I went for a bike ride yesterday, and something got into my eye. My vision was blurry for a while, but it's ok now. I rode from my house to the school, and there is a stretch of road that is almost perfectly straight lasting almost 4 miles. There was a strong, cold wind in my face for the entire way back. I was frozen. After I had thawed, I skyped with Jen for a while! It was so nice to talk to her again. It would be if it would snow. I want to go sledding.
Why do breaks always have to go by so fast? It seems like just yesterday we got out. Anyways, my break was good. I did t get much sleep because I was out hunting most of the break. I hardly saw any deer after opening day. Before it started to snow on Saturday I saw about 30, but after that I saw probably 8 the rest of the week. My dad jokes and says that a UFO came and sucked them all up after opening day. Then yesterday I had to write a 3 page paper for my youth options class. That wasn't fun because the topic was really wordy.
I love breaks, but they do go by so fast. It was nice to get up to my cabin again and relax. I went black Friday shopping in Duluth with Lacey and we got some really awesome deals. Thanksgiving dinner was really good, but now I really need to work it off! So tonight I'm going to zumba! Hopefully Christmas break will come fast! This year is flying by!! WAHOO!
I'm not trying to be a negative Nancy right now, but I seriously do not want to be here anymore. I could barely wake up this morning and I just wish I was at home sleeping right now. My break was fabulous though. I stayed at Garrick's house the whole break, but he was not there. He was with his dad hunting in Gilman and his grandparent's house. I stayed with his mom the whole time. You may think that is weird and not fun, but it was a blast! We had a lot of fun making truffles, fudge, and watching movies. I went to my first Day family Thanksgiving dinner and it was so much fun. I also went black friday shopping from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. My break was awesome and I am not happy that it is over.
Yeah, so how many days until Christmas break? Anyway, there is a lot of food in my house right now. That's what's great about Thanksgiving; there is stuff to eat for like a week afterwards. I live off of leftovers and stuff you don't cook. I don't have time to prepare food. Normally I don't have time to eat either. Except for over break. All I did was eat over break. Eat and ride horse. I'm not joking. That's it.
I had an amazing break! It was hard to get back on the sleep schedule last night. I could not fall asleep till like midnight last night cause I started a bad habbit of staying up late within the last couple days. I had an amazing weekend spending time with my grandparents, my brothers, and my parents. I played many card games and ate amazing food. Thanksgiving was a lot of fun as well. I helped make the whole meal this year, plus I baked chocolate and pumpkin pie! I burnt the crust a little but it was still tasty!!! I loved my weekend and three more weeks to go till the next vacation!!!
Breaks done which sucks. But oh well. Mondays suck and I didnt want to come to school today. I am already looking forward to christmas break! I got alot of rest this weekend and had fun hanging out with my family. This week should be alright and im planning on hanging out with friends alot and working. Looking forward to Christmas presents shopping. I am so lazy I havnt done any yet!
I cannot wait for Christmas. I am super excited to spend time with all my family and of course presents and not just the ones for me but also giving others them. :) I had a pretty good break. On Wednesday I went to the cities with Brittany and Jess and that was a lot of fun. Then Thursday was Thanksgiving and at 9:00 p.m. we started our journey of BLACK FRIDAY SHOPPING! I was out with my brother and Sarah from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. I am still catching up on my sleep! Jess is home sick. I hope she feels better. Yes, I think that's it.
Well today I watched Alicia and Shy fall on their faces! It was really funny. I did not have a good break. Except when I went to Minnesota with Alicia and Jess. I went hunting a lot and saw one deer all season. Because the deer were stupid and did not let me shoot them I have to go hunting again in December, I am not very excited! I love coming back to school knowing that my "friends" talked bad about me when I was not here. I do not like when people cannot take the blame when it is their fault! I went Black Friday shopping and it was awesome! I only spent $50, which is good, for me. I even bought myself some new shoes. Well that is pretty much all I have to talk about.
My Thanksgiving brake went by wayyyy to fast! Over all it was an awesome brake. On Wednesday, Shelby and I went out for coffee at a cute shop in Bloomer and I had the best Chi tea I have ever had. Thursday was food and football with the family. Thursday morning I ran in a run race called the Turkey Trot, and that was a lot of fun. Thursday night and Friday morning was allllll shopping :) I worked a few times over the weekend, and listened to a lot of Christmas music...37026 minutes till Christmas!
I am getting a tattoo on Saterday, I know...crazy! I am getting the words "I carry your heart" on my shoulder blade, my sister is getting the same one. It is from the poem by E.E. Cummings. My sister and I feel like the poem fits perfectly with us because we are far away from eachother but we can still feel eachother's pain and joy. It will be a good reminder that I am not alone and my sister is always here. I am really excited!
Well, things seem to be going by rather quickly. I can not say that I am excited for winter. I know that the temperature yesterday was nothing compared to what it will be in a few weeks, but I still do not enjoy it. I was off from my schedule far enough that I almost forgot to blog today.
Back to school. Yay.. Oh well. Tomorrow is our first basketball game which is sort Weird to think already. We kind of struggled in the scrimmage and we were exactly great at practice tonight either so we'll see how it goes. Badgers are in the big ten championship game and my cousin just got a call from there and they want to see his game film!! He's a beast.
I almost forgot to blog today... Like I forgot yesterday. And the day before. Oh well. Free write. I had a nice Thanksgiving weekend, I suppose. I went to the MOA with Alicia and Brittany, which was awesome. We met up with a couple of friends. I also went back to the cities to visit another friend of mine. That was nice. Then the rest of the time was spent with my family.. doing whatever. Which was also nice. I think that's it.
It has been a busy week. It is now Thursday and I am just getting around to Monday's blog. Oops. I had a wonderful Thanksgiving break with my family. I had to work the majority of it but that wasn't bad.
