  1. I am afraid to look in my fish tank this morning. Kovu had spent a majority of his time last night dipping his paws into the tank and hitting my fish. When he did this, my dragonfish was smart enough to avoid the surface, but my guppies swam around his paw and tried to bite him. After an hour of listening to the splashing of his paw, I finally got worried that Kovu would catch a fish so I tossed him out of my room and shut the door. But then the precatory meows started and he was pawing at the door. I caved and let him back in. He played with the fish a while more, but then I could hear him creeping about my room. I feared that he was going to attack me for locking him out so I hid under my covers and soon fell asleep. I woke up with a terribly sore neck because Kovu crawled under the blankets with me and pushed my head off my pillow. I'm okay with that though, cause it's been a month since he last slept with me.
Oh, and there goes Kovu back on my fish tank.

  2. Well I had a pretty great 3 day weekend! I finally got to see Pitch Perfect and it was pretty awesome and on Saturday I got to go see little baby twins and they were adorable! I love babies. Then Sunday was a typical football watching day and at night I went to the Halloween hallow thing in eau Claire and went through some haunted houses...my favorite! However... Today there is the fall concert and I am not looking forward to that at all. Not one bit. I really don't think we are ready, so it shall be interesting!

  3. This weekend was one of the greatest ever. Cross country ended the best way it could for both teams. Girls placed 7th and boys placed 6th. I love both of my teams so much and I am actually going to miss it! We stayed overnight Saturday night and that was crazy to say the least.

  4. I watched my best friends run in cross country this weekend. It was a blast. I am so proud of them! Sometimes I wish that I was in cross country because I love everyone on that team. I also spent some nice quality time with my mama and sister on sunday. We ate cookie dough, cookies and Papa Murphy's pizza that was in the shape of a pumpkin. Good times, good times.

  5. This weekend went by really slow. The only things I really enjoyed was a bonfire I went to on Saturday and shopping for a wedding outfit for my cousins fiance's wedding. That was really fin but she brought her children with and her daughter was all over the place. I can't wait for the wedding. I get to make the cake and I have to make it this comming weekend. I really need to figure out what I'm going to do with it though. This week is going by way to fast with all the things that are going on.

  6. I had a good weekend, I went to Applebees on Thursday night with Chelsea, Delanie, and Lexi. Friday we went to the mall and Frogiyo, I really like their frozen yogurt! The rest of my weekend was pretty good. I saw a Coyote on Sunday and got really sad cause it was stuck in a trap and it just looked at us with sad puppy dog eyes. Today really sucks though, I dont want to be here at all, everything is making me upset. I can't wait to have it be Thursday and go to volleyball state Friday and Saturday!

  7. Yeah, so. Today I woke up late. Not only did I wake up late, but I was sick when I woke up. I came to school because if I didn't come to school, I would miss my participation points in Algebra 3. I applied to two more colleges last night if that makes it any better.. I don't know. I am tired, stressed, and sick. This is not how I would like my week to begin. Not to mention I have my last fall concert tonight. Bittersweet. Mostly bitter, only because of the mood I am in today.

  8. Well this past weekend I took my ACT, so I'm nervous to see my results! I also went to Valley Scare on Saturday which was freezing, but a lot of fun! I also managed to accidently hit myself in the face while on a rollercoaster, so now I have a black lip and it seems to be getting worse. This Friday I'm going on a college visit to St. Scholastica to meet the track coach there and talk about their nursing program. Hopefully it will be a fun day!

  9. I LOVE MY TEAM IN CROSS COUNTRY!!! Oh my gosh this weekend was the best time ever! I am so sad that it is over, but extremely glad that it ended so fantastic! I will miss it so much. Anyway, the weekend was, well, crazy. We all stayed up very late and there was some wild people. I will not name any names (Matthew Almquist). I am so happy and I love that team and all my senoir teammates!

