11-1

What are some of your pet peeves? (Things that drive you absolutely crazy.) I have several, but I think that my biggest pet peeve is when people can't take responsibility for their actions. I just want to say, "You made a mistake, confess, and take the consequences." It really irks me when someone blames someone else for something s/he has done. My "favorite" was the student who blamed ME because HE got caught plagiarizing. He actually said to me, "Well, you shouldn't have been looking for it."!! You get the idea, vent about your pet peeves today.

  1. There is one thing that I really cannot stand- spit. It is so gross and needs to be kept in your mouth. Others do not want to see it and they should not. I cannot even handle thinking about it.

  2. Split ends is something that really bothers me. I can't stand when I have split ends, it's like an automatic horrible mood every day until I get my hair cut. I have more..I just can't think of them right now! :(

  3. My biggest pet peeve is when people arent tolerant of other peoples point of views or judge people before they know them. I get really crabby when I hear someone talking about how bad of a person someone is just because they have made bad decisions or live a different life style. Ughh I'm getting crabby just thinking about it. It's like seriously, you aren't perfect so shut up and you don't know that person at all so mind your own business. The way they live their life isn't making yours worse so don't worry about it.

  4. One of my biggest pet peeves is when people put empty containers back in the cabnet or fridge. I mean seriously you took the time to put it away you could have just thrown it away. Another one of my pet peeves is when people throw things at me to do last minute. Like when you have a partner for a project and they say they are doing their part and then a few days before it is due they tell you they havent started. Then I'm left to finish the project since they dont know anything thats going on. Those are just two of my pet main pet peeves.

  5. I have a lot of per peeves, I actually made a list of them the other day. I really hate when people stop in the middle of the hallway and talk. Really can you not walk and talk or at least more out of the way!? I also really get itiated by slow drivers, like the speed limit changed to 55 a mile ago and you're still going 45, lets go! theres a lot more too, I think I get peeved about a lot of things. Oh while I'm thinking about it I also hate when people talk about things infront of me but can't say what they are talking about. Don't talk about it if other peopel can't know!

  6. I absolutely HATE when people interrupt me when I am talking. There is really no reason that anyone should be rude when I am telling story and they cut me off! My gosh, just stop and wait a little minute until I am done! So now when someone does that, I just stop talking and do not even finish my story. I will not deal with you interrupting me and then start telling it again when you obviously dont care enough to listen to me!!!!

Another one of my pet peeves is my brother. He never ever listens to me. I am so nice to him and he never appreciates it. Sometimes I wanna kick him in his tooshy. Oh man anyone want a new brother?..he is free!

  7. I have plenty...Was just talking about this a couple days ago...When people say often and pronounce the t, when people get you, your, and you're and there, their, and there mixed up, when people say "I seen..." (I assume they wont be finishing that sentence with "...the inside of a book"), when people tell me the joke I told them a week or two later, when someone (often from somewhere else) knows a little about something (more than anyone in their school) and assumes they also know more than I do and try to BS me making things up that sound like they would make sense but I actually know the whole story, people who beat a dead horse (that's a HUUUUUUUUUUGE one recently...), people who assume that I want to hear the song stuck in their head but in their voice and without music, when people are sarcastic but just subtlely enough to the point where my oblivious self isn't sure whether its a complement or being a total (jerk), when people chew gum with their mouth open, sophomores who complain about freshman, arrogant people, people who mess up the difference between you and me and you and I (it's whatever the phrase works with without the "you and" in it for those who don't know...Example, "You and I want muffins" and "Do you remember when she said that to him and me?"), when people don't understand the difference between its and it's, when people get offended too easily, when people thought they could pull off cheating off of me in my own mom's class, when people complain on twitter or facebook about things I do on their that annoy them, when people sing along with a song and don't know all the lyrics, when people complain about MY music in MY car, when people think they have tons of friends but they only alienate everyone because all they do is complain about all of their "friends", when people quote people incorrectly, when people comment on the way I look when it isn't good (just keep it to yourself, I know I look like (crap) when I do), when people with natural talent throw it away, when people get tons of sleep and say "I'm soooooooo tired", when the smartest kids say "I flunked that test" when everyone knows you got an A (for the record, I only say I did badly, never say I failed...), when people use other people's words (unless its cute...then you're good...), when people do something and immediately complain when someone does it back, when people dish it out and can't take it, things that are in my periforal vision that seem slightly in the wrong place and it gives me a nasty headache, when people assume I'm going to be an English teacher, when people tune out in the middle of my rants (that means you reader!), people who don't believe in brushing their teeth (*cough* Cole *cough*), when people give things to people who just got here after you work you (butt) off for four years, when people assume I want to hear the catchy new pop song and it replaces the song in my head that I like with "Call Me Maybe", when I wait until the last minute and people harp on me assuming I won't get it done when I know I still have plenty of time, when people give me nicknames I don't approve of, when somebody assumes I can fix something when I have no idea what I'm doing and then calls me worthless, when people don't appreciate extra effort, when people who don't deserve things get them, when people walk over people who don't really know how to stop them, people who don't realize that the easiest way to get by in a small school coming in is to just keep your mouth shut for a while, when people ask me to come up witha story on cue (I can't, I need some sort of prompt (Ctd.)

