I finally did some Christmas/ Hanukkah shopping! I'm pretty excited about the gifts that I got for my parents. I also got some friends who live in New Mexico really cool t-shirts from the Local Store. I went to Infinitea Teahouse for the first time on Saturday, and my friend noticed that the drummer from Bon Iver walked in while we were there. Nobody acted weird around him, even when Bon Iver came up on the teahouse's playlist. It was pretty cool.
I had Christmas with my mom's family this weekend. It was a lot of fun. We do a huge white elephant exchange with the whole familyand it was really cool. My grandparents stayed in Florida this year so it was weird having them on Skype and not actually being there. This week is kind of busy for me. I have Christmas at my dad's on Wednesday, my mom is graduating on Thursday, and then I go to Wausau this weekend. Crazy! I am really excited to give out my gifts! I love Christmas.
I am so excited for Christmas break! Yesterday felt like a Saturday. So this morning when my Mom was shaking me awake, I was confused for I thought it was Sunday. My bus driver literally just decided not to pick me up this morning. Yeah I was not late, the driver chose not to show up. Then on top of my rough start to my day, I got to first hour and realized that I have to perform at the Christmas concert tonight. I am kinda annoied. I just want it to be vacation now so I can relax.
On Friday i had my boyfriend, Josh's work Christmas party and I wore my new dress that I just LOVE! It's cheetah print because I have a thing for that right now. Then Saturday I had the Sikora side Christmas and Josh's mom's side Christmas party. They were fun! I got a really cute picture frame that I can't wait to put graduation pictures in! I am so excited for Christmas break so I hope this week goes by fast. Not only do I love getting presents, I love giving them just as much(mainly because I get so excited about their present and can't keep it a secret for that long). After Christmas break I'm sure school will fly by like it usually does!!
I still haven't got any of my Christmas presents for people, but I guess that isn't unusual. I normally get them all like a day or two before Christmas Eve. I am excited for my brother to come home, but then once he comes home, I'm usually over it. It's just nice to have someone to chill with at the house, and we usually sit and play music together. I don't know what I am going to get him for Christmas, and he told me he wanted a new guitar. I told him to send me a link of what he wanted, and the guitar was a couple grand. I just laughed at him.
Hmm...well, my weekend was pretty boring. On Friday I went to the game and then went to a movie night which was okay I suppose. Saturday I sat at home. Sunday I sat at home and watched movies. My weekend was BORING!
I am so relieved! I finally almost finished my youth options class! All that I have left to do is edit my final. That class has been such a struggle for me, and it well be so great to have it done. I will actually get to enjoy my christmas break. This weekend my brother had some friends over at my grandparents farm. It was really relaxing to get to hang out up there.
My weekend was pretty awesome. I got to hang out with some of my favorite people and it was really fun. We went to huhot yesterday and ate a lot I still have a food baby going on. Youth group last night was super fun I kicked Matt's butt in Just Dance 2! Today on the other hand is not so fun. I dont feel good and I just wanna go home and hang out. BlEH!
Today I want to go back to bed and sleep. I have a headache and would much rather be sleeping. I had an awesome weekend again. I can't wait for the next few weeks when I can just lay down and relax. :))
I am so self conscious about my nail polish, it is not funny. I always have to have polish on, and it has to be not chipped at all. I am willing to do my nails everyday if I have to, I am just that anal about them! Also, I have to have a different color every time, and like have fun stuff on them, like today! I got some awesome new nail stickers :)
The last Monday before Christmas break! I am so excited for Christmas but it just will not be the same without any snow. I like a white Christmas. My laptop decided to crash last Wednesday so I haven't been able to blog the other two days.
I did my Christmas shopping this weekend. My family and I decided that we were going to make each other things this year because we are all short on money so I did not have much to do. I did get the most adorible jacket for Karissa's son, Karter, at Katmandu. It is green and made out of wool. I am really looking forward to Christmas Eve because that has always been the time my mom, sister, and I celebrate. Last year we did not get to but this year she is coming down on Friday so we get all Christmas Eve just us three girls :)
This day has gone by quite quickly today. For the most part that is probably because I was gone for the first few hours of the day. I wonder if the rest of the week will go by as quickly. I'm a little surprised that you didn't ask me at all about my invention, Mrs.Myers. My brother seems to be coming down with the flu, so it has become an annoyance to be around him.
It just feels like everything is moving so fast. Honestly, I just want to slow down for just a second but if I do I'll be left in the dust. It's already Christmas! I went to Lindsay's family Christmas over the weekend. It was first time I'd ever done anything like that before but it was actually a good time! I enjoyed it very much! Also, practice was kind of hard tonight which wasn't very fun. But it's all Gucci!
I'm so excited for Christmas and New Years Eve and the such! I've been thinking about some new years resolutions, but I haven't yet decided for sure on what I want mine to be. But I'll figure it out :)
