray, Love for the second time. Last time I read it was last winter. It almost seems better the second time around and I am really enjoying being able to fit some time in to read it again. I decided to read it at 1:00 this morning when I woke up and could not fall back asleep. I don't know, I just told myself that I was going to read that book today and then went back to bed. It was wierd.

  13. I had not had a very exciting weekend. It was just one of those times when everything added up in a lopsided manner. Sunday was an especially unpleasant day, but the way everything worked out, I should simply be glad that I am not badly hurt. At least I had gotten most of the homework finished that I had planned.

  14. I will start off by saying that I had a fantabulous weekend. I did not really do a lot but I had fun being with Garrick all weekend. I am excited for summer too. I do not know if I want my senior year to be over yet or not, but I really feel like I do somedays. I just to be able to do things and not sit in school all day. I cannot wait for Country Fest and Canada. It is going to be a great summer. I want basketball to be here. I am quite deprived of it at the moment..

  15. Well Mrs. M I'm real tired. I always wait to blog until I'm like ready to go to bed and then sometimes I forget so I have to wake up and do it. I think I lost my groove at madden..I'm doing awful. It's bad. I'm kinda sad we had to turn in our football pads today. Oh and I hope I got a good grade on my test.

  16. It is now Tuesday and I did not get a chance to blog yesterday. Monday's are absolutely crazy days with limited time to do anything. I am at school now catching up on my homework for this week. This cold weather and fall has turned everything around me into hunting. It is hunting this and hunting that all the time.
