Technology. Love it or hate it, it's here to stay. What impact does technology have on your life? Are you a technology freak and have to get the latest gadget or are you like me and look at your cell phone maybe once a week? What piece of technology couldn't you live without? What aspect(s) of technology do you hate?

I tend to be a bit technologically challenged. I enjoy my phone, but I really only use it to talk to people. Its a droid so I'm sure it can do many wonderful things, but I don't care to find out. I think people are too obsorbed in their technology.
ReplyDeleteSometimes technology just sucks. Like when I try to blog from my phone and it decides to delete my long responses before I get the chance to publish them.
I hate all technology. I do not understand computers at all and they frustrate me. I would rather be outside than inside watching television or on the computer. The only thing that I do like a little bit is the ipod. Music is nice. Other than that I think that we should all go back to being Native Americans and live like they do.
ReplyDeleteI like technology, but I would never want to get to wrapped up in it. It helps me keep in touch with my mom even though she is states away and it saves time doing it. However, some technology can be dangerous and we should probably avoid those most of the time. The one thing I don't think I could live without is my cd player or my mp3. Music is what keeps me sane and without it I don't want to know what would happen (and yes, I still have a plain old cd player).
ReplyDeleteTECHNOLOGY IS AMAZING!!! It's...ummmmm...Very important to me right now...so to speak...I'm soooooooo incredibly happy this week and there's not a chance in the world that I'd be feeling this way without my phone! I'm hoping and praying that it keeps working for me tonight! If it doesn't, I'll be at school tomorrow in sweats, not talking much, and looking pitiful...
ReplyDeleteI. Hate. Technology. With. A. Passion. Computers are my worst enemy. I just want to live in the good ol' days with the indians. Or I would be pretty content with even living in like the 60s or 70s. I hate this time period. I wish nobody had phones or computers. They get in the way of everything and make everything worse.
ReplyDeleteTechnology is okay. I have mixed feelings about it. I love that we have so many opportunities nowadays and that everything is so different. For example, I got my acceptance letter for college through e-mail. There was a link then to a video of the president of the college saying I was accepted. Technology is cool in that way. In other ways, I don't like technology because I would've liked the feeling of "surprise" or "excitement" to see or talk to someone I haven't seen in a long time. Something I couldn't live without: Probably the portable music players you can have! Those are some of the best inventions ever. :)
ReplyDeleteTechnology is great when it actually is working properly. Some of the technology we have these days is overrated in my mind. I use my phone all the time it is the only way that I am able to keep up with all of my friends from different schools. Technology has a great effect on my life.
ReplyDeleteI actually love technology! I love learning new things about all of it. Computers are really fun to learn with and I enjoy messing around with all other things. I think that for everyone technology is alright, it has become a hassel to some people with all of the new items coming out every twenty seconds. I could not live without my cell phone. I know it sounds terrible, but it is how people keep in touch everyday and I could not live without it.
ReplyDeleteI really like technology it helps us keep in touch with people that are far away from us without sending letters that may take a week to get to them we can send an e-mail that will take a minute. Also how much phones are changing and how much you can do with them compared to just one year ago. It kind of sucks that it is always changing though becasuse then I never know when to get something new. Like buying a new iPod I would like to get one but once I do there will probably be a new one that will come out in a couple months. Really I think I could live with out my iPod for a while maybe not at first but then I would get over it. My phone though, I really like having that.
ReplyDeleteI would say that I'm a technology freak. I am always on the computer or using my cell phone. My cell phone would probably be the one thing I couldn't live without. I communicate with so many different people with it. It's also my way of checking facebook, twitter, and my e-mail. I think I could handle not having my phone for a few days, but after then I would go crazy and want it back.
ReplyDeleteI believe that I would call myself a "technology frek" because I am one of those people that always have their phone with them. I love technology for the fact that you can communicate with people who live far away, or people that you don't see very often because they are too busy. However, I think that technology can also be a bad thing because you can have people misread what you say or you find out things you don't want to know. I also think that technology causes a bunch of unnessary drama. I think the world would be a different place and i would hate it!
ReplyDeleteTechnology is important to me, but not as much as other people. I have to check my phone more than once a week to see if I am needed for work or if my family is trying to talk to me. I have a pretty old phone because I do not need the newest stuff. I could not live without my phone and computers. I do not like phones that talk to you.
ReplyDeleteI hate alot of technology. I am bad at using computers. I do not even have a cell phone they just make me mad when I use them. I do like Xbox and cars though. The car is probably the most important technology to me or else it would be hard to travel and stuff.I think a car counts as technology anyway.
ReplyDeleteCalling myself a technology freak would be quite a stretch but I work my way through most technology I encounter. I like having technology and I believe it assists me in day to day life, but sometimes I just love to get away from all of it. The hardest thing to get by without is my cell phone because that is the primary way people communicate with me.
ReplyDeleteI love technology, its great to be able to contact people with new cellphones and the new tachnology helps with energy problems such as solar energy.. I like getting the next new thing. I would have to say I couldnt live without my cellphone. It keeps me in touch with everyone and keeps me busy when im bored.
ReplyDeleteWell obviously I use the computer everyday to do a blog, which I normally get distracted from and go on Facebook. So it's nice to have technology sometimes but other times it just becomes a time consumming distraction. I'm pretty sure that I would servive without technology, the only thing that really comes in handy is my phone, and even that I don't use to often anymore. The technology that I do have isn't very up to date either. I have a first generation Ipod nano, a phone that has been broken for the past year or so, and a kindle that I only use to read from time to time. I manage to go without it when I'm grounded, so I'm pretty sure that I don't need it.
ReplyDeleteI love technology, i use it everyday. There are about 4 things that i use daily that being my phone, Ipod, Computer, and Xbox. I think my Ipod is my favorite i never leave the house without it because i love to have music where ever i go.
ReplyDeleteTechnology is pretty cool. It helps people communicate and stay in touch. It's nice to have ipods, and cars and computers.However, if they had never been invented, no one would complain that their computer froze.
ReplyDeleteI like technology but I don't always like using it. There are great aspects like how easy it is to get information, but sometimes it just makes things more complicated. I like to have my phone and computer because i am kind of addicted now. It is good for everyone, especially kids, to have some time away from it though.
ReplyDeleteI like technology, hovever it does have down falls. I find technology fascinating! There is so much it can do and accomplish. It ranges from cell phones and computers, to health devices. It is all over the world and helps and affects everybody wether they think it does or not.
ReplyDeleteI like technology but I know that I might be able to live without it. There are some things that I just can't live without like the internet, tv or my mp3. If I had no music I would be pretty disapionted. Other than that I don't care for my cellphone or anything else.
ReplyDeleteI like technology like lights and other eletricity and stuff. I guess that I couldn't live without my labtop. I like to waste time on it. I guess that I would need internet too then.
