3-7

The temperature outside yesterday hit 50 and we're supposed to get back into the 50s very soon. What are you most looking forward to this spring? -- besides graduating, that is.

  1. Walking and photography. Sure I could do those in the middle of winter but I wouldn't last more than 5 mins. In fact I walked yesterday after school until about 5:30. Longest I've walked in a long time. brought my camera and forgot to take pics :( oh well.
Another thing is storms. I'm talking lightning rain tornadoes!!! :) I absolutely love storms. And after it rains, PUDDLE JUMPIN' !!!
Oh can't forget work... People are starting to go on vacation which means more hours. During the summer I usually end up working overtime. I just can't wait til I'm 18.

  2. I am really looking forward to getting my college admissions decisions in approximately three weeks. I am not going to tell people where I did/ did not get in right away, though. I want to think about the schools without others' input for a while first. Even graduation seems pretty meaningless in comparison, because it just marks the end of one part of my life--college marks the beginning of the next.

  3. I am excited to just get outside and stay outside without getting cold or wanting to go inside. Spring is such a beautiful time of year to me. I love the smell in spring because its the smell of rain and freshness. You cannot beat that smell! I'm excited for spring because it means that we are almost done! It also means that we are closer to living out the rest of our lives! I am excited for spring because I am excited for summer! I am a little excited for softball and to wear something other than pants, sweatshirts, and jackets!

  4. I am most excited for that spring feeling. When you walk outside in a t-shirt, take a breath of fresh air, and that excitement of fresh and new washes over you. I love spring. Even the horrid mud puddles and lakes of water everywhere make me happy. Spring is just so rejuvenating. I love new and what wonders it brings when spring turns to summer. I cannot wait for shorts shortly after spring.

  6. I'm really excited for teh warm weather. Being able to go outside for track feels so awesome! I'm also ready for daylight savings since I'm here until at least 5:30 every night. It will be nice to be able to go home in the daylight. :)

  7. I am a big not fan of winter. Snow is cold and is like one of those awkward conversations where youre talking to someone who isnt getting the hint and stays around unwanted. I absolutely love love love spring. Going for walks with my dog, sunshine later in the day, grass, budding trees, easter, not having to wear sweatshirts every day, graduationnnnn tehe, and pretty much everything about spring makes me happy. I am def looking forward to winter being over

  8. Warm weather! By the end of this weekend, my VW Beetle should be fixed and I absolutely can't wait to drive it around with the sunroof back and the windows down :) Spring also means graduation and moving to Minneapolis. I honestly couldn't even be more excited. Last night, my Grandma gave me a bunch of "housewarming" gifts for my house up there! It made me even more excited!

  9. Rain! and thunderstorms! I am a huge fan of rain and it is always pretty rainy during the spring time. I am also looking forward to not having to wear so many layers of clothes to stay warm. I also really like the smell of the air during the spring time, it's like a mixture of rain and earthy smell. Yes, I am looking forward to spring!

  10. I am looking forward to taking out my favorite electrical devices and trying them out after a long season of non-flying weather. That is, if any of them work anymore. I also like the feeling of spring when there is that "alive" smell that is never around any other time of the year. Spring is also a break between getting firewood, and the busy summer season.

  11. I am definitely looking forward to getting outside. I miss being outside. I really want to do some shed hunting and hopefully some turkey hunting as well. I'm also looking forward to being outside with Lindsay because her and I enjoy spending our time together outside:) Mrs. M, don't you ever want to blog about what you like to do?

  12. I can not wait for spring! I love spring, because it means summer is right around the corner! There are several reasons why I just LOVE spring- track, warmness, rain, flowers, and finally being able to go kayaking. I love kayaking soooooooo much! Kayaking is like my stress reliever :) Tainter lake is close, 5 mins, away from my way, so I usually like to go about three times a week. I also like to go to different lakes just to paddle around and look at everything. There is just something peaceful about going slow around a lake or down a river and just soaking in the beauty of the water and everything around it, and in it :)

  13. I am looking forward to the warm weather and being outside more. Fresh air just seems to make you feel better and so does the sunlight! I can't wait to see flowers blooming again to get some color back into our life's. Spring just puts everyone in a better mood, I think! With the warm weather it makes it easier to run outside for track too.

  14. This spring has lots in store. No more snow because this winter has been terrible. I am going to the Nickelback concert in May. Just the thought of warm weather sounds good to me. I am not looking forward to all the water and mud that happens in my driveway once the snow melts though.

  15. I'm really excited to move out. Yesterday, I took my grandma to her eye surgery and in the meantime I applied for an apartment. It is so exciting! Yay! I think my dad is just as excited, they are already planning what to do with my bedroom. haha. Well I am also excited to start my new job and be working full time in the summer to save up a lot of money. I also hope to go to California again in the winter, so saving up money will be crucial over the summertime. :) Otherwise, just in general I am pretty excited. I'm pumped to start my own life and be on my own. I'm also excited to start college! ... and graduating as you already know.