  8. when people don't invite me to something and then talk about it in front of me, when I finish a story and someone says "no one cares...", when people get offended because I don't know how to take compliments, when people question "how are YOU friends with (insert name here)?!" because I'm not that popular here, when people talk about how good-looking my cousins are when I look almost the exact same in some ways (same eyes as Jake and Elliott, those who recognize those names understand what I'm talking about..it's awkward for me...why? because I'm an awkward person...), when people assume I can do something that I can't, when people rush me to learn things quickly and catch on quickly, when someone hints at something (I am COMPLETELY OBLIVIOUS!!! I'm not going to get something unless you flat out tell me!), when I embarrass myself and someone points it out to me (I KNOW I EMBARRASSED MYSELF! You don't have to tell me!), when someone tells me I'm so much like someone when I'm not, when people tell me I'm bad at something and give me nothing to fix it with, when people get PO'd when I forget their birthday (sorry, I know mine, my family's, and my girlfriend's...that's it!), and finally when people think I'm lying to them when I tell them something that's hard to believe...I could go ON and ON and OOOOOON...but I'll stop here. (I'm kind of a hateful person after looking at all of this...also, I had to shorten this greatly...apparently, there's a character maximum on here...)

  9. I have many pet peeves. One of them is people that have a lot of them and can't deal with their lives and be happy. ^^ Also I do not like it when I confront someone about something that they did wrong, and they turn it around to make it something that I did wrong. They try to make me feel guilty for being mad at them when I would not be if they would have not dissapointed me in the first place.

  10. I can't stand when people have such negative attitudes in their life. Many times I will hear people complain about how much their life sucks, when in reality it's not that bad. They don't realize how good their lives are compared to some other people living in our world. Many people or children don't have a stable home or food to eat everyday. Sometimes our society becomes a little too greedy so we need to appreciate what we have!!

  11. I have a lot of pet peeves...and sometimes it can be really bad how annoyed I get. Right now, the biggest pet peeve I have is all of those stupid politcial commericals! And the constant talk about politics is just getting over talked about and super annoying. I have a pet peeve when people lie. I do not like liars at all. Another is when people ditch other people.. if you didn't want to hang out with someone, don't schedule something and change your mind later.Chewing with your mouth open, inturrupting people, being rude and disrespectful to teachers and older people.

