This was a really exciting weekend for me. Our Cross Country team made it to state! The guys team hasn't done that since 2005. Se are leaving Friday afternoon, but we're trying to convince coach to leave Wednesday so we can miss some school. That's not going to happen though. Still, it will be such an amazing experience to get to run at the state meet.I'm so excited! Yesterday wasn't as fun though, because after church I spent pretty much the whole day doing homework until I went to FCA.
I am very glad this week is only a three day week. I am quite tired of school and I really could use a break. I had a pretty good weekend at sectionals even though we missed state by 13 points. It was sad, but I am happy for the boys and for Kenna. I'm excited for this weekend because my cousin is getting married and I am really happy for her. Also because I get to see Garrick because he is coming with me.
Good weekend. I had a great night saturday and spent sunday with my family watching the game :) yay packers! I went to an FCA thing Sunday night and we watched Soul Surfer. I wish I didnt have to go to school today. Im really glad we only go til wednesday but its not like I get a vacation. My family and I are going with my church on a mission trip to Minot ND. Theyve had flooding and we are going to help clean up. I am not much of a manual labor type of person so this weekend will be interesting to say the least
I have decided that I want to attend a Southern Baptist church like the one in "Blues Brothers." I watched a youtube video of the gospel singing, clapping, and dancing and really wanted to join in! SOUL. I am also very relieved because the 7.2 magnitude earthquake in Turkey did not strike Istanbul. I have several friends who live there, and I was really worried, for obvious reasons! I also have honors orchestra in Madison this week and a CVYS/ Eau Claire Jazz fusion benefit concert on Sunday, so it's going to be a fun week.
I am so happy that there is only a three day week. Not sure what I will be doing with my time off but I knwo for fact I want to celebrate at China Buffet. I want to celebrate a four day weekend by the endless food choices that China Buffet offers. I know I also have to go to work Friday and help cut wood Saturday. I dislike cutting wood very much. It is a repetitive process that seems to last a life time. A wood stove though keeps my whole family toasty warm in the winter time. You got to do, what you got to do.
I'm sick of people clipping their horses' winter coats. It is a stupid decision almost 99 percent of the time. First of all, the horse hates it. If you do turn them out and it is below 40 degrees, the horse will be standing there shivering. This will cause them to burn more calories than they are intaking, which can make them lose weight. So because of this, they have to be blanketed. They hate that. Then you have to buy a blanket for each range of temperature throughout the winter. A lightweight blanket, a medium weight, and a heavy weight blanket is necessary. There is a pony right now at the stable that is clipped and the owner put a horse sized blanket on her. It is way too big and the staps hang down. I found her with her leg tangled in those straps. She could have been hurt. Therefore, don't clip your horse's winter coat off; it's there for a reason.
Ahhhhhhhhhh... Three day week. It's exactly what I need right now. Except for 2 of the days, I have doctor's appointments. How lovely... It sucks being gone so much, but there is nothing I can really do about it. Oh well. I'm pretty PUMPED for this week, though, ... Despite all my doctor's visits. Thursday Carly, Sarah, Ryleigh, Shyanda, and I are going to Milwaukee for a concert. MAYDAY PARADE, YOU ME AT SIX, & WE ARE THE IN CROWD. Then we are staying in Milwaukee and hanging out there the whole day, coming home Friday. THENNNN.... Saturday I am going to the cities with a bunch of people and going to Valley Scare.. So I have a fairly long week ahead of me. But probably one of the best weeks I've had in awhile.
I started my own blog the other night on Tumblr. It's actually really relieving. I write every last thing that I'm feeling. I'm not really expecting anyone to read it, but it's nice to just have some sort of way to relieve all my frustration. But along with helping me cope with my life, i also find it extremely fun to do. If any of you guys have Tumblr, you should probably go follow me :) But be aware, I use very foul language.
I did not do anything this weekend. I did some homework, I started reading Wicked. I dont really like it so far, it is really slow moving. I do not want to be at school today, getting up this morning was hard. That is about all I have to say.
My pet peeves...Oh were to begin... My biggest pet peeve is when people eat, and they slide there fork between their teeth and make a noise. It just bothers me so much! These days, people don't know how to be faith full to one another. When you are with someone (dating) that means you fool around with other people! Because it is completely wrong! The worst part about it, is celebrities and adults are setting example for the younger generation! Why can't we go back to older days were there was no such thing as cheating, divorces, and all that complicated stuff. It always ends in the end, so don't start, just stop right away! Another one of my pet peeves people that think there are so good at something, when really they suck. I’m not saying people shouldn’t try. I’m just saying people shouldn’t brag how good they are at doing something when there horrible at it.
The Badgers blew their game this weekend. I'm very upset about that. Th Packers won so that is good. I finally finished my first season of my franchise on Madden 12 and I won the Super Bowl. I drafter a very good running back and a very good receiver in the 2013 draft, but I had to trade Wiz Khalifa for good draft picks.
Not much has been going on in my life lately. It was my sister's 21st birthday so she came to my house with her boyfriend this weekend. That was alot of fun, they are goofballs. I am super tired today because I did not sleep much this weekend. I am just super happy that it is only a three day week so I can get some work done. I am going to tour the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire on friday with my mom so I am also really lookng forward to that!
I stressing out about all this stuff that is due on Halloween. I am happy its only a three day week though. I finally get to sleep in! I work only weekends and it's always at 8 am or so so i never get to! But anyways, I'm really hungry for Buffalo Wild Wings right now... mmmmmmmmm. It's only 5pm and I am already tired. I need to read a lot tonight and work on homework so maybe I shall take a nap. haha. I don't want to go to this soil judging thing on Wednesday considering how much school I have been missing and i really just rather not go. hmmm. I think that's it for now.
I had a very unexpected set of events this weekend. Before Saturday, I thought that Kyle was still in Thailand. I did not recognize him at first, but he noticed me and invited me to go his new house. We sat around for hours and caught up on all of our events. It was strange, because catching up with old friends is normally something that only my dad does. I do not mean for it to be that way, but I usually never see people again after they leave, whether it is them or me.
Well I'm kind of in depression at the moment because I just got in from hunting where I had an encounter with the buck I've been trying to get all fall. He is by far the biggest buck I ever seen bow hunting! He's a main frame 10 with a crab claw on the right side. He's massive, tall, wide, he's everything! He came into 45 yards and wouldn't come any closer. What an experience to be that close to such a dominant and beautiful animal. It was hard to watch him walk by but the whole rut is ahead yet. And David is coming home on Thursday<3
Nothing much happened over the weekend. Today I final for my college class, I got 100 on the exam. Tomorrow I start my clinicials at 6:30 in the morning. Its goin to be a long day. I am glad we only have three days this week. I will beable to get lots of homework done and also catch up on sleep. I get to go up to my cabin this weekend. I havent been up there in a few months. So it will be nice to get away and relax.
I did not do much over the weekend except study, homework, and work. This week is going to be crazy busy with CVTC finals, research paper, work, and other daily things that go on. I am happy we have a three day school week though. I am finally going up to Hayward for the first time since school started!
