11-4

Are you a routine person? Do you like to do the same things at the same time every day? What are your routines? What happens when your routine gets disrupted? If you are not a routine person, explain how that works for you.

  1. I am kind of a routine person but I do not get all flustered when it gets messed up. Usually I wake up at 6:30 and get ready for school. I get on the bus at 7:20. After school I feed my cats and then start some of my homework. At around 5:00 every night I go for a run. When I get home I start dinner. My mom gets home and we eat and watch t.v. I take a shower and then go to bed anywhere from 8:30 to 11:00. Like I said, it is not a big deal to me if my routine gets messed up, but it is nice when I have a normal day!

  2. I am some-what of a routine person, but most of the time I am not. I get up at the same times in the morning. Actually it differs between 6:30 and 6:45. I get up and take a shower. I come back to my room, get dressed, do my makeup and then go downstairs to eat breakfast. I have to have breakfast everymorning or I will die. After I eat, I go back to my room and do my hair. This is sort of a normal morning for me. I always leave my house at different times to go to school. Like today, I left my house at 8:03 because I was moving really slow, and I text a lot in the mornings! Every day is different for me. I just go with the flow, which in my mind is the best way to do things!

  3. I usually do not follow routines but before school in the morning I have a routine I follow most days. I roll out of bed and use the bathroom. I let my puppy out so he can go as well. I pick out my outfit depending on my mood and how I feel that morning. Then I do my makeup. After those two chores are done I decide if I have the ambition to do my hair or not. Whatever I decided I do my hair. After I am all ready for the day I brush my teeth. After my teeth are brushed I usually go through my book bag and make sure I have everything I need for school that day. If I don’t have what I need I seek for them in my messy room. I do not like when my morning routines get interrupted, plus I have a rough time with mornings as it is. It can set my schedule way off track and I could be late for school which is not good!

  4. I kind of have a routine in the morning. I get up between 6:50 and 7:10, get then do all by getting ready stuff which is usually the same every morning. Other than in the morning, I usually do not care to keep a routine. It is too much work, and I would rather just do what works best in the current situation.

  5. I am not a very routine person. I just kind of wing it. Some things I can be routine about. I have a daily schedule but it doesnt bother me to get off track.

  6. I am a routine person in some things and not in other things. I always....go through stores the same way every time and I have a path I follow when I go to the mall usually. I have favorite ways to get to places. I have the same routine when I get in my car and how I get things for my bowl of cereal. But on things Id expect to be routine about im not like when I get up or go to bed

  7. I am exremely routine. I do the same exact thing every single day. I wake up, take a shower in my golden shower with golden water, then eat some golden pancakes, then put on some golden clothes, then go to the golden gym and lift some golden weights, then take my golden car for a ride, then go to my private golden club with lots of nice girls, then go back to my golden house and go to sleep in my golden bed. Its boring, but its the life of a baller. If I do one thing thats not golden, I scream for 14 straight hours then get back on my golden routine.

  8. I am sort of routine. I don't get angry if something doesn't fall in the same time of the day that it normally has. In most cases I pretty much have a routine at my house of getting ready in the morning like doing my makeup before my hair and eating breakfast exactly five minutes before I'm suppose to be walking out the door. Otherwise, I do not have a regular way of doing anything I just go with the flow.

  9. I am more reliant upon having a larger direction/ end goal than on having a lot of specific steps when going through a given period of time. I do not mind having my schedule disrupted, as long as I don't end up wasting any time. The order in which things happen does not matter, to a reasonable extent. I actually prefer not to have a very rigid schedule over long periods of time because if there is a specific part of the schedule that I dislike, because the dislike deepens each day and I develop sort of a mental rut pertaining to that activity or time.

  10. I would say that I am quite a routine person. Every morning I get up, I change, and eat breakfast. Then I brush my teeth, get my back pack and head for the bus. After school, I do chores, and then chip away at the homework load. I take a break at 6:10, put the chickens away and do a routine check of the barn. After that I head back to the house where I finish or get as much homework as I can done. It does frustrate me when everything gets bent out of shape, which happens quite regularly, but I plan for that.

  11. I like routine. I am pretty OCD so I like things to go smoothly. I never let my gas tank go below half, I never go a week without cleaning my room, I always double check I have everything when I leave some where, I'm always in sweats at my house, etc. I know how to handle a situation when a routine changes, but I would much rather have things stay in the same routine.

  12. I am definitely a routine person. Every morning I get up at 5:45 and go outside and do animal chores. Once I get back inside, i eat breakfast, watch the news, and talk to my mom until 7. Then I get ready. According to Shelby, I am very routine about my nails, I just hate having them look bad and chipped. And I ALWAYS buckle my seatbelt. So ya I guess I am a routine person, but I don’t mind be spontaneous occasionally.

  13. As a high school student, I think most of our lives are routine-like during the school year. We wake up. Go to school. Most of us have some sport that we are in that we must go to practice to. As for me, I usually still have to work after dance practice, then I go home and do homework and sleep. Then repeat. So yeah, I guess you could say my life usually follows the same routine.

  14. I'd say I'm a pretty routine person. It just helps me keep track of everything. Once you get into a routine, you don't have to think about things as much. It's kinda like bowhunting, which I'm doing right now. I put all my clothes on in the same order everytime. I put all my gear in the same pockets. When I get to my stand I always do things in the same order. So when it comes down to the shot, I hope that it is routine just as I would be shooting in the back yard. Oh I think there's a deer coming! Bye Mrs. M!

  15. I am a very routine person, but that is probably because I am OCD about everything. I feel most in control of my life when everything goes according to plan. I like having a schedule and following it. But I don't mind changing it up here and there if it doesn't conflict with things I have going too much. Sorry that this blog is late. I was gone half the day on Friday and I usually do my blog third hour, and because I was gone, I didn't end up doing it.