  12. To continue...2nd hour ended so I had to stop...When people talk about me thinking I can't hear them, when people drive slowly, when people tell me I'm a bad driving when I'm hauling them around for free, people who are (jerks) just to be jerks, slow texters, people who nag on me about what I eat (not eating enough vegetables, eating too much junk), (before two weeks ago,) girls who talk about how perfect of a boyfriend you would be and then stay with their (butt) of a boyfriend using me as a venting person, people who come to me with ALL of their problems (if I hear something I can help with I will, but otherwise I'm sorry if I can't help but there isn't really a whole lot I can do about that...), when I do something nice and people insult what I do or the way I do it, when people talk across me (if you want to talk to a friend, take two steps over instead of talking through me), when people watch me while I work or write or do things, people who talk in the bathroom (shut up and stare at the wall like the rest of us), people who talk a big game and do nothing, when people don't appreciate what they have, when people talk through instructions and then complain about not giving them correctly, when people assume I'm a human map (I know a lot of people around the state, that doesn't mean I know every high schooler in Wisconsin), when people take pride in things that they reaaaaaaally shouldn't take pride in, when people assume I know where someone lives, when people believe anything they see or hear, when people talk in a group about an inside joke I'm not aware of, when people hop on bandwagons (mostly for sports), people who start a conversation and then don't continue it, people who take things waaaaaaaaay too seriously, when people leave me out of things I was involved in when talking about it (was I forgotten?...bad. Was I left out because they didn't want to say they were with me?...worse), when people play music from their phones in public (I don't need to hear your music. That's what headphones are for), when people spell basic words wrong, when people keep pushing after I say no politely, when grandparents comment on every Facebook post and picture they see, when people pass up a good thing only to give the opportunity to some (jerk) who looks better than I do, when people seem surprised when I tell them something and they didn't think I was capable of doing something like that, when people talk to me with headphones on, when people tell me my music is too loud (there's a reason! I don't want to hear anything else! You're kind of doing the opposite of what I want...if it's loud enough for you to hear, I apologize), when people tell me how I should do something that has scam written all over it (when something's too good to be true, it isn't. Somebody's hiding something), when people assume I'm a (wuss) when I say I hate scary movies, when people call me immature, when people rush perfection, when someone I really don't want comments on statuses and/or posts on Facebook, when people assume that I like them because I'm too nice to tell someone that they annoy the (snot) out of me, when people get impatient,

  13. when people wrongly accuse me of random things and don't believe me when I say it wasn't me, when people are too concerned with their reputation or record instead of doing the best they can, when people undervalue obvious things, people who say "that's dumb" or "that's stupid" to every idea presented but refuse to help out, when people (often freshman) think that the more the cuss, the cooler they are, people who refuse to talk about something that upsets them that I do (if you don't tell me, I can't fix it!), when people in COLFAX think they're ghetto fly (or whatever the (heck) they say...We are as far from any ghetto anyone can get!), people ask what I'm doing when it doesn't concern them in any way, shape, or form, people who only wear sports jerseys after that team wins, people who say there's nothing wrong (everyone knows there is), people who do things to try to get people to ask about it (i.e. muttering something only as you pass people in the hallway), people who cheat on a significant other, guys who think it's all about the 3-letter S word (making time), people who critique the decisions I make for MY life, People who draw on/write in my things (NO! I don't want certain 5th appendages on the paper I have to turn in next hour!), people with a short fuse, people who distract for their entertainment...hour's ending...I'll finish later...

  14. I don't like it when people leave the TV or lights or something on in the house and I getr home and It has been on for hours. But worse of all is when my brother or sister leave my Xbox on for a long time I mean it could rune it and that would anger me and they would have to purchase a new Xbox that they would never play.

  15. I dont have many pet peeves. One of my few would have to be people chewing with there mouths open or chewing gum like that. One of my biggest pet peeves is a not a thing but a certain person. This (nameless person who has blogged before me in this blog) is a total hipocrate. All she does is say things that is her pet peeve and does those things all the time. She is just all around annoying and that is why this person is my pet peeve. I will not say who she is because that would be rude, but lets just say we all know who it is.

