11-10
Today you are a television producer. Your job is to come up with a new television show for the fall season. What is the premise of the show? Is it drama, reality, comedy, family, or a combination thereof? Who will you have star in the show (if you use stars)? What will your story arc be if you choose to avoid reality-based programming?

My television show will be based in the Arctic, but it won't be another survival show. It will be a series of winter-related challenges. One week, the challenges will have a physical-fitness/ sporting theme like catching a penguin (without harming it!) and bobsledding. The next week, they'll have to build an ice sculpture or get some really cool ice photography (arts week). Another week would be an ice-skating competition, even though it's sort of a sporting event. Yet another might be designing a suit that allows you to survive super-cold temperatures. The prize for the winner at the end of the season would be ironic-- like a trip to the Bahamas. Also- dramatic theme music and strange hosts with overly spikey hair would be banned.
ReplyDeleteIf I was a producer, for the fall season I would release the TV show called Wisconsin Shore. It would be a comedy-drama-reality show. We would not have any stars but we would have normal teenagers from Wisconsin and from every state. We would put a group of these teens together and make them live here in Wisconsin. Kids from, let’s say, California would hate our long winters. It would just be entertaining to see how teens react to the different weather and situations in this fine state.
ReplyDeleteIf I were a TV producer, I would make a show called Ocean: After Dark. It would be about what the animals in the ocean when it is dark out. How they act, what they do, and how they act around the other sea animals. It would be a family show. There would be no stars but the host and narrator would be Johnny Depp of course! This would clearly not be a reality show because that just would not make sense.
ReplyDeleteMy show would be kind of like Animal Planet. It would be called- Animals Unleashed. Every week, I spot light a ferocious animal species. In my show, I would explain to everyone that they really are not mean, but are nice. Most animals that come across mean are just mean when they are hunting down there pray. This show would teach people more about these species and learn to love them.
ReplyDeleteMy show would be about teaching people from Hawaii and southern states to enjoy snow. There would be lots of snowmobiling, skiing, and snowboarding, sledding and ice fishing. We like going swimming and surfing when we visit them, so I would teach them the awesomeness of our winter activities. Seeing people struggle at learning it would make the show even more interesting. I do not know what I would call it, so I would make a facebook page looking for suggestions that would fit the show.
ReplyDeleteMy show would be like Glee, but the stars would be Colfax people. We would tape "regular" school days, but there would be a song for every sad and happy moment of the day! I love music so it would brighten my day and I think it would lighten the mood of certain situations. So my show will be called Glee-Colfax style and it would be a reality, drama, and comedy show!
ReplyDeleteI would make a show about designing old inventions. It would be about modern engineers attempting to design something from an earlier era, as exact as possible. They would have to attempt to redesign parts that have not been made anywhere in the world from ten years ago to several thousands of years ago. The show would be about how hard it is to reproduce the materials, the efficiency of the design's, or how impractical they were. Of course this would be an educational show that would also be entertaining.
ReplyDeleteI would have a show starring Joe Pecsi and me. It would obviously be a reality show about the awesome things we do when we hang out. It would involve our crazy antics together, such as us robbing Macaulay Culkin's house during Christmastime and crazy fights we get into. There wouldn't be a single viewer who wouldn't find themselves tuning in every time it is seen on their TV guide.
ReplyDeleteThe boys and I are gonna create a hunting show for Midwest giant whitetails as well as other big game. It will be legit! Probably the best thing to ever happen to tv.
ReplyDeleteMy show would be a reality show about people who go around the world helping poverty stricken people from other countries. There would not be any stars in my show because it would be real life people. It would be an educational show that I hope people would watch.
ReplyDeleteMy show would be a talk show like Ellen Degenerous. This would mean that I would be rich and could give all my fans in the audience gifts. I would definately have Paul Walker guest star on my show. He would be there basically because I love Paul Walker and my fans would love him too. He would talk about his life and all his interests. He would tell us his favorite movie he starred in. He would most likely give my audience, and me, a special surprise gift of all the movies he has been in because they are great. Then we would watch Into the Blue which stars him and Jessica Alba. It is an amazing movie.
ReplyDeleteMy show would be a combination of a drama and reality. The star would be Ryan Reynolds because well that alone would attract most people to watch this show. It would be based on Ryan's life and drama that is in it and it would take place in San Diego.
ReplyDeleteMy show is all about Brett Favre. It would be all about his life. It would also go through each game he played to show how amazing he was. It would also show what really happened between him and the Packers and I think a lot of peoples opinions about him would change. I'm convinced that it would be the best show ever.
ReplyDeleteI never watch tv, so i would never be doing any of this stuff. honestly, i think tv is stupid. if i were dared to never be able to watch tv in my entire life again, i would be happy to accept that
ReplyDelete"challenge".
