Ya'll? ... Anyway yes it's valentines day! A day of showing people how much u love them. GAG me. Even having a boyfriend days like this I still can't stand. Sure I'll dress up and go along with it, but we could just play it like any other day and I'd be just fine. So yeah.. It's been quite the weekend. Up late sleep late work. My whole schedule is off. I really couldn't wait to blog all weekend when I now realized I have no idea what to say! :) it was nice catching up on sleep for sure! I slept til 3:20pm yesterday and realized I had to work at 4. Then when I got home I went to bed. Besides sleeping this weekend I got a parking ticket for parking overnight on the street, packed up the rest of my stuff from my moms house, argued with my brother a bit, because that's what brothers are for, then played games and had people over. That's about it.
My weekend followed a really regular pattern: the hours of 8 am-9 pm were basically devoted to writing papers, doing math, cleaning, and eating. I also had DI meetings. The hours of 9 pm-1 am were devoted to Skyping with some friends from various other places. It was really nice to catch up with all of them. My friend from LA went to the beach last week because it was in the 80s. I was so jealous. I also got my hair cut and donated 11 inches to Locks of Love. They gave me the pony tail to send myself, which was a little weird.
AND BON IVER/ JUSTIN VERNON WON TWO GRAMMYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND GAVE A SHOUT-OUT TO EAU CLAIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! I have never loved west-central WI so much. This warrantd a separate post.
Free write hmm what to write about today. Well, I am not feeling the greatest and I have a ton of homework to get done. All I want to do is crawl back in bed because I feel like I could sleep for days. This weekend was not very eventful because I had so much homework and then started to not feel very good. Plus, I had to work.
I am so mad because I didn't get to sleep in at all over break. Between work and homework I was pretty busy. I did get a chance to go to the Vow and it was great because Channing Tatum was in it. This morning I had my first exam in intro. to pyschology and I feel like I did really bad. It kind of ruined my day, so now I'm crabby and can't get out of this funk. My Valentine's day hasn't been going well so far. I hope I can find a way to turn it around because I like Valentine's day. I even made cute cupcakes for my friends.
My four day weekend flew by way too fast. I had an amazing time being lazy. I had a sleep over for the first time in a long time! Made scrambled eggs like every morning. Hung out with friends whom I have not seen in years. It was a great time, but time slipped away from me before I could complete my to do list. Homework was at the bottom of the list, but it is done. I am super tired yet ready for my Valentines day!
I had a fantastic weekend. On Friday I had a riding lesson in Stillwater and I rode a Thoroughbred that I've never rode before named Charlie Brown. Then I went and rode Gem after that, and she is officially being moved to Stillwater around the first of March for the start of show season. After I rode Gem, my parents and I went out to eat. I found out later that day that I was accepted to Madison. Saturday I rode Gem and played my 13 page song for the first time at a formal performance and I actually did well. A lot of the weekend was also spent writing research papers and doing other homework, but it was overall an awesome couple of days.
Alicia Flatland is my Valentine! <3 Valentines Day is stupid! I should probably do my research paper and get it turned in. I did absolutely nothing over break except hung out with Alicia. We went to The Vow and then ate at Cancun. I told them it was her birthday so she got whipped cream shoved in her face while she was wearing a giant sombrero. It was very entertaining. We sent in my residential living form this morning. It is sad to think we only have 3 months of high school left. I wish I could go back and be a freshman again. I dont like to think about leaving for college. It makes me upset.
I love Valentines Day and Brittany Halvorson! (She added that in there by the way)haha. Well my birthday is in two days and I'm pretty excited for that. My weekend and week will be pretty busy. My brother's birthday was on Saturday, my sister's birthday was on Monday, and my great grandma is 93 today! This day could be better if I didn't have a sore throat and not be exhausted.
I had a great weekend. I had a scholarship interview Friday morning that I think went really well. After that I went up to my church camp by Fergus Falls for a High School winter retreat. It was so much fun! Then yesterday I pretty much sat around and did nothing. I am really tired today though because I went to bed late and got up early every day during break.
I have a very bad headache but at least this awful day is over! I had two research papers and a book report due today and for some reason I struggled super badly on getting enough pages in both of my reports :( At least everything is done and handed in on time. Now I am going to go home, make some italian food, (spaghetti, salad, bread) take something for this awful headache, and rest. I am also making my sister a huge valentine's package (a little late, I know) because I miss her a ton!
Well, my day and weekend were alright. I actually do not feel all that well, probably because I ate my mom's cooking over the break. There was a lot to do over the break, but I was not able to get to everything that I wanted to. At least I had finished everything that I looked at as being absolutely necessary completed. Well I guess that it was all necessary, but I should still get it all in on time.
Well, this is going to sound really really weird... But I watched the movie "The Hanna Montana" movie for this first time this weekend and it aspired me! Haha! Because I dought you have seen it, it's about Hanna and how has to make a decision if she wants to continue singing or not. Even it is a little girls movie, it has aspired me, is that if I want something that if I want something i can go for it. And that, I can do what ever I want.
I love Valentine's Day! I don't really know why, but it is seriously like my favorite holiday. When I am older, I am going to just go crazy with decorations and buy gifts for people. I am such a sucker when it comes to Valentine's Day. I really wish my valentine could be with me on Valentine's Day..Kind of sucks. Oh well. I get to see him this weekend!! I am soooo excited for that!! :)
Well, I was sick on Valentine's Day. HOWEVER, over the weekend I spent majority of my time with Thomas. I worked 10-4 both Saturday and Sunday. On Sunday after work, I went up to the cities with Tom and came back on Monday afternoon. The roads were really bad when we were coming back, so it was actually really scary. The car that was RIGHT behind us on 94 went into the ditch and we saw it happen. In total, we saw 6 accidents. One of them was a semi that was in the ditch. It was scary, but we made it home, thank god.
For the first time, I've actually had a valentine for valentines day! And it was nice! Lindsay is a sweetheart. She's nice:) we spent yesterday together and it was perfect! Valentines day isn't so bad!
