This weekend I got to go to my cabin for some much needed relaxing time!! I got my book review done so I feel accomplished! I feel like I'm going into this week all rejuvenated. I'm off to my college class this morning and the bachelors on tonight! I got my coffee and I'm ready for this week. I have a feeling it's going to be a good week! 62 DAYS!! ~ENOUGH SAID!!
I went to Uganda Rock at Memorial on Friday night. It was 8-10 bands playing a fundraiser for schools in Uganda, and most of the music was really good. It was a lot of fun. Saturday was Forensics and then home, where I crashed on the floor for a couple of hours because I was completely exhausted. Also--I got into Madison on Friday and U of M-Twin Cities on Saturday, so I guess I'm going to college. I realized that while at college, I will have to make friends with the gardeners or something because I like to do mindless physical labor when I'm super stressed--I'll probably ask them to let me transport things in wheelbarrow or something. I don't have much else to say, but I am going to keep writing because I'm listening to Beethoven's 7th Symphony on Youtube and it's not done yet, and I don't feel like actually watching the video. I'm playing it with the Eau Claire Chamber Orchestra.
My weekend was amazing. I wish it was not over though.. I waited a month for only 2 days and a couple hours, and now another month I have to wait. Why does life have to be so unfair? Ugh <- that's what I'm thinking and probably will be thinking all day.
This was a very shocking weekend. On Saterday, my mom and I went to Eau Claire and went hiking along the river. We then drove aruond town looking at areas where we might want to move to (this summer). It so nice to be able to just get out and relax for awhile. Then, long story short, Sunday came and it was not a good day at all. At least it is over with now...and I get to go to Duluth this weekend!
Ahh Monday. My weekend flew by way too fast and I cannot believe I am already at another Monday. Friday I worked and made millions. Saturday I attended Pioneer Days and did some volunteer work. Also Saturday night, I dressed up in my finest prom gear from last year and attended my first Military Ball. It was an amazing time, plus I won $50 for being the best dressed! I danced til my feet hurt that night in rejoyce. My Sunday was spent with great friends, so it turned out to be an amazing slacking day. It was a fantastic weekend and it went by way too fast. :)
I dont like Mondays. My weekend was very uneventful. I pretty much sat at home and watched movies with my brother and sister. This week is much better than last week. I do not know what to blog about.
College stuff, Graduation planning, and work filled my weekend. My mom is starting to realize that I am going to college 2 hours away and will only be home a few times during the school year. I got her set up with Skype this weekend so she will be able to 'see' me while I am gone. Worked on scholarships, which are finally starting to wind down! Planning for graduation is so much fun! Even though I know closer it will be stressful, but this weekend my mom and I looked at ideas and finalized the menu! :)
I had a pretty good weekend. I got to hang out with friends a lot. I found out I didnt get the big scholarshship that I interviewed for, but I still got the Chancellor's scholarship which is definitely better than nothing for sure. I need a band lesson really bad so I guess I'm done writing.
I had a fantastic weekend! Friday I found out I got an awesome scholarship, and I'm still ecstatic!! Friday night I hung out at my sisters and celebrated our birthdays. She bought me pretty neon colored daisies. :) On Saturday, I went to the cities. I was stuck in a traffic jam because for some reason they felt the need to block EVERY entrance to the mall besides one so one can imagine the traffic jam. I also went to iKea and looked around. On Sunday, I went to work and it was complete chaos. After work I went out to eat with my mom at Olive Garden. Yeah Buddy. My mom and I switched cars so instead of having a dumb Taurus, now I have a focus that gets wwwwwwwwwwwwway better gas mileage. I just ate another dove chocolate that Meghan bought me. <3 I feel like my luck has finally turned around...maybe I should go buy a lottery ticket.
So I finished my poem and I'm proud of it. It's a piece of art really. To me it's inspiring . Even if I say it's an epic fail. I don't care if it doesn't meet the standards Its awesome! And I know u didn't really care for it, but I know people who said they could "feel" the story and the emotions. So whatev's its awesome! Oh and I worked this weekend. Had a bad night Saturday but good night Sunday. Things are going good. Even if I don't feel good. :D
I was sick today. I hate staying home from school because it depresses me for some reason. But I guess it is more depressing to go to school and then feel progressively worse as the day goes on. Whatever the case, I don't really have anything to blog about, and I never really do.
My weekend was exceptionally short. My entire time was spent working on the book review and a German assignment. By the time it was Sunday, I felt like I was just starting Saturday. At least two large concerns are off my mind, but this week isn't going to be one that will easily let up on the stress. At least it is FFA week.
It is now Tuesday and it has snowed a little tiny bit. I have so much to get done and it feels like not enough time. I get so tired and just want to go to sleep but there is always something else that I have to do. Playing catch up from Hawaii and the homework that I get each day is really kicking my butt!
I havnt blogged in forever. These past few weeks have been extremely hectic for me and I cant seem to remember anything I need to get done. Lots of changes have been going on in my life and its been hard to adjust. Ahh graduation in less than three months!
I'm really thirsty right now. Gah. I need to go get some water, but I cannot. Oh well. This week has been awesome for me. First, we found out class rank and that was very exciting for me. Secondly, I finally figured out and ordered my personalized photo invitations from Jostens. They look really neat! Next Friday I am taking my placement testing for Normandale - kind of nervous for this. However, that means I get to miss school that day because I will be in the cities! Not only do I get to go to the cities, but I also get to stay there Thursday night - Sunday night! Even more exiciting. Graduation is coming up fast... Hard to believe that I only have less than 3 months left of high school...
Not too much is on my mind. I feel like I say all the same stuff every Monday. Like that school is going by fast and that there's not enough time. Clearly, I did not write this on Monday so I'm going to say what is really on my mind which is winning the Elk Mound game. It was crazy. I'm still living off the high from it. Itwas just a perfect night and Coach Meade gets another conference championship.
