Yesterday you wrote about why you wanted to stay in bed. Today let's switch it up. Write a poem about why you should get up. Use the same format as yesterday.
I need to get out of bed today, so i can get dressed for school, hooray! If i wear something blue, I just might learn something new. I'll brush my hair, maybe use some nair, I'll get nice and ready So my hand will be steady when I take this test, I'll be do my best.
One day closer till friday, Then I can sleep in my way. Today is a day for volleyball, I can't wait to watch colfax ball! The packers also play today, but I hate when they play on Thursday.. The Chicago bears are going down, because the packers have the crown. Todays another day, another day closer to Friday!
I survived yesterday. It helped me work for my pay. I'll do it again today, It is pretty much a replay. I will try my best, Pay attention for upcoming tests. I’m excited to turn in my cell, I think I did very well. Although I would like to stay in me bed, I must be a good student, and stay ahead. I will figure out my math, Last night I felt the wrath.
Get up, get up and greet the day! With whistles and bells and shouts, hooray! Its time to eat oatmeal, that delicious stuff, With lots of brown sugar, I can't get enough! Grab your lunch, head out the door, Hurry up! What are you waiting for? For once we're here its time to play, and learn and laugh and seize the day! We play our sports and see our friends, So have some fun before it all ends...
I guess I'll get out of bed today. Maybe it won't won't be lame and grey. I like school oh so much, I love school a whole bunch. Today is the day to scream and shout, Today is the day to make Elk Mound pout. We are going to win, win,win! Elk Mound belongs in a garbage bin. We will all play will skill, And crush the ball for a kill!
Today is a brand new day. Although in bed I would like to stay. I look out my window and see the sun shine I know today there will be no need to whine. I go throguh the motions, brush my teeth and my hair without causing a comotion. Today is the day those Mounders go down, we cant wait to see them frown. I guess it is time to say good bye to mom, good luck and have fun at school.
Today is a new day, In my bed I will not stay. Seeing the bright sun come up Makes me want to go pet my pup. School is really good for me, I learn new things just to get my degree. College is just around the corner, I will go to be a circus performer! I have to go to school today, Maybe I will play some competitive croquet?
I guess I will try to get up today, I will go and see what all the teachers say. School might not be all that bad, I might even know how to add.
I always get to look forward to playing football, it is definately my favorite sport of all. We will go and beat Spring Valley, and end the game with a big finale.
There are many adventures to happen when I wake, maybe I will get some birthday cake. I know my day will be very fun I will do everything that I can until the day is done.
I will try to get up today And ill go to art and make things out of clay Or for global we'll go down by bay you never know we just may And if i dont go to school today i will be tarday
I should probably get up today and face this bright shining morning. I love my bed but hey what good am I while snorring? I can't wait to run outside and feel the wind on my face. I love playing on the slide and winning my brothers race.
As much as I don't like school It's really not that bad. Being smart is what makes you cool and being stupid makes me sad. I guess that I'll get up today I might as well try.

Well, it is a good morning Even though it is pouring The birds are chirping And happiness is lurking Today will go by fast So yesterday is in the past The Volleyball team is gonna win and it's going to make everybody grin.
i quess i will get out of bed today, maybe everything will be ok. i might learn about a cell, at the end of the day i'll fell so well. maybe i'll have to solve a pun, that would just be so fun.
I have a feeling that today's a good day I get to go tutor kids and play Although they can get wild and crazy I'd rather be here then at home and lazy School is filled with all kinds of fun stuff I go every day because I can't get enough! Seeing my friends puts a smile on my face All I can think is I love this place When the day ends I become really sad But then I see my puppy so it isn't that bad
Today I must get out of bed! My poor puppy needs to be fed. Today will be the day that I find a unicorn. Or maybe today I will find a giant horn. Today brings so many possibilities Man I really hope that I do not get fleas.
Why try? The question pops in your head. It would simply be much easier to stay in bed. You cannot, though. For every day may be a trial and a chance for triumph. Staying in bed won't get you anywhere. Instead of slumbering through dreams, live them. We must at least try.