  16. One of my pet peeves is when people talk in text lingo. OMG I can't believe he did that lol. You sound uneducated and dumb. I also hate the fact that people watch shows like Jersey Shore and Honey Boo Boo. Actually the people that watch it aren't nearly as bad as the people in the shows. Knowing they get paid for acting stupid is annoying. Hmmmm, more pet peeves. Double negatives annoy me as do people that are always negative. Seriously, quit being such a downer. A big pet peeve is when people blog four times in one day and fill it with a huge amount of pet peeves! JK Reed, lol. OMG, I am turning into an ultimate pet peeve. Man, that really sucks. I hate myself. I ain't not gonna go watch some Jersey Shore. Ttyl Mrs. Myers!

  17. I have a few pet peeves, all of them are kind of insignificant things, but they dtill bug me. Like when my brothers are eating breakfast and they leave the pantry door open while I'm eating. I will stare at it until I bugs me so much that I just have to get up and close it. When I'm at work my biggest pet peeve is when the people that I work with put the menus upside down. If I try and pick up an upside down menu it opens up and everything inside of it falls up and that is very imbarising when it happens in front of a group of people. Also when I'm at work it bugs me when things that need to be writen down in my area are not in my handwritting. We have a board that I write who has what table on and if someone writes it for me, I MUST erase it and rewrite it myself. I absolutly hate when the homework that I haven't done yet is sitting in a pile on the left side of me on the table. It has to be on the right in order of importance, otherwise it bugs me and I'm really not sure why. My Dad asked what I was writing about and I told him "My pet peeves." He then started rattelling off a bunch more that I haven't mentioned and just don't have the time to because I have to go to work soon. I guess that I had more things that irk me than I thought.

  18. I don't like it when people crack their neck and/or back, fingers toes ect. I hate how anytime I want to watch something on the TV, our television stops working.

  19. Yelling, unnecessary violence, not being able to control your own emotions or think clearly, forgeting everything such as my other pet peeves. I know there are more, but I can't remember them.

  20. One of my biggest pet peeves is people chewing with their mouths open. I mean how hard it is it to shut your mouth? Also when people make noises while eating, like making bubbles with their straws or smacking their gum. I just want to go up to them am rip the gum right out of their mouth, it is so annoying!Another is that I am kind of a freak when it comes to my space. It has to be a certian way, and order, it is neaxt for the most part, but mostly just organized. One of my biggest things that really just drives me crazy is cars with blue headlights, i mean they are illegal people. Everytime i have someone behind me or I drive past someone with blue lights it just makes me mad, and i get an instant headache.

  21. My biggest pet peeve is when someone just stops talking to you and they dont tell you why. It really bothers me because you dont know if you did something wrong, or if they have something going on. Ugh!!! I just dont like it when people walk right out of your life like you never existed or ment anything to that person. It hurts.

I don't like annoying people. They just bother me. They are the people who never shut up, and all they do is talk about themselves. Also they eat with their mouth open. I also don't like people who eat and talk at the same time. I also have a problem with people who try to sound like they know what they are talking about, but really they are just stupid. I also dislike it when people keep trying to prove that they are right, but really they are just a hopeless cause. Also people who don't pay attention in class and don't listen, but complain that the don't know how to do the homework bother me. I also don't like it when people don't do what they are suppose to do, but still get a good grade. Just to name a few...

Also I absolutely hate that you have to "Prove that your a human" when you post this.

  23. I hate how deceiving Koalas are. They look so cute and cuddly and they make you just want to squeeze them, but they are vicious creatures that will rip your face off. If only they were friendly i would carry one around with me in one of those baby carriers that straps to your chest.

  24. I can't think of any pet peeves at the moment. I try not to have any, because they'll only ruin my day when someone does one of my pet peeves. But I'd have to say that when people are disrespectful of their elders really bothers me.

    ReplyDelete
  25. One thing that really bugs me is when people ruin a perfectly nice dressy outfit with a black columbia fleece. Wearing one of those with a skirt defeats the purpose of dressing up. Also when people don't wear tights with said skirts in the WINTER. Its cold and, lets face it, you are probably really pale. No offense to anyone who does that though. Its just my opinion.
