Even though many of you posted about this yesterday, here is today's blog prompt: This is your last CHS homecoming as students. What are you looking forward to this week? How do you feel about this being your last homecoming? Discuss!
I am most looking forward to the bonfire tonight. That is always something fun to go to! Also, I am looking forward to all the games that go on Friday. It's crazy to think that this is our last homecoming and I know that when I'm in college I'm going to miss dressing up and decorating hallways and stuff. It's been a good 4 years!
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to the actual game. There is nothing that compares to Friday night football on your Senior year homecoming! Excited does not even explain the way I am feeling for Friday night. I am also super excited for the dance on Friday night, because we are going to have a REAL DJ! That is about as exciting as it gets. The pep rally is always fun and the bonfire is, too. I am going to be really sad when this week is over because homecoming is pretty much my all time favorite thing of the entire year and now I'm going to be done after this. :( I'm sure homecoming in college will be fun, but not nearly as fun as Colfax High School homecoming! :)
ReplyDeleteHomecoming is one of my favorite times of the whole school year and this year as seniors, it is the best! We set a tone for everyone else and it feels so great! The game on Friday will be so much fun no matter how it turns out. The one thing I will miss the most are the little homecoming activities on Friday. They are so fun and the classes get to be competitive. I always look forward to the bonfire/pep rally because we get to see all of the skits and have so much fun! It is so sad to think it is my last homecoming..I guess that is why we have to go all out this year as seniors! :)
ReplyDeleteRight now I really don't care about homecoming, I feel like I have more important things to think about. Maybe it is just because I am in a bad mood, but I just don't care.
ReplyDeleteI really like homecoming. I think that it is very fun and all of the people's energy is great. There are some things that I wish were different about it, but overall I am glad we have it the way we have it. Except for the fact that our dance is on Friday. That is just stupid. I am very excited for the volleyball game tonight and football Friday!
ReplyDeleteI am looking to cheering at the game on Friday. It feels really weird this being our last year and all but it is kind of a relief for me too. This year is already going by so fast and before we know it we will be graduated and out of here.
ReplyDeleteI am kind of sad that it is all coming to an end. We still have eight months left but this is our last high school homecoming! I love it though the bonfire, pep rally and football game are going to be great! I'm pretty excited to see the skit becasue we always have a good one, also having a real DJ for out last high school homecoming is really exciting! hopefully we win on Friday night because that would just be the best last Colfax High School Homecoming ever!! :)
ReplyDeleteI've never really been one much for Homecoming week. I have to work friday night so no game or dance for me. But that doesn't bother me because I was not planning on attending either of those. I'm glad it's our last homecoming. When friday ends, we're just one more week closer to graduating.
ReplyDeleteHomecoming is one of best times of the year!!the atmosphere is always amazing; the pep rally, games, bonfire, and all around school spirit! The dance should be good this year because of a new DJ! The activites on friday are always fun too, it is fun to see all the grades compete:)Its time to go all out and win!! I love homecoming and it will definetly be sad when it fully sinks in that its my last.
ReplyDeleteI am sad that this is my last homecoming! I am very excited to dress up for all of the days and maybe make a fool of myself in an eating contest. Tonight is the volleyball game and the bonfire. Hopefully I will get to decorate for a while before then!
ReplyDeleteHomecoming is pretty fun, and i really like that our class has done so well in it for the past three years. However, i am getting sick of having to organize stuff and practice skits decorate the hallways. After three years, it is not very exciting anymore.
ReplyDeleteI love dressing up for homecoming! Our skit is always bomb and I enjoy going to the bonfire to see everyone's. I am not that sad that it is our last homecoming because I do not really think that it is that big of a deal. This year is extra fun though considering that we are seniors and it is our last.
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to homecoming alot this year. It is nice to go to the bonfire but my favorit part of homecoming is on friday. On friday I run the ball back with cross country team and when we get back classes are almost done.Then I get to watch all the games. Which is also quite fun. I am alitte sad this is my last home coming but not bad.
ReplyDeleteHomecoming is a lot of fun but I'm not going to be too sad to see it go. I always love running the game ball back to Colfax with the cross country team. It's going to be a lot of fun this year but I am not going to wish I had it back.
ReplyDeleteI really like homecoming.I can't believe that this is alreaady our last homecoming.Im not really that sad even though it has been fun. I have made the most out of my previous years. I think that I am going to miss the dress up days the most.
ReplyDeleteHomecoming is a fun thing. I don't go to many football games, but I like the homecoming one.The skits are also fun to watch.
ReplyDeleteTo me i guess that it hasn't really set in yet that we are seniors. That everything that we do this year is for the last time. This week will still be fun because it's Homecoming though. Tonight will be the first time I have been to a sporting event so far this year and hopefuly I will be able to go to the football game on Friday. *fingers crossed*
ReplyDeleteThis is the third time I will be writing this blog now so I'm hoping it works! My favortie part of homecoming is definitely the bonfire and skits. Our boys have always been hilarious in the skits and last nights was funny as usual! I also love dressing up crazy for the different dress up days during the week. Lastly of course I love watching the Friday night game. I will definitely miss high school and homecoming week.:(

ReplyDeleteWell it's over now. It went so fast, but I suppose that's how senior year is. I thought the dance was awesome. It's always my favorite part. That's because I get to be surrounded by music and have fun with my friends. I can't believe there are only two dances left this year.
