11-30

We've all gone to conferences, conventions, or on field trips for our classes, activities, or jobs. What is the best/worst conference, convention, or field trip you've ever attended and why?

  1. The best field trip that I ever attended was to Como Zoo in 5th grade. Garrett and I were in love at this time so it was just a magical trip with him. We ate snow cones together and he even bought me a penguin. What a man. We rode the bus back together and we even sat in the same seat. This day was probably the highlight of life.

  2. The worst field trip I ever went on was to Como Zoo in 5th grade. I was dating Jarod Magolan, even though I thought he was gross. I only liked him as a friend, but him and Garrett were best friends and me and kenna were best friends so that it just worked out. Then on the bus ride home, he kissed me on the cheek. I wanted to puke in my mouth. It was all slimy and just not okay. I will never forget.

  3. Hahaha, I'm seriously laughing out loud at Kenna's blog because all of that statement I remember perfectly. My favorite field trip was probably to..I don't remember any field trips at all that were good. If I do remember any, they were bad ones. Sad day:( I mean, Como Zoo was fun. Kenna and Garrett were in love, and so were Ryleigh and Jared. Fun times, fun times;)

  4. I really dont think any of them have been to memorable as good or bad. Just getting to make some strange memories with friends makes it worth it.

  5. Wisconsin Leadership Seminars! By far the most amazing thing EVER!!! It's the reason for most of my friends from far away places for those who are wondering...It was a 3-day camp-like seminar where everyone is so over the top, crazy, and all of the people are some of the most amazing you'll ever meet! Right now, however, WILS is coming back to bite me in the (rear end.)

  6. As far as i remember, the best field trip i have ever attended was in 9th grade. Me and my class went to one of the historical cities in my country. That was the first time i went there. The Historic City of Shaki has exerted a considerable influence on the development of the civil and military architecture and works of art in my country. Shaki represents in an exceptionally complete and well-preserved way the urban fabric and monumental buildings of a 15th century combining elements of Islamic and European design and planning in a harmonious fashion.
As we entered to the city, we gasped with astonishment. This place was probably the best place we have ever been. Firstly we went to the national museum. OMG, it was gorgeous, majority of the building was decorated with traditional painted glasses, besides there was a small pool, surrounded with amazing trees.
After that, we visited several more places, but this museum had a huge impact on us.

  7. The best conference I have been to is for FCCLA the past two years in the Dells. The first year our room was pretty freaky, in the middle of the night our bathroom door started moving, we almost called Mrs. Neuburg we were so scared. Then last year was the best time ever! We all went to the waterpark and we went out to eat at Denny's at 10:30! Delanie spilled her drink all over and it was hilarious! The next night we all hung out in our room and we watched Dear John, it was a great time!!! :) Thats the part of high school that I'm going to miss.

  9. My favorite trip would have to be track state last year, thats not really a field trip, but it was a school event and it was really fun being in that environment and it was exciting! We got to stay in the dorms in LaCrosse and that was a really good time because we all got to hang out and have fun. I really liked track state because its an experience everyone should be able to go to!

  10. The best convention I went to was the Nation FFA Convention last year. We were not told what to do so we walked around a mall and got free stuff most of the time. We also got to go to a concert and a rodeo. The concert was Blake Shelton and it was awesome! I also got to get out of the state for a little but because it was in Indiana.

  11. I don't know if this counts or not, but going to state track last year was so much fun! Kenna, Brittany, Ryleigh, Chey and I all dressed up as ninjas and were running around the dorms at night. Everybody would look at us and either laugh or just give us a priceless blank stare thinking "what is wrong with you." It was so fun and I will hoenstly never forget it. We even met some "Troys" in the process, only the ninjas will understand this. If we go to state again, we are being ninjas, no doubt.

  12. Well since Hannah did a sporting event, I'm running with that. Both track state and cross country state tournaments are a lot of fun. I'de say that state cross country meet this year was the best one I had ever been to. Both teams ran very well and then we stayed overnight and partied until four in the morning.

  13. My favorite field trip was probably snowboarding last year for the winter activity. It was so much fun watching people that are not very good fall all the time and land on their faces. I will admit I fell pretty bad as well and I broke my goggles. It was also so much fun snowboarding with Troy and Garrett.

  14. I've gone to three camps that I absolutely loved. They were a choir camp, a science camp, and an acting camp. It was wonderful to be fully immersed in whatever subject it was at the time and not have to worry about what was going on at home. It also gave me a slight version of what being away from home and on my own would be like. As to the worst one, i'm not sure I've had one yet.

  15. I like school trips and events, and my favorite would probably be a toss up between cross country and track state. They were both really fun, but in different ways. I remember that I was misplaced from my teammates while running through La Crosse.

  16. I love going to dance state! I really look forward to sitting and watching all the amazing teams each year. And i love when our parents make a big snack buffet and we sneak it in with our backpacks. It is also really fun to have deep conversations on the late night bus ride home.

  17. I would have to agree with my love Kenna that Como Zoo was a pretty sweet trip. It was a little sad though because we were put into separate groups and we didn't see each other much while on the tour. With the power of our love we eventually found each other again to go on some pretty sweet rides.

  20. The best feild trip that I have ever been on was when I went to Valley Fair for being a bus partrol in 5th grade. Bus patrol's only jobs was to make sure that the little kids got on and off the bus when they were supose to and that everyone was quite when at train tracks. As our reward we went to Valley Fair on June 5th (which is my birthday) so that what awesome.
