How did you spend your snow day? Were you disappointed that we missed the play? I know that I sure was.

  1. Hmm... Well it was about 20 minutes after it said school was closed that work called. But... I didn't answer my phone all day. I relaxed all day. Didn't lift a finger. It was awesome. I caught up on sleep for sure. Woke up about 5:30 6am then fell back asleep... Woke up about 1pm got something to eat, went back to bed. Woke up about 9 pm. Stayed up til like 3 or 4 am this mOrning. really needed the Snow day. Not really wanting to work on my research paper today... I know I'm going to do horrible on it. I'm sure I'll fall asleep in class at least once today.. Man it sure feels like a Monday.

  2. Yes I was definitely disappointed that we missed the play. I was really excited for it! I spend most of the day shoveling snow for all of our shoveling jobs. It was so heavy! Now I'm really sore. It was a nice break form school though.

  3. Well, I got up at 5:30 to check the closings and found out that I had no school. I went out of my room to tell my mom and she had just found out that she did not have to work either. We went outside just to see how insane it was and then I went back to sleep and slept until noon. I got up and shoveled and then hung out with my mom for the rest of the day. I was very dissapointed that I did not get to see the play, I was actually really excited for it!

  4. I was not disappointed at all that we missed the play. Seriously, I much rather have a snow day then go to a play. I got up at like 10:30, but I had been texting and falling back to sleep before that. The first thing I did when my stepmom told me we did not have school was shut my alarm off and cheered. I layed on the couch all day and got caught up on Pretty Little Liars! Then at 5:30 I went to spaghetti dinner at Brianne's. That snow was definately needed. Btw, I need my $5 back.

  5. I was extremely happy we had a snow day. I slept in and as soon as I woke up my little cousins called and asked if I would go sledding with them. So I went sledding down a big berm with them and made a snowman family. Then we went back to their house and made cookies. After making cookies I came home and shoveled the end of our drive way, man was that a work out that was some wet-heavy snow. Then I also went over to Logan's house to work on our fischer skeleton. I enjoyed having a day off!

  6. I was happy that we didn't go to the play because I don't have any money. I wasn't sure where I was going to find five dollars, and that is the truth. So that was a relief. I had a horrible headache for half the day so the snow day came in handy. I took a nap and when I woke up, I didn't have a headache anymore. I went outside and beat my dogs in a snowball fight and then built a snowman.

  7. I am disappointed that we missed the play, but a snow day was worth it. I literally did nothing when I was stranded at my house. My road was not plowed until 6pm and my driveway did not get plowed until 9pm so I was stuck at home all day. It was a great time to be lazy though, I did not even read my book. Caught up on some television and thankfully a friend of mine was stuck with me so I was entertained all day long. I would be okay with another snow day stranded at home! :)

  8. I spent my whole snow day sleeping and laying in bed. I did absolutely nothing. The only time I left my room is when I wanted to eat. I was not planning on going to the play so I am not too disappointed.

  9. I was EXTEMILY disappointed we missed the play :( I wanted to see it so bad! But, the snow day was much needed. I got a little time to myself, but my mom stayed home from work so she put me to work ALL day :( between my brother, sister and I we cleaned the whole house. It would have taken us less time, but my brother was being a butt and not pulling his weight.

  10. I was very disappointed that we missed the play :( but not sad that we missed ocb haha. I slept until noon, hung out then went to work. I hung out with friends that night. I had a good day overall. I would def not be opposed to more snowdays....as long as the snow melted the next day haha.

  11. I woke up at 2:30 am because our front door blew open and I had fallen asleep in the living room. I stayed up until 8 am doing homework because I wasn't tired. I slept until 1:30 pm, then ate and went outside. I made a fort and a snowman, then Ellie came over and we ate some more and destroyed the fort. I did homework, practiced my violin and forensics speech, ate dinner, and talked on the phone with a friend for a while after she left. I wasn't too disappointed, because I have already seen the play. It would have been fun, though.

  12. I loved having a snow day. I actually didn't sleep all that late like I thought I would have. I cleaned the house and just relaxed. I then had a really good lunch and went to Eau Claire. I got my hair done and did a little shopping. I was kind of disappointed that I missed the play, but I much rather have the day I had yesterday then go to the play.

  13. My snow day was awfully busy. It was nice to have a break from homework, but the snow was something else to work with. My Dad and I had started around seven o'clock, and with a few breaks, we finished all the plowing around two thirty! So I had quite a lot to do. I was a little disappointing that we missed the play.

  14. The snow day was awesome but of course it fell on a day that we wouldn't really have been at school anyways. I had Cody bring me in to work because we weren't sure if my car would make it and had to work all day. After work I went back to Cody's house and spent time with him and his family. It was sure nice to have an extra day off of school that's for sure.

  16. On my snowday, I went to my grandparents. It was actually my Grandpa's birthday, so it worked out very well. His birthday only comes once every 4 years, so it was nice that I was able to spend the day with him instead of going to school :)
