Since you are nearing the end of one phase of your life, here's a prompt to make you reflect: What is the greatest lesson you've learned so far in your life?
Lessons I've learned-- 1. your chances of failing are greater when you wait to do all your assignments a week before the end of the quarter. 2. When you know your teachers having a bad day, smile and tell them to have a good day; they will eaither yell at you, or you may have made there day just a little bit better. 3. When you have a substitute teacher; nothing will be accomplished. 4. We really don't have the freedom of speech, because if we say the wrong thing were in the office. 5. Don't fall asleep in certain classrooms, you may end up with everyone stareing at you. 6. STUDY for tests. 7. If you feel your teacher doesnt like you, bring them chocolate, or their favorite candy. ...you could just sit down and tell them how you feel, but more than likely they wont listen.
Prepare. Leave approximately twice the original estimated time to accomplish something. If you decide to do something, do not try to rush through it. Plan and leave enough time to do a good job. If I skip from task to task or activity to activity, unable to fully participate or give all of my energy to any of them, I have wasted my time. Pick something, and work as hard and efficiently as possible to do it well.
There have been a lot of life lessons that I have learned along the way. One of the most important would be not to take anything for granted. Something can be taken away from you faster than you can think. I have witnessed this many times and I have seen the reprocussions from this. I have learned many more that were just as important but that is one that sticks out to me.
The best lesson I have learned in life is that time never stops and it goes on. Time will never seize and you will have to go with it. Take life as it comes. Today something may be bothering you, but tomorrow it will not be as big of an issue. Enjoy every second of life. It slips through the hour glass too quickly. Especially in high school. :)
The best lesson I have learned, is to be nice to everyone. I've learned that you will not like everyone, but that does not mean that you can't be nice to them. Not everyone gets along, and it is hard sometimes to agree on things when you are with those types of people.
The life lesson that I learned would probably be...dont get involved in drama. It is really not worth it. You lose friends and people start to not like you. Nothing is worth the loss of a friend. I also learned to enjoy life day by day. And not to stress over small things because stress causes unhappiness.
One of the biggest things that I learned this year was to enjoy it!! High school goes by so fast! There are so many things that happen that can be taken badly, or you can look at the best of every situation and make it the best years of your life...Also Mrs. Myers...I learned so much from you this year, and want to thank you for improving my writing skills so much!
My greatest life lesson is: never give up because sooner or later it will all pay off! Workhard, not because your parents, techer, or coach says so, but for you! It is the greatest feeling when everything starts coming together. AND ALWAYS WEAR A SMILE!
The best lesson I have learned in my life is to be HONEST. Even if I know that I will most likely get in trouble, I try to never lie. This allows the people I am close with to trust me, and trust is one of the most important things in any relationship. I hate it when people lie, especially when I know that they are not telling the truth and they just think I am stupid enough to believe them, so I always try to be honest with people, no matter what.
I would say that my biggest life lesson would be to plan ahead, and to keep more than one situation in mind, or basically be prepared. Being prepared for things when they go wrong is always a good idea. This helps a lot, especially when you work with electronics that prove to be very nearly 100% unreliable. Or when something works out better then planned, then you can be relieved and be able to enjoy the success.
I can't sleep. :( Im having a bad day/night. Ive been working on homework for a while, sorry, no english though. Im really falling behind. ugh, I dont know what to do. Im so overwhelmed with everything. Part of me just wants to stay forever, as much as I dont like it. . . More lessons Ive learned; 1. its okay to feel pain. Its what makes us human. 2. goodbyes are easier said than done.
