You have been put in charge of building a time capsule. This capsule will be opened 500 years from now. What items are you going to include within this capsule? Think about such things as: what items are important to us? how do we communicate? who are our leaders/idols? what do we do for recreation? etc.

I would include: a cellphone, basketball, volleyball, and running shoes. I would also put in a a lot of food so the person would know that I love food very much. I'd maybe put in a picture of fat people because that is what our society is today. Oh, Id also put a pillow and blanket in. I just love sleeping.
ReplyDeleteCell phone, tapes and recordings of TV programs including sports events. I'd also have to include food and some book.
ReplyDeleteI would put in a cell phone, some movies that are popular now and maybe write about what life is like now. I'm sure there will be some way of finding out who the leaders were now in some history book or website. I would also put a thing of spam in the capsule just for fun.
ReplyDeleteI would include a cell phone and iPod. Including pictures of all different kinds of food and people. Also I would include pictures of extreme sports and other outdoor activities.
ReplyDeleteI would include a laptop, packed with a bunch of photgraphs of the latest styles, the links to my facebook and twitter, and my cell phone. They would obviously think that this stuff is ancient. I would say I would include my softball bat, but that thing is being buried with me, so..sorry.
ReplyDeleteI would include a iphone, a laptop most importantly. I think in 500 years people probably won't even know what those things are because they will probably have chips inplanted in them that will let them do anything that they want. I would include a picture of our president, and pictures of other significant things that are going on and what is popular like the websites and clothes.
ReplyDeleteI would include a paper with all of the prices so they would be able to compare to how it will be. I would also include a video of what my life is now and how my everyday life is. I would include my favorite songs and movies. It would include Jana Kramer and The Hungar Games. I would also include a book, because that could bew worth a lot then.
ReplyDeleteI would put in a computer or laptop probably to show how it was now and that would probably seem really old by then. I would put in a cellphone so that they now how we comunicate. I would also add a car if it would fit so they would see how we traveled.
ReplyDeleteI would make up a story that could be considered history. I would make it really cool so they future would want to live in the past. Then I would put in really silly things like a bobby pin and video film and make up things about them to confuse the people of the future. It would be great.
ReplyDeleteI would make the time capsule huge so I can fit a car in it for recreation. I would put books in to communicate. They would be written in English, Lation, and all the romamnce languages. We could put a computer in and some food from our time in.
ReplyDeleteI would put many things in the time capsule. One thing that I would put in would be a cell phone so that people could see how much they evolve. I would probably put in some pictures of our leaders such as Obama and Scotty Walk. Onoe more thing that I would put in is just a current book so that people would know how we write and our style.
ReplyDeleteAs odd as it might sound, I would put a ton of books and movies in it. We have lost so many previous works that if I had a chance to, that is what I would preserve. I would put in a bunch of classics mixed with my favorites and hope that whoever found it thought they were treasures.
ReplyDeleteTo be honest i have no idea what i might need there. Probably i will take a dictionary, just in case, some money( they might change currency, but even in that case i might need them just to show how money used to look like). Besides mentioned above i would rather take some clothes( i will definitely take winter coat, who knows, there might be even colder than now! ). And of course i will definitely take my camera and laptop.
ReplyDeleteAs far as it concerns cell phone, i would rather leave it here. I already have a laptop, so i will not use it there, besides it might not work there.
There are many things that I would like to put in a time capsusule.the basics like a cell phone, books, movies, and literature so that they would know how things were in thins time period. But I know one thing for sure I would put a picture of Channing Tatum so everyone in the future would know of his hotness!!
ReplyDeleteI would fill the capsule with toast and pictures of myself. I would make myself seem like a god that ascended from the heavens and wiped away all of earth problems. Then the future people would be all like," Hey this is the greatest person who ever lived lets resurrect him". Then once im alive again they will most likely give me complete control again and then I will be the supreme leader of earth and all other plants that we live on in the future.
ReplyDeleteI would fill the time capsule with things that I think are cool. I would first put a nice shiny switch blade and a jar of honey into the jar. it would be cool to see if the honey would go bad, because people say it never will. It would be cool to put a dictionary, to see how the English language has evolved.
ReplyDeleteI would put in some matches and a sharp knife because that is all you need to survive if you are smart. Allof the technology is very unimportant to me so I would not transport it to the future.I would put in some of my toys from when I was a kid because those were so much better than where the toy world is going now.
ReplyDeleteI would put a few of my favorite books in there, just to show the future humans that books exist. I think I would also include an iPod to show how we listen to music. I would put some of my elementary school art in there. It doesnt matter if it is good, people will only care that it is old. I will definitely include a Twinkie because it is going out of business and I hear that those last forever. I could put in dance shoes and pictures of my home and school.
ReplyDeleteI would put a smart phone and an ipod with all the music in today's world on it. I would put a poster of justin beiber in there for how ridiculous girls love him. Also a bunch of football cards, pictures, and tape recordings of jordy nelson. He is my favorite and everyone needs to know it!
ReplyDeleteI would put a cell phone in there and probably a list of all my favorite TV shows, sports teams, and also my favorite music. I would also put pictures in it of the best looking men during our time, Luke Bryan, Channing Tatum,and of course Ryan Lochte.