  10. I do not want to be here. I want to be home in my bed or at the doctor. I can't decide if I should go to the doctor or not. I also want some hot chocolate really bad. My face is itchy. I brought lunch today so I hope the school lunch is not yummy because I will be upset.

  13. Well state cross country was a TON of fun! We went up Saturday morning and ran. Sadly the boys didn't do as well as we were hoping but the girls impressed everyone! Afterward, the team went out for pizza and then proceeded to the hotel. After three trips to Walmart and as many to the pool, we played risk for four hours and partied until four a.m. It was a great time and I wouldn't trade running at state with my team for anything.

  15. A letter to a friend from Nebraska...

OK...I finally got around to writing this! My list of excuses:1) being extremely busy 2)homework everywhere 3) didn't think I had your address, but apparently I wrote it on a sticky note so I wouldn't lose it...just found it...Ironic? Yup. 4) Whenever I had time, I could never remember that I needed to do this. I'm going to blame a small part of that on the concussion still hanging around from football season.
Anyway, today's a studay hall in calculus and I decided that this was a whole lot more important than long division...surprise surprise...Pleaaaaaase tell me that senior year gets faster! It feels like half the year should be over by now but it's only the end of October! I think I'm going to die if teh year doesn't seep up and I don't get any WILS in me until Winter (which my parents are pretty dead set against me going to, but I'll find a way! Found a way to work through it to make both Summers and last year's Winter). The closest I'll be coming until then is meeting up with one very special one on November 10th. Sooooooooooo pumped for that! These two weeks are going to feel like forever! They already do! That being said, it's going ot be worth every second of it!
The other thing weighing on my mind all school year has been colleges. How is anyone supposed to make a decision on where to go?! How did you decide on Creighton? Right now I've already applied to Minnesota and La Crosse and been accepted to both while having half-finished applications to Stanford and Madison. Huge range of atmospheres and I'm really lost on how to decide between the four. I mean, I have until February, but I prefer to have some sort of clue by then. Most people I know who have been accepted to schools already made a decision and I feel waaaaaaay behind when it comes to the process.
Then, my not very important question warring pointlessly in my head is "Am I extremely excited for college or just extremely excited to get out of Colfax?" On that note, how is college??? Everything I've seen from your twitter and everything makes me soooooooo jealous! I mean, I understand that there's a whole lot of work tha thas to be done, but it seems like ever that isn't all that bad!
I also have to apologize for a few things...1) This is really difficult to read. 2) It took me FOREVER to write this! 3) Not exactly the fanciest paper...it's all I have...4) I have zero clue whatsoever what to write about...never done this before... and 5)...I don't know...but I really feel like I should come up with a 5...oh well...

    Miss you jail guard!
    Reed

  16. I was really happy this weekend because for the first time in practically a year, I got to go to my older borther's house. I had to babysit his kids for a little while, but I also got to hang out and play videogames with them all weekend. The only real downside is that now I have Mickey Mouse Clubhouse stuck in my head. My niece likes that show way too much.

  17. Since my weekend was slow and boring I guess that I'll just tell you that today, while practicing for tonights concert, I tripped on the riser and fell. While I was falling I put my hand on the shell sourounding the risers to get my balance but I soon was reminded that some of the peices on the shell arn't actully attached and I continued to fall. Unfourtunatly for Reed, he just happened to be standing behind that peice that I hit and it smacked him in the face. I'm sure that that is just a sign that tonights concert is going to go great... can't wait (sarcasm).

  18. I guess that I will talk about my weekend. I really wish I would have gone paint balling with every one on friday, but I had to work. Saturday I worked even longer and watched college football. I did not do anything different of Sunday.

  19. This weekend was very relaxing. I baked a lot of things. First I made cupcakes with strawberry frosting and filling, and the next day i made eclairs. But by the end of the weekend I had eaten so much junk food that i wanted to die. Or just never eat again. Whenever i do this sort of thing i make a promise that i am never ever eating junk food again. Somehow that never works out...
