Spring
I realize that I'm jumping the seasons a little bit, but it seems like spring is in the air! All week the temperature is supposed to be near 40 :-) What outdoor activities are you looking forward to now that the cold weather finally has broken its hold over us (at least for a little bit, anyway)? Is there anything about winter that you will miss? Is there anything about spring that you don't like? Discuss!

There's a lot of things I can't wait for. I'm really looking forward to riding my motorcycle; I haven't ridden it since November. Baseball also starts in three weeks, that's always fun. This year we have a game scheduled at the Dome =)
ReplyDeleteI will miss a few things from winter: riding my snowmobile, going skiing, and just enjoying the winter scenery.
I'm not a real big fan of March though. Its too warm to do winter activities, but its too cold and muddy to do summer activites. I like winter in the summer and I like summer in the winter. I'm just glad we have four season.
I love spring. It is so great. The worst part of winter is that it is so dark all the time. I love spring because when I wake up it is actually light outside. I really enjoy the wrath as well. I like going outside and not having to have a coat and mittens on. :) also I love spring because it means winter is done and summer is coming. :)

ReplyDeleteSPirng is my favorite season by far and that never will change. I won''t miss anything about winter because i hate snow and i hate when snow is covering the roads haha!

Hm I love doing all outdoor activities in the Spring. I love the warmth. One of my favorite things to do in the spring is go up to my grandma and grandpa's house up in Birchwood and go to the lake and go swimming and go jet skiing because I do doughnuts on it. =) I also just like going for walks and riding horse too.
ReplyDeleteThere is absolutely nothing that I will miss about winter other than the fact that all the icky spring bugs aren't around. Other than that I can't stand Winter because I can't stand the cold.
I can't say that there is much about Spring that I don't like. Like I said above, I don't like the bugs, but other than that I love Spring!! =) (and Summer of course).
I pretty much love everything about spring, except the mud from melting snow. I look forward to seeing the flowers blooming and the sun shining. I want to be able to go outside without a coat and gloves.
ReplyDeleteI will not miss anything about winter. I hate how everything is so blah colored, everyting is white and brown. I can't wait untill the grass starts to turn green and the leaves come out.
I actually like winter a lot. I love snow because that means snowmobiling. I wish snow could be around all year without it being cold. I WILL DEFINITELY MISS SNOWMOBILING, but spring means four-wheeling. Spring is exciting because flowers and trees start growing again. I love watching things start from seeds and grow to be beautiful. I dislike when the snow melts and everything gets muddy. Four-wheeling will take up the time that I spent snowmobiling. I like winter, but spring has good things as well.

ReplyDeleteI love spring and I will tell you why: Because of: Turkey hunting, baseball, fishing, not cold, and it is a little closer to deer hunting. I like winter when it comes for a while, but then getting into my car every morning when it is cold outside gets a little old. I really enjoy the first few snowfalls of every season. I do not think that there is anything about spring that I do not like. I also enjoy the amount of daylight be =cause it is more plentiful.
I am very excited about the changing of the seasons. I love winter and all of the fun activties that come with it, but I could not live with it year around. I need a little variety.
ReplyDeleteDuring spring, activities such as playing baseball and running around outside without my shoes or socks on are fun things to be doing. If I had a motorcycle, I would be out riding it. But since my mother won't let me own one, I'm just goig to have to pretend for right now. I am most excited for the chance to start fly fishing.
I'm am so excited for spring!!! You can go outside without having to bundle up! I love being able to just be outside. I love gardening!!! I guess that's more summer but it's still great! The one thing about winter that I will miss is the sparkling snow because it's so pretty. Also in winter, the stars seem brighter for some reason. However, I definetly would choose spring over winter.
ReplyDeleteI like what KEVIN wrote. He said that he enjoys the first few snowfalls of every season. He makes it sound like it snows every season: spring, summer, fall, and winter. Haha! I just thought it was funny how he wrote that.
ReplyDeleteIm really excited for Spring! It means that school is winding down, warm weather is coming, and softball starts! I am excited for it to be baseball season, I love watching baseball games! Luke said they play in the dome this year and I am really excited to go watch!
ReplyDeleteI will miss Winter a little, because it does mean basketball season is over and no more snow! But oh well Spring is deffintely better than Winter! :)
I'm excited for winter to be over. It's fun when it's not too cold and you can go outside and have fun, but that funness only lasts for a little bit. Then it's time for the cold to go away! :) But I do think it would have been fun to snowmobile one more time...
ReplyDeleteI love spring because after spring is summer! Track starts (YAY!) and everything is so much more energetic and lively. Plus baby animals are born. They're so cute! I am looking forward to wearing shorts and flip flops and not having to scrape off my car in the morning.
Every spring when the snow melts a section of my barn "floods." That happened today! I'm so excited! I love it when my barn floods because it means that it's nice and warm and sunny!
I am ready for spring and summer! Winter is nice but I feel as though these seasons have been dragging on I mean really come on now! ENOUGH WITH THE SNOW! haha But once the spring is here my siblings and i take out all the toys and play in the yard together which is a lot of fun! :)
ReplyDeleteI am soooooooooooo excited for spring, because that means summer is coming! I absolutely love being outside in the summer. I really enjoy swimming, tubing, boating, running outside, and just being able to open up my windows. I love driving around with my windows on my car rolled down. :) Besides that, spring and summer mean more sun and that means I'll get a tan! I'm tired of being so white haha. I will miss the beautiful snow though. I love it when it's snowimg outside and you're inside, wrapped in a warm blanket! The thing that I don't like about spring is how the snow gets all dirty and everything seems wet and squishy.
